Infinite Power System: Dual Cultivation

As Renxian stirred from his slumber, his headache still etched on him, he discovered himself situated within a dense forest. The woods exuded a natural fragrance that enveloped the entire area, and it all felt so vivid, almost like a dream, as his fingers brushed against the grass and he leaned himself on the massive tree trunk behind him.

"What on earth? Where am I?" he muttered under his breath, turning his head to survey the untamed surroundings.

"This doesn't seem right," he softly commented, "I've never ventured into a forest before!" As he attempted to stand, he observed something even more peculiar.

The clothes he wore seemed so old and traditional, where were his simple black clothes? His cerulean irises widened as he knew this wasn't himself - the white skin, the straight raven hair that cascaded through his shoulder, and the muscular figure, this was so not him!

The first reaction to this is he stood abruptly, his expression laden with a mixture of bewilderment and nervousness, he couldn't fathom what had happened. He vaguely heard the flow of water not too far from where he was, hurriedly heading toward the source of the sound.

Reaching behind the thick bushes, he had to cut through the vegetation until he saw a river with a beautiful view. The sunlight seemed to sparkle in the water, leaving the man rooted to the spot - he had never seen like this before. Where the colorful flower seemed to dance in the breeze.

As the feeble steps approached the river, the man saw a mirror of himself. The handsome face he did not recognize was now reflected in the water, a face that he could not believe was himself. His fingers began to trace the contours of his complexion, from the robust jawline to the thick eyebrows.

"Not, it can't be," he stumbled backward, didn't believe what he saw. "Why have I become so attractive!" He shouted and ruffled his hair.

For a second later, he heard a brief sound from somewhere. As he searched for the source of the stagnant sound, he was startled by a transparent hologram that appeared right in front of him. There, he could see an inscription that read "System Installed." which made the situation even more chaotic.

"What is this?" He tried to touch the hologram; he had no idea where it came from. "Is this real?"

Indeed, his hand went through it like it was an illusion. "As I thought, this is absurd." To confirm this, the man rubbed his eyes.

[Welcome to the world of Nusa, Renxian!]

Jumping up in shock, the man named Renxian was landing back on the dirt. "Who's there?" Panic filled the expression on his face as he looked back and forth to seek the female human voice.

[I'm here to become your assistant. Feel free to ask!]

A few minutes later he figured out where the voice was coming from, which turned out to be the hologram. Was this some kind of AI robot that helped make human work easier?

Without thinking further, he, who was confused by his appearance in the middle of nowhere, began to ask, "How did I come here? Do you know anything?"

[Yes, you were transmigrated to this world.]

He furrowed his eyebrows and exclaimed, "Don't fool around, there is no way that kind of circumstance happened to me."

"I mean," he added and looked down, "it appeared in the fiction book that I used to read back then. But, didn't I fall asleep after I read the book? The cultivation book?"

[Yes, isn't it a dream to come true?]

Renxian was even more confused. "So this is a dream in my mind that I control myself?"

[Your soul is now in this realm. You live in this world with the name of Renxian, a rogue cultivator.]

"Wait, wait, wait," he shook his head and tried to summarize the information he had earned. "I'm lost right now, let me make this straight."

Renxian took a deep breath before speaking out, "So, I fell asleep, then you brought me to the world of—what was it? Nusa? And live in this realm as Renxian, the rogue cultivator, is that it?"

[Right on the spot!]

Renxian was silent for a moment. He knew in cultivation books that events like reincarnation or transmigration from one soul to another were common. But, he never thought that there would be this kind of AI robot. Still in a curious state, he again questioned, "What are you?"

Renxian was taken aback and looked upward at the hologram, his expression full of wonder. "Don't tell me, that dual cultivation, is to seek someone to have sex with?"

[Yes, and you are here to replace his main task.]

The black-haired man was frozen, speechless as he now couldn't believe that he was here to do something he had never even done before. Why was this Renxian so stupid not to be interested in such intercourse and make this transmigration not happen? But come to think of it, this was a win-win situation for him.

"Eh?" Renxian who was about to walk halted in an instant. "You don't want to assist me?"

[There is a map in your robes that can track down the area. Use it to enhance your navigation skills too.]

The dark-haired man cleared his throat and sighed as he picked up the scroll he kept under his faded blue clothes and it looked old, some of the corners were torn - Renxian looked at it carefully. There was a circular mark there, marking his current location. As well as animals drawn in some corners were made Renxian enlightened.

With an unchanging expression, he returned the folder to its clothes and hastened northward, the direction of Bloodtusk's whereabouts. His expedition took him through ever-thickening foliage, where the flora thrived colossal, replacing the once beautiful flowers with towering, noxious fungi.

Eerie sounds soon filled the air, unmistakably belonging to Bloodtusk. With a voice akin to a boar, Renxian homed in on their location. Curses under his breath, he couldn't have foreseen that these were no regular creatures of standard size. Amid the Bloodtusk crowd, one behemoth stood out, its body stretching nearly four meters amidst the smaller brethren.

"What is this? Do I have to confront that boss?" Renxian inquired in a hushed tone from his hiding place behind a tree.

[Yes, I will assist you with some information. Bloodtusk is fond of these mushrooms; lure them one by one if you're not sure you can handle them all at once.]

"Ah, I see," he responded with a broad smile, "I remembered that I wanted to demonstrate my skills!"

With an audacious step forward, he confidently revealed himself, diverting the entire attention of the Bloodtusk creatures, especially the colossal one. Their breaths filled the air as they readied to charge toward Renxian with their menacing upward fangs exposed.

"Am I not Renxian, a high-level cultivator myself?"
