Chapter 8

"Ughhr....." I fluttered my eyes open and gasped in pain. My gaze swept the strange space. The two familiar figures lying on the other side of the bed quickly caught my attention. I use my arm to sit up.

"H-hey you guys?" I urged them to wake up as I stated. Shikari eyes fixed on mine as they gradually came to awake. Her eyes begin to mist up.

"LADY MARTINAAAA~~~"  She let out a shrill cry and wrapped her arms around me. I simply felt perplexed by what was happening.

"Ow!" I yelled as a burning agony spread across my forehead. Shikari then swiftly stood back up while displaying extreme concern about my wounds.

"Don't touch your forehead, Lady Martina.." As he assisted me in rising from the bed, Prince Takashi stated. I moved over to the nearby mirror and took a look at myself.

My forehead is wrapped in a bandage. If my mother finds out I'm hurt, she'll be furious.

"Where are we?" I asked them while maintaining my focus on the mirror. They exchanged glances before turning to face me.

"We're in the school infirmary" Shikari replied, pointing at the sign that reads "Infirmary" at the top of the entrance. Oh yeah, I just remember it.

"Tch! That old man!" I stomped on the ground and swore. Prince Takashi made a lot of effort to soothe me.

"Let's get out of here.." I exclaimed, my eyes burning with wrath. That person had a special kind of magic, and what did he intend to do to Asuka-san? Whatever, if he hurts her, I'll kill him.

We took caution as we moved along the passageways. This school sure is posh, sheesh.

There are many men and women here, and they are all dressed well. Additionally, some of them were terrible; they had dark clothing and bushy hair, which was strange.

Fast heels striking the floor were audible to us. I swiftly turned back and noticed a tall, tan-skinned woman with ginger hair.

She is dressed in a fancy dark green outfit. She certainly has a menacing appearance. She made a small bow.

"Pleasure to meet you, Lady Rikaris" She said in a commanding manner. I gave a small shudder and met her eyes.

"I see that you're the new students huh?" She said and stare at me with a narrowed eyes.

"Yes i'm." I replied while being extremely cautious. She turned around and walk away while saying.

"Follow me.." She said before leaving. Shikari and I exchanged glances. We nodded and went after her. Then we reach a large door.

We entered after the door opened automatically. Although it has a large table in the centre and several additional people are seated on chairs that were set out for them, the area looks like a library. I scanned the classroom and noticed someone.

"We have arriv-" I interrupted the ginger-haired girl as she spoke to the man with dark complexion.

"<Wind Generation!>" I yelled loudly, which caused air to be shot at him. The air bullets I fire at him start to dissipate as he raises his hand. 'Wtf???'

"<Cheetah!>" Someone screamed. When one of the adults turns into a cheetah, I see him charging straight at me. The cheetah lunged at me and struck.

I drop to the ground right away as the cheetah holds me down.

'Animal magic?! Heh intresting' They are adept at using their powers with control. Shikari was quite concerned about me, but they stopped her. I noticed the dark man when I looked up.

"You asshole! What did you did to her!" While I was still on the ground, I yelled at him. When he realised what I was saying, he tilted his head and his eyes immediately opened.

"Oh! Are you the girl that trying to protect Asuka?" While staring down at me, he said. When I go back to the embarrassing incident when I failed to take him down, I nip at the inside of my tongue. He laughed.

"Don't worry we didnt do anything to her! We just put her back in the place she deserve." He said with an evil smirk. I don't understand what he meant!?

"What do you mean by that!" I spoke out loud. He chuckles and takes a piece of paper from the desk. Then he revealed the document to me.

A school register paper, that is. I read it while still sporting my crazed expression. Then, my eyes grew wide.

"Eastwead Magic Academy..." what the fuck!

"Mother didnt said that she entered me in a academy!?" I said and looked at that guy. He smirk.

"Well, maybe she just doesn't read it right or she really want you to stay here" He said and kneel down at me. He then read the rest of this academy infos.

"A academy for the bad and good. Where we separate the evils and the goodness!" He said aloud and smiled happily like its a good ideas. We are all looking shock.

"Thats mean..."

"Yes! That girl was the bad one! So we put her there but unfortunately, she runned away! So we tried to catch her. But then we met you trying to protect the evil..." he said while flipping the paper and put it back on the table.

"You think i will believe you! You can't even see the difference between evil and good?! She's looking like an angel fall from the skies!" I scolded him. I heard Shikari using her powers to slightly shake the floor.

What is she mad about? He despises me and looks down at me.

"We always do a best to regonized the evils and good. So we never wrong!" He spoke in a grave tone. I felt uneasy about this man. Is it real, though?

What if he's somewhat correct. Although I know better than to judge a book by its cover, I still don't trust him.

The practitioner of animal magic released me and my pals as well. Everyone returns to their seats.

"So you're here to be tested if you're good of bad!" When he got to the last word, he coughed. We simply gave up and let ourselves be tried. Thank God we are all on the good side.

But even so, I disagree with how they handled other people.

"You may leave~" the guy said as he folding his arms together. The woman with ginger hair followed us as we walked past her on the way to our classes.

"I don't know that you're that brave to try to hurt the principal?" She spoke as we were passing through corridors filled with murmuring nobility and commoners.

My head sprang up in surprise.

"He's the principal!?" I said aloud which making her hushed me. I shut my mouth in anger and disagree.

"Yes, his name is Dikari Hamado. The son of this village protector." She said and then we arrive at a class with pink and white decoration all over the place. Why the hell is this class decorated?

"Oh! Prince Takashi? You follow me to the field because the princes had to practice their sword skills." She called him over. I just stare at them and i felt a tugged on my shirt.

"Lady Martina, lets go to our seat.." i heard shikari soft voice. I nodded and let her choose the seats.
