Ch 12

Once I reached the benches again I look around and saw that no one was around I sat down.

Seeing that I'm alone and have nothing to do to pass the time as Lucoa still has my phone so I took out a journal from my bag that's filled with notes that the old Shouta made about ritual magic.

Looking at the notes that should have looked like gibberish to me with many things overlapping each other along with things being circled, crossed out, blacked-out areas, and many notes and drawings written all over the pages out of order but I understood everything on them with no problem.

It seems along with the old Shouta memories I also inherited his genius-level talent in ritual magic as I can understand everything in the notes and have ideas on how to improve what's written on them.

Looking through the notes I saw the most recent notes are on the familiar summoning ritual that the old Shouta used and after going through the ritual I added some new notes on the pages to not allow other things to be summoned and ideas on how to range the level of what is being called upon better.

After adding those notes I turned to a new blank page and started to write up a new familiar summoning ritual as the old one is a no-go as I need to make new calculations unless I want to wait a year to use it again.

Starting to think of new ideas to add to the summoning part of the ritual as I don't need to alter the familiar part right now so I just forced on the summoning part as I don't want the same mistake as Lucoa to occur once again.

Let see if I want to alter the ritual I need to focus on the spell formula and the ritual materials.

Thinking about the summoning rituals I know I need to summon a high-level demon or devil but I also need to think about what kind of familiar I should summon from the demon or devil family.

I need a familiar that can protect me so I need a fighter, tank, or a destructive magic-user so I should look up the family crest of high-level families in the underworld that fit one or two of those roles.

When I chose the family crest of the demon or devil I want to summon I should put it in the middle of the ritual circle I'm using for the summoning formula and as for materials that can wait until I get home as I need to look over the high-level families information to see what the best materials.

After coming up with a rough draft of the new familiar summoning ritual I'm making I put away my journal as I started to hear footsteps coming my way.

Hearing the footsteps I looked up and saw a silver hair woman entering the school building, what stood out to me is she's wearing a black military uniform with a white cape that the people of Magical Deck wear along with a rose print eye pack on her right eye.

Seeing her I didn't move as she doesn't seem to be releasing anything dangerous no pressure, bloodlust, or magic but she is releasing a cheerful and calm aura that Lucoa usually releasing but that doesn't mean I have my guard down as I'm ready to use the familiar bond I have with Lucoa to call her if needed.

The silver hair woman who was walking into the school building walked up to me and started to me with an over-friendly tone of voice like she was trying to flirt with me.

"Hello, Handsome, I'm Diamond, I'm looking for my friends, have you seen a tall man with long orange hair in a low ponytail or a petite blond boy by chance." Diamond

Hearing her name it's obvious now that she's with Magical Deck and the only tall long orange hair man I know of is Spade while the petite blond boy is Nanahoshi.

Knowing she's here for them so openly makes me wonder what she's playing at so I answered her with a white lie as Magical Deck and her don't know I have a relationship with Spade or Nanahoshi so she won't expect me to lie.

"Can you be more clear, you're in a middle school with multiple petite blond boys in it, and for the tall long orange hair man never seen one in this school." Shouta

Hearing my reply she was stumped by the first part of my sentence as she seemed to forget we're in middle school but she continued to talk to me after a bit.

"Oh, then can you point me to the nearest petite blond boy." Diamond

Hearing her words I feel like calling the FBI but as I don't have my phone I just moved away from her.

Seeing my actions Diamond looked at me with a confused expression before she seemed to realize that I misunderstood her words, which I didn't as I know what she's after it's just she could choose her words better.

"Oh, you seem to misunderstand, you naughty boy, I'm just looking for my friends I'm not a shotacon or anything." Diamond

I don't buy it.

"Oh, okay, then what's the petite blond boy's name." Shouta

Hearing my question, that I asked in a deadpan voice, she opened her mouth to answer but stopped midway through.

Seeing her not talking I started to walk away while raising my voice acting like I'm trying to get a teacher's attention.

"Teacher, there's a shotacon woman on school grounds!" Shouta

Hearing my words Diamond shows an awkward face and she seemed to want to speak up to stop me but the flat-chested teacher that was stopping Lucoa and my lone time came from the hallway and seeing me call out for help and the weirdly dressed woman she took out her phone and speed dial the police.

"Hello, police, I'm a teacher from Watermelon Junior High a pervert shotacon woman is trying to take advantage of one of my students.

...

Okay, I'll stay on the line just in case." Flat-Chested Teacher

After she was finished speaking I heard police sirens coming to the school and Diamond hearing them as well just should a helpless experience before running out of the school before leaving our sight.

The flat-chested teacher seeing Diamond's actions started to talk into her phone once more.

"Umm, the pervert shotacon woman just ran away, she seems to be running north." Flat-Chested Teacher

After the flat-chested teacher reported on Diamond's actions she hanged up her phone after a bit of talking before meeting up with the police that came outside of the school and I had to follow along to give a report as well as I was a victim of said pervert shotacon woman that entered the school unexpectedly.

Once we were done reporting to the police the flat-chested teacher went back to her work as I returned and waited for Lucoa at the benches once more.

As I went to the benches I saw Nanahoshi walking towards me.

Seeing Nanahoshi I thought he was quite lucky to mess all the drama I had to deal with because of him and Spade.

Seeing Nanahoshi walked up to me with Spade popping out his loin plushie's head from Nanahoshi's school bag.

Once he reached me Nanahoshi started up a conversation with me.

"Magatsuchi, you're still here, I thought Lucoa and you be home by now. Also what just happened I saw police cars outside from the classroom window." Nanahoshi

"Yeah, no. Lucoa was dragged away to work so I'm waiting for her and for the police cars a member of Magical Deck was here looking for you and Spade but a teacher called the police saying she was a pervert shotacon woman making her run away." Shouta

Hearing my statement about Diamond Spade was the next to speak.

"Was she Diamond?" Spade

"Yes, how did you know." Shouta

"This isn't the first time this kind of situation happened to her and as I'm not around to keep her in check the other in Magical Deck might be having a hard time keeping her in check." Spade

Hearing his answer I felt wired and thought of Lucoa in the manga/anime when she's going out in skimpy clothing before being dragged away to be changed by some woman.

Lucoa and Diamond might become good friends if they meet each other.

After thinking for a bit about the two having a possible friendship I turn my attention back to Nanahoshi and Spade as they kept me company until Lucoa was finished with work.

Once Lucoa returns to my side after all her work was done she jumped on me making me take a step back as I caught her.

After I caught Lucoa we gave each other a short kiss before going home with Nanahoshi and Spade following us closely.

As we walked Spade started to tell us about his day when he was separated from Nanahoshi.

It seems the reason he wasn't in Nanahoshi's school bag was that he went to get the big hair bowtie that fell out of the bag and before he met up with Nanahoshi during the lunch break he also seemed to have entered a fight with Magical Deck members' familiars that are moving in secret around the school.

Hearing how his day was I praised him for his hard work as Nanahoshi and Lucoa followed alone.

After walking for a while Lucoa and I separated from Nanahoshi and Spade as we all went home.
