The Annaye were once a powerful and mighty clan ruling over thousands conquering and defending their family and pride over centuries. They were always just and merciful to their people but merciless and cold to their enemies. However, one day a devastating catastrophe killed the majority of their clan and the few survivors were forced to flee and live in bitterness. They were forced to to watch the perpetrators using the Annaye's most priced possession, their wings, as cultivation resources. They were forced to watch how the lasts of the Annaye's were hunted down and massacred. They were forced to observe as the world slowly forgot about the tragedy. And lastly, they were forced to know that their enemies will remain unscathed and powerful despite them killing millions. Many years later a girl awoke from a long sleep carrying with her the last memories of her race.
