Last Regression: Unfathomable Teacher

The first time Lucian Forge died, he had been a weak knight in the reserves. A simple teacher forced to enlist and fight against a darkness that had pitted itself against the great armies and mighty heroes of humanity.
A darkness that had won.
However, due to a lucky item he had found within his journey as a knight, he surprisingly finds himself within his office all those years ago.
The past, Lucian had gone back in time, and he had kept his memories.
This time, Lucian led the charge, a new man who had seen and lived through the woes of the world. Armed with future knowledge, locations of priceless treasures and stolen opportunities of past heroes; he fought with every ounce of his being.
And lost.
Ten Generals of Dread had appeared and destroyed everything, their powers not something mere strength could overcome.
Once again, the humans had lost, and he regressed with a heavy heart.
Lucian, with a calmer and more callous mind, used his power to force humanity to get along and prepare for the incoming doom that would befall them. He ruled with fear, killed those who refused, and enslaved anyone with the power to help humanity.
As a result, they had finally fought the Demons on equal footing. Humanity, like a single ray of sunlight in the void, had hope.
Well, until he appeared.
A creature so powerful no one could stand in his way, each wave of his hand plenty enough to slaughter all who stood before him, and a king hellbent on destruction.
Humanity, to no surprise, had lost once again.
Lucian regressed.
However, his soul had been injured in the demon king’s attack, and if he has any hopes of trying to win he will have to use not his own waning strength; but that of others.
Now, he will have to tread on a path he had taken in the original timeline, a past where he did not know that humanity had so few years to live before its demise. A past where he was just a humble teacher working at one of the many academies in all of Albion.
Lucian, with an already forming headache, will have to make due. Because if he does not, humanity is guaranteed to lose again, and it just so happens this is his last shot at saving it.
His last regression.
