Let Me Love you (Until you love me again)

As the warm sun bathed the grounds of Hope orphanage on that beautiful spring day, the joyful laughter of the children echoed through the air. The nuns, with hearts full of kindness, bustled around preparing a nourishing meal for the little ones as the clock ticked closer to lunchtime. The scene painted a picture of love, care, and happiness, creating a heartwarming atmosphere that enveloped everyone in its embrace.

On a little swing a little girl swayed gently on the swing, her small purple teddy bear clutched tightly in her arms, her eyes fixated on the towering gate of the orphanage.

With each passing moment, her hopes soared as she yearned for the arrival of the one she had been eagerly waiting for. The scene captured a poignant blend of longing, anticipation, and a sprinkle of optimism in the air, creating a tender moment filled with emotions.

''Sunny, let us go inside and eat'' mother su says as she approaches Sunny.

As Sunny gazes at Mother Su with tearful eyes, the emotions she had been containing now yearn to escape through her eyes. The tears, long held back, now plead to be released, carrying with them a flood of feelings that had been building up inside her.

Mother Su hurriedly hugs Sunny as she taps her back gently.

''Sunny, let us go inside so you can eat hmm? you're been like this for six weeks already, and it is not good for your health! you know you just got out of the hospital. you are not feeling that well hmm?' mother su says as she comforts sunny.

Sunny suddenly burst into tears, crying her heart out, she wrapped her arms tightly around Mother Su, seeking solace and comfort in her embrace. The floodgates of emotions opened, allowing Sunny to release all the pent-up feelings she had been holding inside, finding a sense of relief in the warmth of Mother Su's comforting presence.

''Yes that's it, that's it just cry, cry until your heart calms down. don't hold it in because it will just hurt you more.''

''mother where did he go?''

''is he even coming back?''

''Why did he leave me here alone?'' sunny continuously ask mother su between her sobs.

''I didn't know where he goes or what he has been doing but I only know one thing that he will never leave you here alone. And I'm still here your not alone okay.'' mother su says trying to comfort her.

''look at me sunny'' mother su place her hands in Sunny's cheeks as she wipes away her tears but it still rolls down over and over again.

''You know that he cares for you so much right?'' mother su asks.

Sunny nodded trying to control her tears.

''Then you must know better than anyone that he will never let you live here alone. right?''

Sunny nodded and this time her tears stop falling, She looks back at the gate ''mother Su I know that Jin, will come back I trust him. He will come back'' Sunny tries to reassure herself. ''Let us go now mother Su'' sunny force a smile and started to walk inside.

Mother Su's heartaches as she sees sunny, She didn't know what had happened to Jin but the last time she sees him was when Sunny was in the hospital.

Mother su didn't know where Sunny and Jin came from, a year ago it was raining heavily and someone was banging the orphanage's gate as the doorbell keeps ringing that Mother Su has no choice but to open the door where there is Sunny and Jin

Jin was piggybacking Sunny as soon as he sees mother Su, He begs her to help them because sunny is burning with a fever and blood where all over her forehead, It was raining heavily and the blood was all over their clothes! Mother Su hurriedly help the two kids!

since that day Mother Su let them live in the orphanage but Jin is such a mature kid he clearly tells mother Su that they will live there but he will be one doing the job so that they won't be a burden and that Jin says that he will never allow if they were to be adopted because once he reaches the right age he will take care of Sunny.

It was the first time that mother Su saw such a determined eye from an eleven-year-old kid thus, she said yes.

From then on mother Su saw how Jin cared so much for sunny, Sunny is only 8 years old while Jin is twelve.

when they eat Jin would always gives his meat portions off to sunny not minding if he only eats a little as long as Sunny is happy.

Seven weeks ago Sunny and Jin is cleaning in the orphanage, she and Jin always do the cleaning together because they want to help the nuns to keep the place clean. When suddenly sunny fell down the flor completely unconscious.

The doctor said she needed a second surgery because there is something on her head and it needed to be removed before anything happens. Sunny has already had undergo surgery when they first came into the hope orphanage! and now she needed it again.

But when sunny woke up after the surgery Jin is nowhere to be seen!

Mother Su didn't really know what had happened to Jin, But she is sure that it has something to do with the money he gave to mother Su.

Hope orphanage is just a small orphanage they only rely on the money that their sponsors give to them so when Sunny was hospitalized they don't have enough money for sunny's operation they barely manage to survive every day due to the number of children in the orphanage!

thus Jin, said that they don't have to worry about the money because he will do something about it. Jin has been working in the capital of the city. He will leave the orphanage at 6 a.m and come home at 4 p.m He said that he is working at a factory but whenever mother Su tried to visit him in his work they always said that visitors are not allowed during work hours.

As Mother Su waited anxiously at the entrance of the factory, her mind filled with worry about the work Jin might be doing. When Jin finally appeared, looking exhausted and drained, he passed by Mother Su as if she was invisible, leaving her heart heavy with concern and unanswered questions.

but the truth is Jin walks as if his soul had been out of his body. He didn't notice mother Su at all.

It's as if Jin was merely a shell of himself, his spirit detached from his body as he walked past Mother Su, completely unaware of her presence. His distant gaze and disconnected demeanor painted a picture of inner turmoil and deep struggle, overshadowing any recognition of Mother Su's concerned presence.

His cold sweat dripping down heavily! mother Su did not call him out instead she followed him and when they arrived at the gate of the orphanage Jin stops as if he just found himself noticing that he's been sweating he wipe his sweats as well as fixing his hair. he didn't even notice that mother Su was following him. Forcing a smile he opens the door of the gate.

Mother Su wondered what work could it be that makes him very weak and out of himself she decided to talk to him about it but Jin denied everything and refused to talk.

He just said they don't have to worry about anything because he will take care of the money. But mother Su can't help but worry!

Ever since that day he gave the money to mother Su, he just disappears like a bubble! mother Su even went to the place where he works but it was already closed down.

Mother Su didn't want Sunny to worry because she is not fully recovered from the surgery so she didn't tell her what was happening.

''Mother, let us go inside'' Sunny comes back to call mother Su.

''Oh alright, let's head in.'' keeping the thoughts in the back of her mind mother Su went inside with sunny.

As the boy concealed himself near the tree, his gaze fixed on the girl who was on the verge of fading from his view.

"I'm so sorry I have to leave you," he murmured to himself, his eyes brimming with a sense of solitude and powerlessness.

Sneaking into the orphanage from the rear, he stole a final glance at her, his heart heavy with the weight of impending departure.

"I will be back to keep my promise to you,"

he whispered to himself before reluctantly departing, his words carrying a mixture of determination and longing, echoing in the quiet air as he left the scene behind.
