Zhou Yun is a spoiled noble brat with a passion for drawing who has never suffered even the tiniest bit in the 15 years of his life, but one day, he makes a single mistake and offends a powerful cultivator who massacres his family. He is blinded in the chase and barely manages to survive only to be tossed away and abandoned by all who he meets.
This cold environment hardens this blind boy's heart as he struggles to cultivate.
One day, as Zhou Yun sat there, he suddenly saw a blurry blue ball of light. He reached out to touch it but his hand went right through the light. What could this light be? Could it be the essence that everyone has been talking about?

Hey, Author here,
I'm actually not much different that you guys. A couple days ago, I was just another reader; however, I had an idea about a story and found nothing like it so I decided to try to write it out. The writing may not be the best, but please bear with it. I will strive to improve so the quality gets better every chapter.
A couple disclaimers:
The story starts off pretty slow so be patient.
I'm also trying not to give the main character too much plot armor so if you're seeking a quick read with face slapping and extremely quick power growth, this is not the read.
No harems and little romance cause I myself don't have experience and will ruin the novel if I try to add it.
This is my first time writing a novel so my writing might not flow well. Just skim and focus on the plot.
Upload speed will vary from daily to weekly.
I will make mistakes so if you see any, you can comment it and I'll try my best to correct them.
