My skill is such a useless ability (1)

"Where am I...."

I was in awe while the breeze of what seemed to be a forest surrounded me and embraced my skin. A clear sky. A sun if I must say.

The bright sunlight had clearly gave this joyful scenery as if the botanical plants aside from the trees are straight out of that illustrated codex, the Voynich Manuscript.

It's not totally different from what I've been seeing on my country. However, the botanical plants are as if enhanced fanciful plants based on realistic plants that I've seen.

I breathed and did a deep sigh.

I think I know what happened. I put my hands beside my cheeks.

So that was it. It was true.

As far as I remember, I understood a part of the Voynich Manuscript I downloaded from the internet.

A part of it was telling me, if you want to see the forest and the plants, you have to enter a portal inside a dream within a dream.

Weird, right? Usually you wake up inside a dream to realize that you haven't wake up in reality.

However, vividly as my attempt to dream, I remembered what I did prior to the moment where I woke up on this body that I seemed not to own.

Since it was naked. I am naked. This is the sole reason I can feel the coldness of the forest breeze yet the balance of the warm sunlight helped me endure while I'm reminiscing the moments of how I arrived here.

If I recall, it was like this.

I slept while listening to a random video of accessing Akashic Records music. Then, inside my dream, I was aware that I am dreaming. Then I entered my room inside that dream, I know it was a dream because I never stayed and slept inside my room since last year, so I am pretty sure this was a dream.

After that, as I slept inside my room, I was suddenly surrounded by a grim dark forest. And then I saw the portal that the manuscript was saying.

I entered it and voila!

I am now standing in the middle of the forest. Alone, naked. And the body seemed to be not mine. Since when I look behind me, it was as if this body was lying on a flat surface of a stone-like bed, and I can actually see my reflection. Is it transmigration? Wow. Surely I would love to be the protaganist of my own awesome story.

However, creepily my happy mood didn't last long because I heard several voices around me.

"Is he our messiah?"

"He finally returned huh?"

"Is he our master"

"Can he actually hear us"

"He really did return"

A lot of voices from people I can't see reached me.

But I can't actually see people around me.

Are they hiding so they can avoid second-hand embarrassment because I am naked?

"Ah I want to wear something!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

I swallowed for a moment. It seems like I am hearing a system of my own.

Because in this weird exchange of me and this system that exists on this body, I heard the word "passive skill".

Passive skill. The Voynich manuscript surely talked about something as if someone who will be able to exit the portal will be using a body with a passive skill of <Plantspeak Lv.1>

'Can you show me my passive skills?'

[Well, Mr. Trenta, let me repeat that you don't own active skills because you needed a wand, but solely you have one passive skill. I am being redundant here]

'But how can I obtain a wand? Oh wait, I think I know the solution. Can you assist me?'

[As much as I want to, I believe I would just be an obstruction to your mental resources Mr. Trenta. You don't want hearing me while listening to the plants and trees.]

Of course, having never owned something like a mental assistant before, I would be having a hard time if I listen to my assistant and speak with random forest beings at the same time.

The presence of fanciful plants really was certainly cathartic for me.

It was as if I'm inside an MMORPG Forest of a fantasy game.

What was interesting is that as my assistant stopped talking to me, I kept hearing trees and plants shouting at me, as if they have actual voices.

I began to focus on a certain voice that mentions "wand".

[That plant is 5 meters away from you. Would you like to go on autopilot so you can reach your destination?]

'Sure'

The plant my body went to is the same as what I have seen on the Voynich Manuscript. It had pink leaves, as well as green leaves. And it gave a golden glow.

It started shaking creepily yet I really wanted to laugh and it began to speak as I perceive it.

"Hello there, Mr... Naked Guy. I am Goldia Pinkgreenia"

"What's up"

"Well, I wanted to guide you to the wand that rightly belongs to you but we can't move."

"I can pluck you."

"That would not work."

Surprisingly, I believed it intuitively.

"The wand will only respond to my golden leaf. Get one and eat it."

'Is it safe if I do that?' I tried to confirm it with my assistant.

[Yes.]

"Thank you Goldia but can you spare me the details?"

"Basically, a golden armor will be weaved outside your body. As soon as you get near the wand, it will receive the golden light reflected by your armor and it will started glowing in response to your proximity."

"That's awesome. thank you so much Goldia."

"No problem. Also, you will know my gift after you obtained the wand. But you will lose the golden armor"

That was a shame. A loss of a golden armor as soon as I obtained my wand.

I bid goodbye to Goldia after getting a golden leaf from her. I ate the leaf, I just convinced myself it was a luxurious food ornament. Surprisingly it tasted like mint

After that a golden light enveloped me and it started to feel warm.

A golden beam shoot straight from where I am standing to a certain direction as if it was not because it is being absorbed.

I ran towards it. It felt like 10 houses away.

Finally, I saw a big rock with a wand at the center of it. Surrounded by vines.

I took the glowing wand.
