Chapter 11

The Bandits !

It was already two days since they are travelling in fast pace and the travelling was smooth with no appearance of dangers so the mood was calm and peaceful but as the group moved forward they felt uneasy suddenly .

Even Aaron felt something wasn't right but he ultimately gave warning to Sarah .

"There must be bandits nearby . Tell everyone to keep their guards up"

Sarah looked at him and said with a grin

"Sir Duke don't worry as long as those bandits dare to come then they won't leave here from alive"

Seeing her confidence he became silent and soon they traveled in slow pace while the atmosphere become serious .

DANG!

A arrow flew towards Sarah intending to stab her head but her reflex was faster . She raised her shield immediately and at the same time she yelled

"Danger ! Everyone defend "

Hearing this the female soldiers immediately took out their shield and covered it in while observing their surroundings slowly.

Soon barge of arrows fired at them but there was no single damage except the panic of slaves . Aaron who was in carriage became silent and he gripped a hardwood bow slowly.

He may not be proficient in sword or spear but he was good at using bows so he secretly brought this weapon with him for any dangers.

Luckily the carriage was made of Strong material or else the Arrow would have penetrated the carriage . The barge of arrows soon ended and next the sound of people rushing could be heard which made the atmosphere chilly and killing intent.

The Female Knights didn't panic but they had a calm look on their face . Seeing that there was no arrows coming she raised her shields and held her hammer tightly.

Soon the people came towards them while holding weapon with vicious intent . These people had leather armour and face covered with black clothes which proved that they were bandits .

There was 13 bandits and the leader had a bloody axe in his hand . He said with mocking voice

"A group of woman who dosent even know what the world is now holding weapon to fight "

Behind him his Lackey mocked loudly

"They can only serve us men . Do they even know how to fight ?"

"Yeah damm we will get both money and women this time "

"Yes but boss let us brother enjoy too . Don't break them after using them"

"hahaha ....don't worry we have plenty here we xan slowly enjoy"

"Ye-"

When they were laughing and mocking a arrow suddenly pierced at the bandit neck . Blood spurted out and he died with wide eyes , Seeing someone from their group dying the bandit become furious . He looked at the Bowman and saw a handsom man came out of the carriage while holding the bow looking at him coldly.

The one who shot the arrow was obviously Aaron since he couldn't stand their disgusting words . He immediately notched another arrow and said to Sarah with cold voice

"Leave no one alive ...Kill them all"

The bandit boss become angry and said coldly to his Lackey

"Kill that b@stard first then capture the woman "

"Killlll"

They charged at them with bloodthirsty but these Bandits are too foolish . They have 13 ..no only 12 person who are wearing leather armour charging at the light armoured knights who had twice the number than the bandit .

Sarah gave a glare to the incoming enemy and said loudly

"You cowards only know to ambush"

As she said she charged first while her pet loudly roared which made many bandits shook in fear .

"Protect the Duke . Kill everyone "

"Kill "

The female soldiers immediately charged at the bandits and soon it was one sided slaughter . After a minute only the bandit boss was having his last breath fell to the ground in regret .

He robbed many nobles too and they didn't encounter so much problem which made them arrogant . When these bandits saw a group of knights they first thought was to retreat since they had more numbes compared to them but when the knights get closer the bandits finally saw that they are only female knights which made these arrogant bandits to filled with Lust and greed. There greed and arrogance made them fell that these groups of female knights are only here for to get experience so they decided to set up ambush . The bandit boss didn't even to check after the arrows were shots instead he blindly charged which made them die with regrets.

Before dying he cursed at them with hatred and unwillingness .

After all this , Aaron thought the female soldiers would cheer but their serious and caution made him surprised .

He said to Sarah who was behind him without truning back

"Any casualties?"

Sarah who wiping out blood from her axe said with disdain

"Sir Duke these garbage are not qualified to make us injured "

Aaron smiled and praised without holding back

"You guys are more powerful than the imperial guard ! I'm relived that you guys are willing to follow me."

Sarah shook her head and said

"Sir Duke, Its we should feel grateful for letting us joining your journey . Unlike other who thinks we will be burden and useless , you didn't see that way instead you accepted. So we are willing to follow you to death"

Hearing this He was stunned , He became silent and went inside the carriage while saying with low voice

"Let's move on ...Before night we need to find a safe place to camp"

Sarah nodded and ordered her people to move on while mounting on her pet.

Soon they started their travel in fast pace but this time the atmosphere was calm and peaceful unlike before which had chilling temperature .

Even through they were going further away from the blaze Kingdom territory , Aaron felt uneasy which made him feel that some crisis is going to happen .

He looked outside the window and said with uncertainty

"I hope its just false alarm...."

It was going to be night soon , a perfect chance for him to escape but he has still some nights left so he closed his eyes and fell asleep .
