Isaac was just a normal kid. Just walking down the street to go to school like he did every morning. His house was only a mile from school so why not? The bus took twice as long, and was way overcrowded by the end of the route. He wondered to himself if his parents were going to throw a party for him this year.

Did they get me rollerblades for my birthday like I wanted? They didn't have much extra money so I didn't think there would be a party. I really wanted those rollerblades though. I'd be happy with that. I thought about rolling down the street on my skateboard for a moment before I was falling.

At first my mind said that I fell in a manhole, but I was spinning head over heels. suddenly I stopped spinning. I was standing in the middle of some kind of room. It looked more like a log cabin with a stone floor. A man spoke up in some kind of gibberish language.
