Chapter 1-Awakening to the impossible

Previously: "Griffin, I'm a griffin so that what I am, ok and you are?" it asked in meek voice. I took a deep breath and decided to be calm.

"I'm a human and why do you act as if you don't that you're griffin?" I tried to say calmly but my voice still kinda shook, it tilted its head to the side to look at me.

"Oh simple cause I didn't know I was griffin, come to think of it I don't know my own name, I don't remember anything apart from waking up and see you in this cave." it said simply while playing around

Before I could answer the cave began to crumple around us I..............

The griffin beside me started to panic and scream.

"We're gonna die‼ we are going to die and I don't even know anything about myself I'm going before evening knowing my own name and how I got here‼ I don't wanna die‼" It started to cry, I thought griffins were strong independent animals it almost made me wanna laugh.

Infact I did I laughed its panicking was hilarious even though I was about to met an untimely death who wouldn't wanna die laughing or happy I know I want to, while I was laughing the griffin turned to look at me like I was crazy.

"We are about to die and you are laughing?! If I was going Lord why trap me with so crazy lady I must have been a villain in my past life or something, cause come on if not why would I be in such situation! If anyone is listening I'm sorry I don't wanna die!" It said in a panicked state.

I giggled again but he is right I don't wanna die either, "Hey griffin, how about instead of running around screaming we find a way outta here!" I said but quite nervous it nodded.

"Yeah, yeah that could work let's find a way out of here." it said trying its best to calm down.

We began to look round the cave for a way out but it crumbling at the last moment when we thought there was no hope I say light it's down the path sunlight, that's our way out. I grabbed the griffin and ran towards the light and out the cave, we slumped with relieve.

"We survived, yeah, I'm alive thank you um, what's your name?' It asked me my name.

"Haha, we made it this far but we don't even know each other names, ok well I'm Cora Bloom and you are?" I asked it gave me a confused look.

"Come on don't stop there I am? tell me." it said shaking its head at me, I face-palmed myself it doesn't understand.

"I mean what is your name?"it nodded thank God.

"Oh yeah, my name um my name um is um I can't remember my name." It said with a grim expression.

Shit this thing doesn't know its own name or anything about itself, poor thing.

"I'll name if you want?" it looked up with a happy expression.

"You will?" it raised it head at me and smiled back.

"Sure, um are you a guy or a girl?" it looked me with expectant eyes stop for a moment and started looking in between its hind leg.

"What are you doing?" I said giving it a weird look.

"Checking." It said raised its head then went back to looking again.

"Checking what?" I said well questioned.

"If I'm male or female." It said simply.

"Shouldn't you have known or at least have checked earlier." I said and sorta asked.

"First of all I didn't know cause I've lost my memory and two why would I have checked earlier, earlier the cave was crumbling and before that I was asleep, I don't know about you but I do not check where the sun don't shine when I wake up neither do I feel myself so I wouldn't know my gender I am no pervert, you would know cause you have your memory or because of the two big tangerines attached to your chest so if I check there is nothing wrong with that, oh and by the way I am a male." It said in a matter fact voice then sizing my up and down with a sour expression.

My hands wanted to cover my chest by instinct but I refused to do so, "First of all I am no pervert either and secondly stop eye raping." I raised my voice a bit at him. (yep I finally know the gender so I won't call it anymore)

"Yeah, right like I'd do that as I told you before I am no pervert, Now name me." It yelled right back.

I rolled my eyes at him and looked him in the eye, It sorta looked like Jasper's eyes from twilight, if I'm dreaming I wish I was in twilight in Bella's place but I'm team Jacob, okay back to a name for him Jasper I'll call it Jasper.

"Jasper, I'll call you Jasper."I smiled at he seemed to think about it from a while then nodded.

"Jasper is good, it could work, when then Jasper here and I am at your service my lady." He bowed when he raised he gave me a goofy grin I laughed.

"I think this is the begin of a beautiful friendship." I beamed at him.

"Corper against the world." It said and hopped in a circle around me then he took flight and landed on my shoulder.

"Corper, seriously, haha, fine it could work, so where do we go." I said as I rolled my eyes at the ship name Corper seriously then I laughed.

"I don't know but I suggest you start walking, while I'll be taking a nap on your shoulders. He said then laid himself on my shoulder like a shawl.

I shook my head and rolled my eyes, "Idiot." I said it open one eye looked at me closed it then fell asleep and I started walking.

I kept walking soon I was in a forest and I kept going until I heard a painful whimper coming from somewhere in the woods it brought to a halt, it was so loud that it woke Jasper up it kept getting worse, I......

Boom‼ another cliffhanger what was that whimper and what will Cora and Jasper do.
