Back to the Palace.

We got to the palace and the Royal guards were shocked to see me with a stranger.

" Don't open your mouths too much, if not flies would have a place to stay." I smirked and they immediately cautioned themselves.

We went straight to my room and before I knew it, the door flung open.

" Oh Leonor, you got me worried for long." My mom's happy voice was what I heard.

" Sorry mom, but I just wanted so space from all this palace stuffs." I said.

"I totally understand, but is this not the last princess of Alexia." Mom said when she saw Sophie.

" Yes, you got that one thing right." I said and gave her a thumbs up.

" But she has been missing good two months now." Mom was more surprised.

" Yeah, she also ran away for the same reason as I did." I explained. "But mom, don't inform her father about this, we got something to talk to you about."

She tried to disagree but she knew she had no choice. "Okay, but she can't go out of this room."

" Why?." I asked.

" What if someone recognizes her and sends message to Alexia that we have their princess, they might think otherwise." Mom explained.

" Alright, we've gotten it." I said and she nodded and left.

When mom has left, I looked at Sophie and it seemed she had been holding her breath. "Wow, your mom is really nice." she commented.

" Yeah, but she can be bossy sometimes, it's just that we end up making it a joke." I said.

" You're lucky to have her. Once I get to Alexia, my mom won't even welcome me, she would totally find pleasure in screaming at me instead." Sophie said and I immediately felt guilty for running away, it must have hurt my mom but it was for the best, I finally knew cruel the worldly people could be.

" So how are we going to tell your mom about what we heard?." Sophie broke into my thoughts.

" Maybe, we'd just walk up to her and narrate it all to her. My mom is a smart woman, she'll figure something out." I said.

" You're making me feel more bad about my witch of a mom." She said.

" I'm sorry, but you shouldn't address your mom like that." I corrected.

" Okay, can we just go to your mom now?." she asked.

" Yeah, sure." I said.
