I Got Trapped in a Dating Sim!

I was walking home from my high school alone. I enter my house and hop onto my computer. Should I play Sword Land II or Skeletons & Zombies? I'm getting kind of bored of those games. I browse the internet for a new game. "What's this? A new dating sim?" I am not one to usually play dating sims. It has zero downloads. I'm surprised this was recommended to me.

"All my classmates have girlfriends. I guess I should learn. The game is called... 'Dating sim to a Different World.' That's a really weird name. I guess I would be the first person to play it. I click download and stand up to grab a drink. I knock a glass of a drink over on the computer tower. "Shoot!" I could have sworn I didn't have a drink there. It is still working so whatever. The game has finished downloading. I open up the game. A huge light glows from my monitor as the game tab opens up. I look away and close my eyes.

I open my eyes to see myself in the middle of a town. It was almost sunset when I went inside. My head hurts. "Let's see. I went home from school and played a dating sim." Where am I?

"You are in the dating sim you just downloaded." What? Who just said that? I look behind me. A tiny fairy girl looks at me. "Hello Sakuto." Did that flying tiny girl just talk to me? "I'm actually average size for a fairy!" Can this fairy read my mind or something? No. That would be-- "Correct! I can read your mind. You are probably wondering why are you in a dating sim." I am actually in a dating sim! I have like no experience with women, and I'm pretty average. The tiny fairy looks pretty mad at me.

"Do you want to go back to your regular world?"

"Yes, of course!"

"Good. You will have to date every choosable character in this dating sim if you want to go back home." This seems almost illegal. "No! In this world they won't bat an eye if you date more than one girl." I'm never playing another dating sim after this. "Stop reading my mind! How will I know if they are a choosable character?"

She smirks at me. She hits me with her tiny wand. "You will know." I do not like that sound of that. "I forgot to add one thing. If you choose not to date them they will die a tragic death." That's horrible! "The people in this world are as real as the people in your world. I'll check on you every once and a while." She disappears leaving me alone on the sidewalk. "So much for a tutorial."

I'm still expecting to wake up from a dream, but if I really am in a dating sim... I know you need to gain a steady flow of cash to pay for dates and gifts. Once you gain enough money you meet the first girl. I head to the center of the city. I find a small market. I really hope the money is a lot different in this world. I enter the market. The old lady behind the counter looks at me and asks, "Would you like to get a job here?" This is weird.

"Yes. That is exactly what I came here for." She smiles at me. "You can work here 4 hours a day and earn 10$ an hour. You would be a cashier." That's pretty good. I sign all the paperwork. I leave the store and the fairy appears. "Oh hey. What's up." she started clapping. "You got a job already. Here's 100$ starting cash." She hands me 100$. "Oh yeah! You can use time stamps to work your jobs without actually having to waste your time." She takes my phone and opens up an app.

"This app can control your time stamps, your jobs, and other things. You have three time stamps. This is a basic jobs so you can use one time stamp per hour. If you use your time stamps you would only have to work one hour a day, but you would still get the money for four hours."

"This is a little bit complicated, but I think I understand now." I notice a progress bar under where it says my job. "What's this?" I show her the progress bar. "If you work at your job for enough hours you can level up gaining more money per hour. If you level up in your job or relationship you get more time stamps." She disappears and I get a hotel room for the night. The next day before work I rent a apartment room. The first three hours pass I go into work normally. After the final hour I buy the basic necessities and go back home.

I get my money almost instantly. I can keep track of my money and recurring payments on my phone. I am almost halfway done on my progress for my job. I was there four hours so at probably 10 hours I should level up.

Two days later, I level in my job getting me able to do six hours of work a day and having four time stamps. I earn 15$ per hour at work now. A couple days pass, and I still haven't met a betrothed. I guess I'll call the girls I have to date that. I have 300$ now. I'm surprised I haven't found a betrothed yet.

I wake up the next morning and look at the time. "I'm going to be late!" I change into my uniform and get on my bike. I drive a lot faster to work. I'm almost there when a girl with blonde twin-tails walks in my way. I swerve to the side. I run into a lamppost, and my bike is completely destroyed. "You need to watch where you are walking. I could have ran you over." I look into her green eyes and she looks into my light blue eyes. My heart skipped a beat when I looked into her eyes. "Oh shoot! I'm going to be late for work." I run off to go do my two hours. While working I ponder, was that the fairy meant when she said, "You'll know." It has to be. I just almost killed her then scolded her. I am so bad at this. The sliding doors open and the girl walks in.

"Welcome to Karl's market!" What am I going to do? She gets a cake and comes up to my register. "I'll pay this for you because of the trouble I caused you." I buy the 20$ cake for her. She turns around. "I didn't come here because I knew this is where you worked." No way.

Is she a tsundere?
