"Can you give me some support?" Finrod asked.
The funari looked at his hands, then back at Finrod.
"Maybe, maybe I can."
Finrod heard the man groan as he struggled to stand up. The graimpuf had gotten up now, it shook its body and then licked its mouth.
"Aren't they supposed to be smart? It's outnumbered." Finrod commented.
The funari mage let out a light chuckle, "Do you think it thinks that it's at a disadvantage? Look at us. Even if it thought so, the transformation would have removed its sense of reasoning, turning it into a beast that is filled with bloodlust, and that's why it's attacking in the first place." He explained and let out a dry weak cough after.
The mage leaned on the tree behind him, standing and facing the graimpuf in front of them.
Finrod stood his ground, his eyes focused on the creature and his sword held up in a defensive stance.
