Chapter 03

"Young master, your brother wants to see you" the butler called as soon as the young master came in.

"He does? Wait! He's here?! Since when? Where is he?" panic was evident in his face, lots of excuse and reason came rushing down to his brain trying to see what's best to to tell his over protective brother.

"Yes he does, yes he's here, he came after you left, and in his study room" the butler answered his question one by one in a single sentence making the young man look at him weirdly but soon shrugged it off.

"Thanks" he ended as he speed walk towards his brothers study room trying to straighten his attire and face.

Finally at his brothers large door he gulped down and tried to act normal as possible 'it's not like he'll freak out the same as before' he reassured himself, calming down he brightly smiled and kicked the doors wide open as he screamed.

"BROTHER!" he yelled excitedly as he went closer to his brother.

"Lumician" he started as he narrowed his eyes unto him.

As the young man named Lumician went nearer the more his brother glared or narrowed his eyes on him, plopping down at the sofa Lumician heaved a sigh of relief and looked at his brother straight in the eyes.

"You were looking for me?" he asked grinning widely as if he was innocent and got nothing to do but to piss his brother off.

"Glad you came and please sit down CAREFULLY, you should really learn how to not worry me" his brother stated or more like scolded.

As Lumician grinned widely at his brother the man just shrugged him off, since childhood this brother of his has been the quite worrisome or the most concern person when it comes to him and his health. Well that is aside from the his company and his growing sum of reputation and image, ah and don't forget about his secret society Lumician rolled his eyes on that one and went back to focus on his brothers scolding.

"Where were you? Who were with you? You should've told me where you were going! What if someone saw you? What if someone could have recognize you? What if you got into trouble? AGAIN? You should've at least let the guards accompany you, oh my gosh my head hurts" he exclaimed while rubbing his temple, frustration was clear at the young man's face.

As Lumician listen to his brother's nag and scold he can not help but to laugh nervously, thinking on how to reply to his brother's questions he finally got something in mind grinning mischievously as he tried not to let out a laugh he compose himself and breath in.

"I'm sorry okay? I've been at the playground with Mae, only a few kids saw me there, and none of the kids recognized me, we both know that trouble is my soulmate right? But this time I didn't get into one, I only accompanied Mae to have some fun and for me to adjust to the country, it has been YEARS since the last time we were here, and about the guards well yeah they were tired so I let them rest" Lumician reasoned out while he also wiggled his eyebrows of how he replied to his brother, very familiar don't you think so?

"And they agreed?!" His brother yelled that quite made him jump a lil bit.

"Sorry, tell me why did they agree?" his brother asked as he sat down at his seat brows still furrowed.

"Well, at first they didn't really agree with me going out alone well not until I quite actually threatened them" now wiggling his thumbs together he glances back and forth to his brother and his thumb.

"Threatened with what?" narrowing his eyes at his brother he can't help but think of how his brothers brain worked at times.

"That I'd tell you and about how I already asked for your permission" He then sighed and leaned back hearing Lumician's poor excuse, 'Gee if he continues to sigh like that he'll grow old' the young man thought.

"Lumician Neel I'm only doing this for your own good, have you ever thought of the consequences of your actions?" he said and asked while standing up and walking up to his desk.

"I know, but I gotta get out sometimes its boring staying at home" Lumician argued looking bored with pleading eyes.

"Someday Lumician, someday. Now, what time is it?"

"Well, nearly six I guess- you have your watch brother" Lumician replied sassy and quite unsure of what the time is as he looked at his brother's watch.

"Okay then you're dismissed, go and take your dinner don't forget to take your medicine and get some rest" his brother ordered as he sit back on his leather seat trying to focus on his papers.

"Yea yea sure" Lumician replied shrugging and standing up walking towards the door that is until a brown haired girl with highlights popped up on his mind.

"Hey bro?" he turned back around to see his brother.

"Yeah?" his brother replied not looking at Lumician.

"I have favor to ask" he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sure what is it?" now looking at his brother direction with an expression Lumician hardly see or recognize.

"Can you get me the file of Venus Lumier?" he asked seriously.

"Venus Lumier?" he repeated.

"Yea" grinning he then looked at his brother with approval

"Alright, I'll see what I can do" upon hearing what his brother said he beamed and fist pumped in the air.

"Thanks bro" and with that he went out of the room all happy and smiling.

"Venus Lumier... "

°°°Fast Forward°°°

It's finally Monday morning at around 10 and my heart has been aching quite badly I know what I said weeks ago that I should be happy for them but heck I can not just easily move on like I have not felt anything before internally groaning I can not help but want to strangle Gabriel right here right now.

But what am I hurting and whining about? Well it's simple really right in front of me is Edward and Gabriel holding hands and feeding each other with their snacks like you both have two hands you know Gabriel could feed herself without Edward's help.

Oh my gosh if only looks could kill I would have killed my best friend with his lover like come on! It's too early for this to be happening at school and it's too early for me to be this hurt and jealous, ugh! Give my heart some break please- oh wait a minute maybe I should just leave heck no still a no no Edward would go suspicious and find out I was jealous.

"Ve" Levy whispered, as I turn my attention towards my girl best friend she immediately noticed how I was glaring daggers at the newly formed couple.

"Yea Lev?" I replied still having that look as I glance back and forth from the couples to my girl bestie.

"You're torturing your box of milk" she pointed out eyeing the milk, turning my attention to the box at my hands I can not help but gasp of how my the white milk was spilling out for the box.

"Oh shoot!" I exclaimed out loud putting down the drink as I try to wiggle my hand from the spilled milk.

"What happened Ve?" Edward asked, 'Oh I don't know Eddy I was trying to murder you both and my milk was the one getting tortured' I mentally scowled and looked back at him.

"Ah that, ha-ha I kinda accidentally grip it tightly" I reasoned out trying to act fine and good about what happened to my milk, my poor milk.

"Here wipe your hands" Edward then passed me his navy handkerchief momentarily cheering for myself of how I have most of his things while his girlfriend don't 'Ha ha beat that Gabriel' I cheered and snickered secretly, as I wipe my hands off.

"Thanks" I smiled and then stuff the fabric in my pockets while wiggling my eyebrows at him we both know that I won't be giving his things back he just smirked and shook his head.

"So, whats your plans for lunch?" he ask while grabbing Gabriel's hand 'show off' mentally rolling my eyes at their interlocked hands.

"N-" I was about to reply nothing when suddenly Levy beat me to it.

"She's coming with me" she plainly said as she grabbed my arms and interlocked with hers, with wide eyes I looked at her trying to see what she has in store with me.

"Oh, guess you can't come with us then" Edward pouted and acted like he looked hurt.

"I actually wouldn't mind though, we'd love for you to have lunch with us" Gabriel said with a smiling face, now how can I hate her when she's so nice? Omg I'm going nuts, I want to cry why you got to do this to me Gabriel?! Why?!

"N-no its fine, you two should be together most of the time I don't mind" I said sounding unaffected yet it hurts just so you know, oh how I want to strangle myself right there and then.

"Okay then" Edward then check the time and smiled at us, he looked at his girl friend and nod.

"Guess it's time, we better get going see ya round Ve and Levy, you ready Gabe?" he ask as he stood up waiting for her.

"Yes I am let's get going we don't wanna miss the first the subject, see you around Venus, Levy" And with that they stood up and went off hand in hand, as I stare at their retreating backs I can't help but feel a tug at my own heart ouch.

"How can I possibly hate her when she's so nice?" I mumbled and look down at my own hands, trying to stop the aching sensation in my chest.

"There there Ve, I guess it's time for you to find a new partner" she comforts as she tried to softly pat my back.

"But I don't wanna" I whine and pouted as I tried not to cry, flashes of Edward and me going out having fun seemed to make the ache much more hurtful.

"You do see and feel that they do love each other right?" She asks while I just nod at her statement, I then put my head on the table while still looking at Levy sniffling here and there.

"Venus look, like their are tons of guys here on planet Earth, Edward's not the only guy you'll ever meet and fall in love you know. Acceptance is the key to move on." she said with a much more convincing tone and action.

"But I don't want to move on Lev I want him and only him" I said a bit too bratty and and selfish, if Edward does hear me saying this he will probably be disappointed.

"Seriously" she said with an 'Are-you-kidding-me' kind of a look.

"What?" I said while raising an eyebrow, he was my first love how can I easily move on and suck it up?

"Venus like you could easily get a guy for you and fall in love, the guy for you might be just wandering out there waiting to bump with you" something then pop on my mind when she mentioned bump, well that's quite familiar.

"Speaking of bump" I said as I straightened up and looked at her in her eyes.

"What? Changing the topic now?" crossing her arms with a plain look at me I just wiggled my eyebrows to her and grin.

"Yes" I proudly stated and rest my arms on the table while I leaned my face on my hand, sighing and can't seem to argue with me she looked at me with curiosity.

"okay what?" she said as she sipped on her orange juice that I somehow forgot it was still there.

"I did bump into Lumic last Saturday at the park" I confessed and think back to our conversation, which was really suspicious.

"Really?" she raised an eyebrow, amusement was evident in her face as she tried to hide the growing smirk on her face 'Yeah nice try Lev' I mentally commented.

"Yeah, and how come you didn't tell me that Lisa and Lumic were dating?" I questioned narrowing my eyes at her recalling the time where she called me and how she could of save me from the mobs that tossed me here and there just to know what our relationship was.

"Like they've been dating for 2 years now, 2 YEARS. I didn't know that you didn't know that stuff" she pouted, the amusement now long gone from her face replaced with something that I can not somehow place, hmm.

"Of course I didn't, and how did you know?" I questioned again trying to see where this conversation would go, sighing she then took a sip from her juice and soon replied.

"Investigation, and now that you know well that, yeah they've been dating and are still miraculously still dating each other" She stated with a bit of duh tone, clearly not approving of their relationship I get the feeling that she's not telling me everything though.

"Whats up with you and 'miraculously'?" I question while also looking at the time, I signal at her to get up and did so.

"Well, I'm miraculously hoping that some guy would get the guts to ask me out" shrugging her shoulders as we walk out.

She was definitely glancing back and forth at some person I then look at who she was glancing at time to time, and found myself looking at no other than Stephen Mc'Aaron, the schools bad boy kind of a type but somehow deep inside is quite a softy towards my friend here I then look back at Levy and snickered.

"You liiiiiiiiiiike him" I teased and nudged her side her eyes widen and blushes more the drag me to my room and rushes out yelling.

"See ya Venus" roar now I know who to officially ship. Going to my class the classes then went by boringly and I can't seem to focus suddenly out of nowhere my phone buzzed, I then took out my phone and see who texted and guess whose it from? No other than Lumic Neel himself how I know well he didn't lie when he told me that he'll kill me that night I was like 'whoa this guy', but putting that aside what does he want now?

From: Lumic Neel - V I C T O R I A !

To: Lumic Neel - Its Venus, V E N U S ! What is it?

I replied, wow of all names Victoria? Seconds later he replied, he replies fast, doesn't he have class? Ah! Right businessman as well as a student I almost forgot, mentally face palming for a minute I then shrug it off.

From: Lumic Neel - I'm bored, I've been locked inside at our own house. I can't get out! My brother wont let me leave.

As I read his message I can't help but internally sweat drop, like really now? Locked from his own house? What's that supposed to mean? Like literally locked or just a figure of speech? Sometimes I feel sorry for this guy and sometimes not, I just feel like he's lightning up the mood making me happy and laugh at times of his weird actions.

To: Lumic Neel - Whats that got to do with me?

I sent the message quickly and act as if I'm listening to the teacher's discussion, but meh I could just go to the library and refresh the lesson afterwards or maybe read some books at home to refresh the things she's been saying. To tell you the truth it's actually quite better to self study than to listen to the professor talk, like somehow it's much more delightful knowing somethings on your own.

From: Lumic Neel - Help me! please!

To: Lumic Neel - Help you of what? Get you out? No thanks, I probably be accused of kidnapping you or some other things to.

I sent the message then look at the board mind flowing else where like why would he come to me for help? He could of just message his brother to let him out- wait lowly gasping I then imagined of scenarios of as to why he is being imprisoned inside, seconds later the phone buzzed again.

From: Lumic Neel - You could always just come by.

He suggests, well it cant hurt to drop by could it? I momentarily battled with my inner self trying to make sense of his suggestion, biting my lips this could be quite a handful. But it's cool hanging out with a friend though, should I ask Levy to come along? Maybe I should she has been following and checking for updates about this guy since then, how did I know? Well simple really I kind of accidentally saw it back at their house, and ahem as well as Stephen.

To: Lumic Neel - I'll see what I can do after class Lumic.

From: Lumic Neel - Great! I'll be expecting you at 4:00.

To: Lumic Neel - Keyword "SEE".

From: Lumic Neel - Still, thanks Vick.

To: Lumic Neel - Okay and it's V E N US !

I replied with a humph mentally scolding him of how he keeps on changing my name, like my name is not that shaking my head I just tried to concentrate on the topic or teacher or professor was going on. Well, that is until I suddenly remembered he never gave me his address wow face palming I sighed, that is now up to him.

"Class dismissed" whoa already? I looked from left to right as if I couldn't believe what I was hearing wow I guess we're off the hook too soon.

Packing my belongings I then checked at my phone to see if Lumic finally noticed his flaw about his address and I guess he didn't, no reply from the black haired man sighing I got out the room this was my 3rd subject of the day.

Checking my time it was already 1:30 in the afternoon time for lunch, and yes I eat this time for lunch since my class schedule is quite capped up. Time to meet the shrimp person 'Yo shrimp' stopping dead on my track I then held my head, what was that? Was that a memory?

Shaking my head and composing myself I trudge forward towards the cafeteria, well whatever that was it was now long gone. Shrugging the uncomfortable feeling off I continued walking at the ground to meet my friend, I hope she doesn't mind me being late cause I'll now be taking my time going there.
