The Vellas family, a very powerful family with Christophe as its head, were widely known and feared. Their business revolved on cocaine and ammunitions. They had lots of businesses like the Chrisvellas club, real estates, luxury hotels and the Airpetine whisky company. All based in the New York state. They used all these businesses to launder their money. Some politicians and police officers were in their pockets, but regardless, the FBI closely monitored them. Private investigators followed their moves closely, but they never managed to get a single evidence to sue them.
