The Pocket That Never Ends

Ash stood frozen by the door, staring down at his empty pocket in disbelief. His phone wasn't there, and he clearly remembered putting it in just a second ago. He frowned and patted the pocket again, trying to feel for anything. His fingers brushed against the fabric, but something was different. The pocket didn't feel like it should.

With a puzzled look, Ash slipped his hand deeper into the pocket, expecting to feel the usual bottom where the seam should be. But his hand kept going. And going.

"What the…?" he muttered, eyes wide as his arm disappeared up to his elbow inside his pocket. "There's no end?"

He quickly yanked his hand out and looked down at the pocket. It looked normal, like any other pocket on his pants. But that didn't make sense. He had just stuck his whole arm inside it!

Ash shoved his hand back into the pocket, and again, it sank far deeper than it should have. He pulled it out and put it back in a few more times, each time with the same result. The pocket stretched endlessly, like it was some kind of bottomless void.

"Is this… my cheat? My ability?" he whispered, heart racing. He'd heard of people getting special abilities when transmigrated, but he hadn't felt anything until now. "Endless pockets?" He frowned, still unsure if he was dreaming or if this was real.

Suddenly, his fingers brushed against something familiar inside the pocket. He grabbed hold of it and pulled it out—it was his phone.

"Oh, thank God," Ash sighed in relief, but the shock of the pocket hadn't worn off. He stared at the phone, then at his pocket, his mind racing. "Wait… so I can store things in here? Like a… like a dimensional pocket?"

Curiosity overtook him. He shoved his hand back into the pocket, this time thinking about pulling something else out. As his fingers moved through the strange, endless space, they suddenly touched something unexpected—a smooth, lightweight object. He grasped it and slowly pulled it out.

In his hand was a small, yellow gadget with two little helicopter blades on top. It looked exactly like something out of his favorite childhood show.

"Is this…?" Ash blinked, staring at the gadget in disbelief. He recognized it instantly. "No way. It's the bamboo copter from Doraemon! The Take-copter!"

The gadget was just as he remembered it—small, round, and lightweight, with a little handle at the bottom. The blades were made of a shiny material, and it seemed to hum slightly in his hand, as if it were filled with some kind of energy. It was the classic gadget from the show, used to fly anywhere by sticking it on your head.

Ash's jaw dropped. "Did I just… pull out Doraemon's gadget? From my pocket?"

He looked between the gadget and his seemingly ordinary pants pocket, his mind reeling. "I've got Doraemon's pocket?!"

It all started to click into place. The endless space, the ability to pull out random items—it was just like Doraemon's four-dimensional pocket. The pocket that could hold anything, anytime, anywhere.

"If I have that pocket," Ash whispered, his heart pounding, "then this changes everything."

A grin spread across his face as he realized the possibilities. If he had access to all of Doraemon's gadgets, the entire world was open to him. He could solve so many problems, and survive through this dangerous world far more easily. He had a power that no one else in this universe had, and it was all tucked away in his pocket.

Eager to test his theory, Ash stuck his hand into the pocket again, thinking about another Doraemon gadget. His fingers brushed against something small and metallic, and he pulled it out. This time, it was the "Anywhere Door," a full-sized pink door that, when opened, could take you to any location you wanted.

Ash's grin widened. "This is real. This is actually happening."

He couldn't believe his luck. Out of all the cheat abilities he could've gotten, he'd somehow ended up with one that could give him access to nearly anything. Doraemon's gadgets were famous for their versatility—they could do everything from helping with daily life to solving big problems in an instant.

Ash started pulling out more gadgets, his excitement growing by the second. There was the "Time Cloth," a piece of fabric that could reverse or fast-forward time on anything it touched. Then came the "Memory Bread," which could instantly transfer knowledge to someone just by eating it. And, of course, the "Small Light," a gadget that could shrink objects or people to a tiny size.

He tested each one, making sure they worked just like they did in the show. And sure enough, every gadget functioned perfectly. The Small Light shrunk a chair down to the size of a pebble, and the Time Cloth made an old magazine look brand new.

Ash laughed out loud, unable to contain his excitement. "This is unbelievable! I've got everything I could ever need!"

The potential of what he could do with these gadgets was mind-boggling. He could simplify so many challenges, help himself out of any tricky situation, or just live comfortably without much effort. He had the tools to live in the world of Marvel in ways no one else could even imagine.

But then, as the excitement started to settle, a voice in the back of his mind reminded him to be careful. Ash took a deep breath, trying to calm down. He couldn't let the power go to his head. He had to be smart about this.

"Okay, okay, calm down," he told himself, setting the gadgets aside. "I shouldn't get ahead of myself. I need to start small. Figure things out slowly."

Even though he was bursting with excitement, he knew he had to play it safe. He couldn't just jump into dangerous situations with vigilantes and villains or mess with time and space without thinking things through. This world was still risky, and there were consequences for getting reckless.

Ash chuckled to himself, feeling a little giddy. "Still, having Doraemon's pocket in a world like this… I could pretty much do whatever I need to."

He looked down at his clothes, thinking about one last thing to test. Was this endless pocket tied to his current outfit, or could he access it from any clothing he wore?

With a smirk, he headed to his closet and pulled out a different pair of pants. He quickly changed, eager to see if the pocket still worked. As soon as he put on the new pair, he reached into the pocket, and sure enough, his hand disappeared into the same bottomless void.

"Ha! It works!" Ash said triumphantly, pulling out the Take-copter again. "I can use it from any clothes."

He repeated the process with different jackets, pants, even a hoodie. Each time, the pocket worked flawlessly, giving him access to the endless stash of gadgets. He felt like a kid in a candy store, overwhelmed by the sheer coolness of it all.

Ash stood in front of the mirror, looking at his reflection with a grin. "So, what now?" he asked himself, the thrill of the situation bubbling up inside him.

He started to think about all the things he could do with the gadgets. "I could handle all sorts of situations," he mused. "Handle small stuff, figure things out at my own pace. There's no need to rush."

But then, he shook his head and laughed. "Okay, don't get too carried away. One step at a time."

As he thought about his next move, an idea popped into his head. "Now that I'm in a new world and a new life, I think I need the perfect body to match." He giggled to himself at the thought.

With a grin, Ash slipped his hand back into the pocket, his fingers searching for a specific gadget. He didn't know exactly what he'd pull out, but he was sure it would be something amazing. As his hand grasped something small and round, his heart raced in anticipation.

But before he could pull it out, the chapter ended, leaving the reveal for next time.

A/N: Can anyone guess which gadgets he's going to take out?

Enjoy ✌️.
