Chapter 16- I am a friend of Cale

Simon was now walking towards the Henituse Estate. He was wearing his hat but the passerby people still stared at him.

He was wearing the finest clothes he had. The hat gave him a mysterious vibe and he was literally shining in the eyes of others.

The eyes looked at Simon as they said

'This kid is insane, Man'

The people couldn't figure out his identity. Simon seemed too much for even them.

Some of the women thought they would have easily fallen for the boy if they were younger.

Leaving such things aside, Simon kept walking. He had done everything necessary paperworks with John this morning.

It was the noon of the 5th April. He was now officially Simon. Just Simon.

He walked towards a few carriages parked in front of the Estate. The guards were confused at the approaching handsome young man.

They looked at each other and were ready to stop Simon. Just as they were about to speak, Vice captain Hilsman came there.

The guards were surprised and quickly greeted Hilsman. Hilsman nodded at them and went towards Simon. He said with a smile.

"You must be Young Master-nim's guest. Welcome. I am Vice captain Hilsman. Young Master-nim is there."

The guards immediately stopped going near Simon. They heard he was a guest of Cale and they thought that Simon was similar to Cale.

Both were handsome, Looking from the clothes Simon seemed rich too. So they made a decision to avoid Simon.

Simon also nodded at Hilsman and followed him.

He then saw Cale talking with Choi Han. The cats were around them.

Simon smiled and went there. Cale seemed to have noticed him and also finished his talk with Choi Han.

Choi Han looked at Simon and wondered his identity. Cale was about to speak but Simon spoke first.

"Hello, My name is Simon. You can call me Simon. I am a friend of Cale."

Choi Han looked at Simon and introduced himself.

"Choi Han."

Although short but Simon could see Choi Han being respectful. Probably because he was a friend of Cale. It didn't matter tho.

Simon looked at the Cats that were staring at them. Cale probably did not tell them I would be coming. A habit of Cale.

They were shocked. Simon stopped looking at them as he turned towards Cale.

"When are we leaving?"

"Now. Get on. We need to discuss somethings."

Simon nodded to Cale. Choi Han asked Cale if he could come but was denied.

Simon knew Choi Han was jealous of him. Hehe, If he ever found someone that has read TCF, Simon would brag that Choi Han was jealous of him.

It might set the hearts of Choi stans aflame with jealousy.

Cale ordered Hilsman(who also was denied of getting on the same carriage as Cale) that they would move.

Hilsman went to inform others as Simon, Cale, On, and Hong got on the carriage.

Cale grumbled that the cats had better seat than him and Simon sat on one side of the carriage.

Cale sat on the side with the cats as the carriages moved.

-Cale POV-

I got on the carriage with the cats and Simon. He looked at the cats and looked at me.

I opened my mouth.

" Listen, We wil be going through the Viscount Tolz's territory. Then we will stop at Puzzle city where we will split with Chpi Han and finally go to the Capital straight."

He nodded and opened his mouth.

"Will you be killing someone?"

The cats flinched and I frowned at the question. Why is he asking if I will kill someone? Why would I kill someone?

Before I could say anything, He continued.

"Choi Han. I get the feeling that he is strong. Not based on any reason but gives me the feeling of not to mess with him. Not just him your butler too."

'This punk'

"Since he is strong and we will be splitting up before reaching the Capital. You brought someone strong with you. You must have a reason. The other place you mentioned, It might be where he will do work for you and after that We will split."

'He is smart'

He gave me a look that seemed to ask 'Am I right?'

I shook my head. The cats relaxed at Simon's explanation. I replied.

"No we won't kill anyone. Do you remember Arm? Don't you think we should take a revenge on them?"

He smirked at me. But he also had a confused expression for a moment. It was not anything important so I just shrugged.

Simon and John went to the office related to family n stuff. John did some formalities and Simon was asked if he was sure that this wasn't forced.

Simon learned that although Middle-aged, The government no the ruling system was pretty good. They asked if he was being forced or anything.

Of course Simon denied most of the things. He could screw John but that would keep him busy for too long. He dealt with stuff fast.

Lesson we learn: Don't compare which is good, A Monarch or Government. Or Technoblade will overthrow both.
