Love Buddies

Now that I look at him, I really don't know why I ever liked my boyfriend. He was always mean to me and never showed me any love. I guess I just grew used to it.

He always used to beat me if I didn't listen to him. I always thought about leaving, but he was always able to win my heart back. I hated it, I really did, but I just couldn't leave him.

That was until he decided to break up with me. The worst part was he was cheating on me with my best friend. Guess I couldn't trust anyone in this world.

It's been 3 months since the breakup, and I still couldn't accept it. It didn't help that he would still send me pictures of him and my friend. Even when I blocked him, he would just text me with a different phone number.

I knew I was depressed, but I couldn't do anything. I had no one to go to for help. My parents had died in a car crash 4 years ago, and I didn't have any siblings.

Even if I went to a therapist, I knew it wouldn't help. I needed someone I loved, not some random person. Also I didn't have any friends so I couldn't talk to them.

But while I was walking through the streets one day, I noticed a new strip club had been built. Not having anything to do that day, I decided this might be good for me to get myself out there.

She quickly responded with,"I would love to, but first, my name is Elena."

I grab her hand and start guiding her to the back room,"I'm Emma." I tell her.
