Not Much Information

It was only in the evening when Ye Heng finally had time to look at the email that Su Ming Yuan sent to him earlier.

Ye Heng felt that having a brother-in-law like Su Ming Yuan was quite good. 

Su Ming Yuan had a lot of friends. Obtaining all sorts of information was quite easy for him.

Ye Heng scrolled down the email and read all sorts of information about A-Link. However, Ye Heng realized that a lot of the information in the email was on Quan Lian, the founder of A-Link.

There was not much information about the person that he wanted to know about.

Ye Heng only found brief information on Tang Shi Yi, A-Link's new partner.

It seemed that Tang Shi Yi had only joined the company recently. Therefore, there was not much information about her.

Moreover, it seemed that it hadn't been long since Tang Shi Yi moved to Y City.

Ye Heng did not have the information on Tang Shi Yi before she came to Y City.

Ye Heng read the information on A-Link company again. He thought that it would be good for Tang Shi Yi to stay with A-Link.

That person called Quan Lian was quite lucky to have discovered a talent like Tang Shi Yi. 

If it was according to their plan, Tang Shi Yi might be working for Ye Group instead. 

Unfortunately...

A weak smile appeared on Ye Heng's face.

He wanted to meet with Tang Shi Yi and catch up with her. There were so many things that he wanted to ask her as well. Ye Heng was thinking that perhaps he should find a way to get her contact number.

Unless he figured out what happened to Tang Shi Yi years ago, Ye Heng would not be at ease.

"Shi Yi, take a look at this proposal." Quan Lian pushed the documents across the table and let his friend look at the files on the table.

Tang Shi Yi held the document and started to read the details with a serious look on her face. 

It did not take her too long to figure out that there was some mistake in the documents. She pointed the mistake to Quan Lian and the two of them ended up discussing the company matters for a long time.

A-Link was established not too long ago but had already received a lot of attention from many people in Y City. Because of this, Quan Lian was especially nervous.

He wanted his company to succeed and live up to expectations.

Fortunately, he met Tang Shi Yi and managed to convince her to come and wait for him. After working together for a while, Quan Lian offered Tang Shi Yi to be his partner.

Their relationship became closer and Tang Shi Yi easily became one of the people that Quan Lian trusted. Later, Quan Lian found himself falling for Tang Shi Yi a little more.

She was kind, beautiful, and smart.

 It was impossible not to like her.

Quan Lian wished to get closer to Tang Shi Yi, but he was aware that she was keeping a distance from him.

According to Tang Shi Yi, she was not interested in being in a relationship. At this moment, all she wanted to do was to work hard and raise her twins. Moreover, her daughter, Tang Xiao's condition was not that good.

"Quan Lian."

Tang Shi Yi's voice snapped Quan Lian out of his thoughts.

"I think the proposal should be perfect after we make a little adjustment."

Quan Lian looked at the documents briefly before placing the document on the side. Then, he raised his head again and looked at his friend again. "Shi Yi, will you be free tonight? There is a business gathering that I'd like you to attend."

Tang Shi Yi pondered over Quan Lian's words. "I'll have to check if there if there is someone who will look after Chen Chen."

"Mmm... I understand." Quan Lian nodded. "Just tell me if you can make it or not." There was a helpless smile on his face. "I want to introduce you to a few people, but your son is the most important."

Before Tang Shi Yi came to work for A-Link, she had given a few terms to Quan Lian and he had agreed to all of her requests.

Tang Shi Yi spent her time in Quan Lian's office for a while before she returned to her office. She slumped on her seat and leaned back with a sigh. She raised her hand and started rubbing her neck and shoulder.

It hasn't been a long time since she got her position as a partner in A-Link. Tang Shi Yi did not think that her days would be so tiring.

Tang Shi Yi was planning to sit down and relax for a few minutes. However, before she could close her eyes, the phone on her table rang.

She reached for her phone and smiled when she saw a familiar name on her phone screen. Tang Shi Yi swiped her finger on the screen and pressed the phone to her ear.

"Mommy!" Tang Chen's voice was heard on the other line.

"Chen Chen, did you just get home from kindergarten?" Tang Shi Yi asked.

"Un. Mommy, are you busy?"

"Well, Mommy was just taking a break," Tang Shi Yi said. "Chen Chen, how was your kindergarten? What did you learn at school today?"

 The mother and son chatted for a while. 

Mostly, Tang Shi Yi would ask her son about his day and Tang Chen would talk to her about everything he liked.

Tang Shi Yi would always feel guilty that she did not get to spend a lot of time with her children. Fortunately, her children were both very understanding.

While chatting with Tang Chen, Tang Shi Yi finally remembered something that Quan Lian had spoken to her earlier.

"Chen Chen, is Uncle Yin beside you?" Tang Shi Yi asked.

Tang Chen glanced at the man who was busily tapping his finger on his computer. "Un. Uncle Yin is here."

"Then, let Mommy speak to him for a bit, alright?"
