"Wait, is he the guy you've been waiting for, Mae dear?"

When Devon asked this question I looked btw him and Eric before I nodded.

. For the first time since I met Eric, he looked vulnerable.

"Well, it was nice talking to you sweetheart," he said before taking my hand to kiss.

Devon smirked seeing the blush on my cheeks I hope. Eric didn't see that.

"If you are going to be with this man right here I guarantee we will meet again". With a heartwarming smile, he said goodbye and finally left not sparing Eric a glance. For some reason, no matter the bad talk he and Eric had I felt safe with his presence almost like the safety of home

"How are you sweety," Eric asked wrapping his arms around me in a hug. If I didn't see it myself I would never have believed it. the same Eric that looked threatened a few minutes ago now look like nothing happened how good is he at masking his emotions.?

"I have a little surprise for you " he said taking both my hand to kiss.

"What surprise? " I asked feeling a tinge of excitement I knew whatever it was I was going to love it. After I told Eric I got a new job we met once and I almost confessed my love for him but then I got scared thinking all I hard for him was just attraction and obsession with his good looks I wished Eric would rather tell me what he felt other than looking at me like I am the most delicious meal ever made all the time.

After we left the plaza we went to a motel not far away, paid the front desk, and were led to a room at the far end corner beside the door there is a glass wall that enables you to view the whole city what a beautiful sight I thought

Entering the room I could not help but gasp, the room was so spacious like in a penthouse found in five-star hotels all the furniture looked so expensive I bit back a giggle as I was excited to have seen something as beautiful as this.

There was a dressing room and a restroom in the corner of the room.

"You like what you see?" Eric finally spoke he came forward and hugged me from behind, I could feel his hot breath on my neck.

Turning to face him I saw his eyes change from silver to red like he was struggling to tame something within him.

"Can I kiss you kitten?" He asked and without waiting for a reply pressed his lips on mine devouring and swallowing me whole.

He held my hand and placed it on his chest, I could feel his heart beat so loud his breathing had become irregular, and his chest was beating fast with my hand still on his chest I think he was trying to tell me how much his heartbeat for me and that made me feel flattered.

He moved a fraction away and whispered against my lips.

"Open for me kitten I have dreamt of doing this so many times." he raised his head to see .my eyes and I'm sure he had seen the uncertainty but still crushed his lips on mine his tongue was caressing the seam of my lips as if it was begging for something and my lips parted on its own

His kiss became urgent and he began to fight for dominance.

Stealing my breath away he kept me close as his one hand was gripping my waist and the other caressing my upper thigh I released a soft moan as I felt his lips moving to my neck and down to my chest.
