Amidst the blazing flames surrounding Li Huang in the sky, a bright red bone shard suddenly shot through the fire, aimed directly at his heart, catching him off guard. Although Li Huang was channeling immense firepower in his hands, making it difficult to move, he managed to dodge the attack in time. However, the red bone still pierced his torso. Yet, instead of showing pain, Li Huang merely continued to smile coldly, as if he felt nothing.

At that moment, a white serpent swiftly emerged from thin air, lunging to bite Li Huang's neck. Ling Se's mocking voice echoed from within the white snake.

"You're quite the ruthless one… planning to kill me along with your own people, aren't you?"

Li Huang kept his icy smile, disregarding Ling Se's taunt. He instantly absorbed the massive fireball into his own body, prompting Ling Se to panic. Ling Se attempted to withdraw his fangs from Li Huang, only to find them trapped, as was Bai Gu Wang's red bone shard, both bound tightly by the crimson flames radiating from Li Huang's body.

Suddenly, a massive explosion of flame erupted from Li Huang, scorching everything around him. Ling Se's body began to melt from the intense heat, and Bai Gu Wang's bone was incinerated, its flames tracing back to his body. Seeing this, Bai Gu Wang quickly severed his own hand to minimize his injuries, while Ling Se was forced to shed his skin and escape in haste.

The fierce flames spread, nearly reaching the capital. However, the Golden Throne Army erected a spiritual barrier just in time to protect the capital of the Heavenly Flame Dynasty from destruction.

Seeing that further resistance was futile, Bai Gu Wang realized the futility of continuing and instead dived toward the capital, aiming for the prison holding Li Jun, intending to escape with him. Li Huang, observing Bai Gu Wang from above, smirked before shifting his gaze elsewhere.

A surge of countless snakes charged at Li Huang from all directions. He unleashed flames of intense power, instantly incinerating the snakes into ash. However, at that exact moment, a dagger darted toward Li Huang's neck. Reacting swiftly, Li Huang summoned a flaming spear, countering the direction from which the dagger had come.

The dagger pierced Li Huang's neck, but simultaneously, his spear penetrated Ling Se's heart. Ling Se's face contorted in pain, but his shock was even greater as he saw Li Huang's emotionless, cold gaze.

Ling Se's body was then torn apart midair, scattering to the ground. Meanwhile, Bai Gu Wang took advantage of the confrontation, capturing Li Jun and two young women and quickly making his escape.

As Ling Se's falling body shifted into a swarm of thousands of serpents, they launched another assault on Li Huang. The serpents threw everything they had at him, but Li Huang's flames consumed them before they could come close. The thousands of serpents were reduced to ashes in an instant.

This final attack, however, provided Bai Gu Wang with the opportunity to escape. As he fled, he glanced back at Li Huang and was shocked to see his wounds healing rapidly. The injuries from the dagger in his neck and other cuts vanished, leaving only faint scars before his body returned to perfect condition.

Inwardly shaken, Bai Gu Wang thought, "What kind of monster is this…?" but he dared not turn back to fight and immediately fled.

Li Huang watched his enemies retreat, then dissipated the Emperor's Tome and began to take action.

Deep within a high-level continent's forest, Bai Gu Wang carefully set down Li Jun and the two young women. After arduously escorting the three from the Heavenly Flame Dynasty's capital to a safe location, Bai Gu Wang disappeared into the forest. Moments later, he captured a man hidden in the woods and etched a strange symbol onto the man's neck.

The man's neck began to swell, as if something were struggling to escape from within. Soon, Ling Se's body emerged from the man's mouth. Watching Ling Se step out and dress himself, Bai Gu Wang turned away in disgust, muttering.

"I feel like vomiting every time I see that," Bai Gu Wang muttered, turning his head away.

Ling Se smirked and replied, "If there were an easier way, I'd have used it long ago."

Ling Se glanced around and then asked, "Where's Li Jun?"

Bai Gu Wang pointed to Li Jun's body, leaning against a tree, with two unconscious women lying beside him. Ling Se looked at the three and chuckled softly. "No wonder you managed to get them out so easily."

Bai Gu Wang interjected, "Big talk… coming from someone who was killed by a Saint King Level 1."

Ling Se ignored him and spoke in a mocking tone, "Their bodies are filled with special insects and countless poisons embedded in key points. These insects and poisons have nearly become part of their bodies, buried in critical spots that, if forcibly removed, might kill them instantly. And their only purpose is to reveal their location to that boy. There are even some toxins here I don't recognize."

Examining one of the women, Ling Se remarked, "Ah… ruthless, precise, and thorough. When I tried to extract a sample of these poisons for myself, even a slight trigger would set them off. If I hadn't stopped in time, this girl would already be dead. Quite impressive."

Bai Gu Wang asked, "So, what will you do next?"

After a moment of thought, Ling Se replied, "Our job is simply to return Li Jun, not to heal him. It's not our problem. Let's just return Li Jun to his mother as he is."

Bai Gu Wang laughed softly, "You're as shameless and irresponsible as ever, haven't changed a bit." Ling Se smiled and said nothing further before flying off. Bai Gu gathered the bodies of all three and flew after Ling Se immediately.
