Odd One In
They say being a rich person is very easy, you can get whatever you want and you will happy for the rest of your life without facing any problems but that was not the case for Salish Kim, who constantly faced betrayals and back attacks mostly from those, whom she trusted more than herself. This is a story of a twenty-year-old girl, Salish Kim, whose life awaits a series of unexpected yet wonderful disastrous adventures coming up for her. She was dared to play one of the scariest paranormal games called “The Elevator Game” by her best friend who actually turned out to be her toxic bully and upon her dare, Salish wanted to complete the given task because it was special for her, it was given by her one and only best friend of eight years or that’s what she thought. Salish was still an extremely smart girl but an introvert. Her guts told her not to do it but her mind said something else. She decided to play the game on the tenth anniversary of father passing away to distract herself from the pain, sorrow and the worst memories which one would never want to remember again.
Her life wasn’t easy at any point. Having a wealthy father who left behind the biggest of his treasures for his one and only biological daughter and encountering her own relatives who only wanted her father’s money, and these relatives also include her own mother, Aunt, Cousins, Uncles, Stepfather and his two sons. Salish never got the love she deserved, the support she needed and the care and love she craved for after the death of her father. Although, she had learnt to be Strong when needed and smart where needed she was still a ten-year-old child by heart stuck in the body and mind of a mature lady of twenty.
Salish thought her day would be as normal as ever because she never believed in things such as parallel universe or theories saying that ghosts watch you when you sleep. But little did she know that all her ghost dreams which she saw every night, of a man in black suit and pale skin searching for her was soon to become a reality and she would open up the gate for herself to enter another world. A world far away from her home. A world from which, she could maybe never return. A world of the heavenly cruelty of afterlife, a world where the dead come alive. A world of nightmares, a world of vengeance.
And just like that, Salish Kim took the challenge to survive. To survive a remote world with zero knowledge about her newly formed surroundings. A world of magic, a world of power where one’s blood define someone.
Her species were obliviously odd one out for the residents of those planet but because of her, being the first ever person to enter that world of nothing, made her the Odd One In.
Leaving her life in the hands of faith she takes a small step ahead and embarks on her journey and she comes across many familiar faces who died a long time ago and then it clicked her……. “I-I am… in another universe? No, no, no! it can never happen! It’s a lie, it’s all a lie!!” she says just before she realizes, she was completely drenched in a water like substance and darkness consumed her. She fell in the arms of someone and just then, “Stay away from that girl! It’s the king’s order!” Shouted a solider. “But who is she? Why is she so small? And-” The man who held her in his arms was shushed by the solider. “She is the king’s daughter” Said the solider. To be continued.
