judgment (1)

Within the total darkness, Charles reflected:

"Bringing that girl back was so easy... My plan was to take over his body, but I did well to postpone it. That boy named Thomas could take over the body at any time. If I screwed up, he would never allow me to use his body again. Sigh... I still can't believe I'm in another world. I never believed in God or anything like that, but I always loved reading stories about these genres, where there's magic, demons, angels, God... This feeling of not feeling anything is strange."

Charles felt uncomfortable. It was like nothing mattered. Even if he died now, he wouldn't care. Although he didn't know it, Charles had been in black space for billions of years. Thanks to his godly memory, he could remember things that happened billions of years ago as if it were yesterday. Charles missed his life as a human. Although he never achieved anything good, he was happy reading stories and enjoying his routine. But he couldn't do anything about it. He was already locked in this absolute black space for a long time. His mentality had changed drastically, but he still strove to be human. But what caught his attention was "Mors," an important character in the final arc of the story. His real name was "Death," but in Latin, his name was "Mors." Such a character who is among the ten strongest beings in the world of the universe, but when Charles saw him, he was disappointed. He was too weak. Sighing, Charles started watching Thomas again...

As Thomas and Mors walked down a hallway, Thomas said, "Lord Mors, we need to find Annabelle. She might be on the island now!"

Mors, hearing this, began to laugh and said, "For starters, the island doesn't exist anymore, and I've already sent someone to look for it. Maybe he'll be back in a few minutes."

Thomas, listening to Mors, would open a slight smile of satisfaction and ask Mors, "Where are we going?" Mors would answer, "We're going to a trial where it will decide if you live... or die."

Thomas, upon hearing this, was startled and asked with a tone of concern and fear, "Judgment? Did I do something wrong?"

Mors laughed, seeing that scene and said, "Don't worry, kid. I won't let you die. Just look mad and I'll play nice, okay?"

Thomas didn't understand, but he nodded. After a few minutes of walking down the hall, they finally reached the end and saw a big white door. Mors said, "Let's go in."

Thomas waved, and the two walked through the door. The first thing Thomas saw upon entering were ten chairs around a giant round table, but suddenly, his body sank, and he fell on top of that giant table. When he counted, there were ten people sitting in each of the chairs. Thomas looked around and saw Mister Mors sitting in one of them. He tried desperately to call for help, but no sound came out of his mouth. He couldn't move because chains bound his body, and he heard a deep voice from a man who appeared to be very old, "So it's this boy who houses this being?"

A woman replied, "Looks like it... We can find out his identity if you let him have sex with me. Hehe."

Then another woman spoke, "You never change, Aphrodite..."

Aphrodite replied, "No other being has lied to me in bed, including you, Kali."

"Enough!" Aphrodite hearing that said, "Damn... Why did they call this guy?"

Then another man replied, "Have respect for the father of all!" Aphrodite heard this and laughed in response, "If you weren't so attached to your father, I might even sleep with you. But I don't like being the second option." The man became very angry, stood up, and drew his hammer from his waist. Just as he was about to attack Aphrodite, her supposed father interjected, "Don't fall in love with her, Thor." Thor then apologized, saying, "Sorry, father of all." Aphrodite then mocked the situation by saying, "Hahaha, don't you think you're too old to play house with your daddy? Hahaha." However, Thor responded, "Don't you think you're too old to keep using magic to look pretty?" The atmosphere became tense, and Aphrodite rose to attack Thor, but Mors intervened, saying, "Let's focus on the boy. You can have your husband and wife fights later."

As the strongest being in the room, Mors had the most authority, and his word was law. He said, "The 'thing' inside him is extremely powerful and dangerous. So who will start?" Odin then asked Mors about his strength, saying, "Is that being stronger than you?" Mors replied, "Yeah." This answer made everyone fall silent as they pondered the implications.

After a while, a man spoke up and said, "So we've found someone who is stronger than death itself. This is hard to accept, but Mors, is he our enemy?" Mors replied, "I honestly don't know. I just know that he can kill us all with a snap of his fingers." There was another period of silence, and then another man asked, "If we kill the boy now, will this being die along with him?" Mors laughed and replied, "How are we going to kill someone who can kill death? Hades... Sigh. Whatever he is, even if the boy dies, that being will continue to exist."

Aphrodite joined the conversation and spoke optimistically, saying, "Why don't you leave this guy to me? I'll make him fall in love with me." Mors responded seriously, "You can try, but don't expect me to save you if something goes wrong." Although Aphrodite acted like a "bitch in heat," Mors knew the abilities of the goddess of love and recognized that she could probably even seduce one of the 10 strongest beings in the universe. However, he was talking about someone in a level above these beings, and so he wasn't confident.

Kali joined the discussion and addressed a woman, asking, "What do you think we should do, Gaia?" Gaia heard the question but did not answer immediately. After some thought, she said, "Why don't we talk to that being?"

As soon as those words left her mouth, the room was consumed by an eerie silence. All eyes were fixed on the girl who had spoken, waiting for her to continue. Mors, who had been the first to recover from the shock, finally broke the silence.

"Not a bad idea," he said, "but if it goes wrong, we'll probably all die." His words hung heavy in the air, and everyone knew he was right.

Aphrodite let out a mischievous chuckle. "Fine by me," she said, "I'm dying to meet him, hehe."

Kali nodded in agreement, and one by one, the others followed suit, agreeing to speak with the mysterious being. Mors turned to Thomas, who had remained silent throughout the conversation.

"Let him take over your body," Mors said to Thomas, his voice calm but commanding.

Though hesitant, Thomas ultimately decided to cooperate and relinquished control of his body to the enigmatic presence inside him. As he did, he muttered the words, "to wake up."

Suddenly, the room was filled with the sound of weapons being drawn, as everyone present readied themselves for whatever might come next. Everyone, that is, except Mors, Kali, Aphrodite, Odin, and Gaia. They remained motionless, their eyes fixed on the boy with the tattoo of the moon on his forehead.

The air around them seemed to shift, and the chains that had bound the boy began to break, one by one. His eyes turned completely black, and he looked directly at each person in the room in turn.

"I better not waste my precious time," he said quietly, his voice carrying an unmistakable air of authority.
