Chapter 5: The Training (Ame's and Koru's)

Nora walks Koru through a garden, glancing at the flowers he notices a sign that says "Ame & Zoe".

"Who's is Zoe?" He thought, while Nora stops in front of him.

"We're here ." Nora says.

Koru stops just short of bumping into Nora.

"We're training here?' Koru remarks.

"Yes this is where the Fortune Sword was kept." Nora remarks.

They enter through the door, the dark room lights up as they go through. The room surrounded by wood the only object in the middle of the room is the broken glass case of where the Fortune Sword used to be. Nora walks towards the case and pushes a button and the case reveals a hidden door with stairs going down.

"Is it safe?" Koru thought to himself.

Koru backs away from Nora "Wait! Your not locking me up again are you?"

"No of course not." "You're going to wish you were." Nora said smilling.

"I don't trust that smile." Koru thought.

At the Yuuki house, Ame is still not pleased with the arrangement. Ame and her brother's familiar are sparring next to the prison Koru was in.

"Why couldn't I be with big brother!?" She yells as she shoots an arrow.

"It's because of your attitude! The familiar shouts back dodging the arrow.

"Shut it Zone ! You have no idea, what I have been through since he was gone!" Ame shoots two arrow as Zone dodges them.

Zone speeds up dodging as Ame starts shooting multiple arrows. Zone starts to glow yellow as sparks pulsate around her, equipping a spear made of electracy. Zone is now faster then Ame can shoot, Ame looks through her quiver for more arrows but there are none. Zone gains on Ame, bringing her spear close to Ame's neck. Aron steps in blocking Zone's spear with his sword.

"Yeah I guess I wouldn't either!" "From the look of your familiar!" Zone replies, making her weapon vanish.

Ame's rage unfolds, she snaps "Like your one to talk!" "Your my bro-" Aron cut her off, covering her mouth.

"You know what happens if you say that? Right Miss Ame?" Aron continued.

Ame pushes Aron's hand aside. "Fine take her side!" Ame says as she walks out of the room leaving Aron alone with Zone. Zone's face is contorted with guilt.

Nora is putting Koru through the ringer with building his stamina. He makes Koru build up his strenght to even swing his sword properly. After tweleve months Koru pushed through the training, his strikes seemed more natural, his sword felt light to him, and he was even holding his own against Nora.

"You have improved a lot." Nora says as he puts away his sword.

"Thanks." Koru says putting his sword away.

The door opened, they both turn to see Ame, Aron and Zone.

"It is time." Zone says.

They move to the living room.

The room grows dark again flames flicker on the ceiling and soon engulf the room opening a portal to the demon world.

"Are you ready?" Ame asks.

"Yeah I am." Koru replies.

They step into the portal.
