"That building? It is a betting arena called Heaven's arena." Rei answered.
"What kind of betting?" Kal asked with a curious look. His question elicited an excited grin from the teen.
"Aniki, you interested? We can make a fortune if you take part in the arena."
"Why? You'll bet on me losing?" Kal confusedly asked. He can't understand how they'll make a fortune betting. He's sure he won't win since there are many strong Adventurers in Orario who can easily take him out.
The only way he sees Rei winning bets is if places them on his losing but even then he wouldn't make much since the odds would stack on his win not loss.
"Quite the contrary, Aniki." Rei's words made Kal even more confused.
"What did you mean?"
"I will bet on your winning," Rei replied his grin widening.
"Why? I may be strong but I don't think I can win against an S Rank Adventure, let alone higher ranking ones."
"Hahaha! No, you will win Aniki. That much I'm sure."
Kal frowned at those words. "How?" He couldn't help but ask.
"Because the arena doesn't allow the usage of Mana, Aura or Magicules. Only brute strength and techniques are allowed. And when it comes to those I don't think Aniki would lose even against the Ancient Dragons." Rei replied his grin somehow widening even more.
"I'm not so sure about the last part, but if Magiculse aren't allowed then my winning chances are high. But can you stop smiling like that? It's creepy."
"Ah sorry," Rei replied his expression turning sheepish.
"Well let's go then," Kal said and moved towards the arena.
"Now?" Rei asked hurriedly following him.
"Yes, no time is better than the current."
"Wait! Let me retrieve some coins from the bank."
"Why?" Kal questioned.
"Why of course to pace bets"
"You have enough coins for that in your pocket, if you still need more I can lend you some." Kal abruptly stopped, causing Rei collide on his back and stumbled. He turned and looked into Rei's eyes.
"Aniki, you don't get it." Rei controlled himself from falling as his wierd grin slowly crept back. "I want to place every single coin I have on the bet."
"What?! That's too risky!" Kal shouted, his superpowered voice shattering the nearby glasses and making Rei's ear drums burst and bleed.
Kal immediately shut his mouth and cursed himself. His old human habits always causing trouble.
"Sorry." He apologised, good thing there were no people besides Rei here or it would be disastrous. He would have been arrested on charges of attacking civilians.
"No need to apologise, Aniki. I know you didn't do it deliberately." Kal sighed at that before casting a Tier 2 healing spell.
"Let's move, the city guards should be arriving any moment," Kal said once he healed Rei. Rei nodded and they quickly moved towards the bank.
The moment they left the guards arrived on the scen, they tried to track the cause of the chaos but since Kal didn't use Magicules or its lesser variants Mana and Aura the guards weren't able to track him.
Unaware Rei and Kal approached the bank. Kal decided to wait outside as he wasn't in the mood to deal with those greedy goblins; A smart variation of the monster goblins, very similar to the Harry Potter series.
"I got the coins, Aniki. Let's head to the arena." After some time, Rei came out of the giant bank with a big pouch dangling on his waist.
Kal sighed. "I think you shouldn't di it, It's very stupid. You can buy a decent house in Orario or a luxurious one in any part of the world with that much money." He said pointing to the big pouch.
"By the way, why did you not get an expanded pouch," Kal asked.
"It is an expanded pouch," Rei replied nonchalantly.
"What? How many coins are in there?"
"A million."
"Huh? A million bronze coins? Why did you not take gold ones?" Kal asked confusedly, his gut sinking in a bad feeling.
"Who said they are bronze coins? They are~ gold coins."
"What?!" Kal nearly shouted. "How?"
"I took a loan…" Rei answered, his voice barely a whisper.
"Loan? No, you don't have enough credibility to get such a high loan. One needs to be at least an S-Rank or a landed Knight for bank to pass such a loan."
"Exactly," Rei said making Kal even more confused.
And seeing the confusion on Kal's face Rei explained.
"I took a loan in your name…"
"What? That's not how it works! How can you take a loan in someone else's name? Those goblins may be greedy but even they would not do that."
"Yeah… Aniki is right but I used this." Rei took out a crest, Kal's knighthood crest. "You standing outside the bank also helped. I just pointed at you and said you sent me here to get a loan."
"You did what?!!!" Kal didn't control his super voice this time. His voice blasted Rei back, rupturing his eardrums and breaking few of his bones.
"Agh" Rei groaned painfully but Kal didn't give him any mercy. He held the teen by the scuff of his neck and quickly left the area just in time to miss the city guards.
Kal didn't know his actions that day caused this whole case to become one of the mysteries of Orario. First of the many he will add in that folder.

Scene Break~

*Well well well! What do we have here?! Ladies and gentlemen and also the races of no gender!!! Our next challenger is an F Rank Adventurer named Kal!!!* The announcer's voice rang through out the arena after it calmed down from the previous fight. Once the announcement ended chorus displeased boing sounded from spectators.
An expected reaction after all they did not come here to watch some weak no name F Rank fight. They came here to watch the mortal combat of strong Adventurers and warriors
*Wahaha! Disappointed? I too was!!! Till I heard some motherfucker placed a million gold coins on the F Rank! One fucking million on a bloody no-name F Rank! Wahahaha!!!*
The crowd digested the announcer's words before they burst into a roaring feat.
"A million gold on an F Rank? Fuck!!!*
"Who is this stupid fuck!!!"
"I want to see his face!!!"
"It's definitely some nosy noble brat, Rahaha!!!"
"Fucking nobles!!!"
The crowd went berserk. Curses were spewed, bets were placed and hands were thrown. A million coins was a big number. Enough to get a nobility title.
Their wild curses and words were heard by the said stupid fuck who shrunk on his couch in embarrassment.
Rei looked from his private booth as the crowd became even wilder when Kal entered the arena.
Even though his strong physique was visible through his tight Kryptonian suit. The crowd can see his young and inexperienced face.
They knew Kal couldn't win against the Bloody Barren; the fat opponent standing adjacent to him.
Just as the crowd was ready for a massacre. The announcer's voice rang again, taking their shock to a level of disbelief.
*Ohh! I forgot one thing!!! The fucker has placed the bet not on one victory, not two, and not even three! But ten consecutive victories!!! Wahaha…!*
The last announcement broke the camel. Immediately the spectators ran to the betting chambers to raised their bets, some going even as far as betting their whole life savings. The wealthy merchants and nobles also did not lose to commoners. They also placed big numbers on Kal's loss.
The already staggering odds reached an unbelievable number. So much so that some insane greedy people betted on Kal's victory.
Some placed on one victory, some greedy ones placed on two or three consecutive victories. But there were also some crazy guys that betted on Kal's ten consecutive victories.
