Jail brawl

"You know the saying 'beat up the biggest person in prison to get the respect of the other prisoners'?" asked James. William shuffled on the bench a little but stayed quiet. "If you beat up the whole prison then how much respect do you get?" Even for it's size, the cafeteria was still packed with almost everyone swarming around James and the others on their table. Word had gone around saying that James destroying the crystal gave them their abilities and caused them to be put in here. The guards didn't want anything to do with James after he killed several experimental ability users in the space of under an hour. Abigail went to stand up and leave but a large man grabbed her shoulder and pushed her back down onto the bench.

"Could you kindly take your hand off me?" she asked. The man smirked and started to grip harder causing Abigail to crumple slightly from the pain.

Edward stood up suddenly to stop the man but a woman put him in a headlock and held him down. James finished a bowl of porridge and placed his hands on the table.

"Damn, it's the same porridge we've had for nearly twenty years here yet Agnus always makes taste brand new every time." said James. A man leaned in behind him, picked up a knife from the table, and stabbed it through James' hand. Everybody froze and waited but James didn't even flinch. Ripping his hand in the process, James stood up and walked through the crowd and placed his bowl in the pile. Someone grabbed a tray and slammed it over James' head. The plastic shattered and James caught a falling piece of it. He turned around a held it to the neck of the person who hit him with the tray and then quickly sliced down the person's shirt exposing a tattoo of a unicorn.

"Oh, your so dead now!" grumbled the person but James chopped them in the throat causing them to gag and fall to the floor.

"Well that's a tough statement to fulfil" said James.

James walked over to a table, picked up the two benches either side of it, and slammed them together making them shatter into large splinters of wood. He picked out two and wielded them like swords. The large split in his hand healed and the man pulled the knife out of the table. He put it to Gaia's neck and taunted James who kicked a piece of wood into the light above causing a black out. It was complete darkness before the emergency red lights flickered on and James stood on top of a pile of bloody and mangled bodies. Behind him was one angelic wing and one demonic wind sprouting out of his back with a larger pair of flaming wings below them. A completely black and smokey figure swirled around James placing his celestial weapon in his hand. Blue flames raced along to ground setting six people on fire and making a hexagram; the burning people as the points and streaks of fire to make the lines and circle. Starting from the demonic wing and quickly spreading across his body, James took on a completely red, muscular, and satanic form with large horns and a long pointed tail. James' human form was repelled out of the body and it fell to the floor only to watch powerlessly as the floor fell beneath them; all the way down to the fiery pits of hell. The demonic form sat on a throne and laughed as chains wrapped themselves around James' human body and strung him up on display. Demons crawled out of holes and from behind rocks towards James' dangling and delicious body. A wilting, grey demon with six long, spider-like legs dashed towards him head with it's mouth unhinged and wide open.

Sarah fell to the floor and pushed herself backwards frantically while breathing heavily as James writhed on the bed with small flames igniting in the air around him. The snake-like strands of light receded back up her arms. She pulled off her lab coat to see where they went but their was no sign of them. James' movements suddenly stopped and a single red flame appeared over his head. It was then followed by two smaller blue flames that ignited over his hands. Finally, a small orb of white light rose out of his body from where his heart would have been and, when at an equal height to the other three flames, ignited into a white flame. A pair of small white wings sprouted from the white flame and flapped a little. The red flame sprouted a pair of larger and more viscous wings made of fire. Sarah looked at the blue flames waiting for their wings but nothing happened. She pulled her coat back on and made a dash for the door. She went out into the corridor and looked into the cell as she locked it. The flames had disappeared.

This made her want to leave even more. She turned and quickly walked down the corridor to her lab.
