Coincidence

Loki, Nobunaga, and Uvogin walked aimlessly on the street, looking around curiously. Uvogin and Nobunaga were interested in the surrounding environment while Loki was thinking about his following few goals.

"The fastest way to understand the full grasp of this world is to learn knowledge from books. I believe there is a library close by, but to enter, I need identification. I can also try a bookstore, but money is lacking now." Loki thought to himself.

"I could steal some, but then we will have to leave soon. The first priority is getting identities for all of us, then knowledge; from there, I can plan my individual goals." Loki decided.

As the three walked down the street, they soon arrived at a bank. Uvogin wanted to rob it so they could have some money, resulting in a fierce beating from Loki as he had just finished explaining that they were lowkey.

After this short episode, however, a warning bell suddenly sounded from the bank in front of them. Immediately afterward, the door broke open, and three silhouettes wrapped in masks dashed out.

Each of them carried large duffle bags on their backs while they all held guns. The alarm was now loudly sounding in the night, causing a commotion in the surrounding buildings.

Loki, however, was dumbfounded looking at this scene. He had just finished lecturing Uvogin, and now this happens. This did not stop him from thinking fast, though.

"Loki, look!" Uvogin said with stars in his eyes.

"Heh... Although we can't rob the bank, it doesn't mean that those three can't give our group a small donation, I suppose…." Loki said with a smile.

Seeing the three people running away, Loki popped a twisted grin on his face before turning to Uvogin and Nobunaga.

"Let's follow along and grab our donation," Loki said before following them.

Following the van driving away, Loki started to perceive their strength. Based on the fact that they were using guns, it was clear that they didn't know how to use Nen, which worked perfectly. The only problem was it was somewhat tough to catch up with a speeding van while on foot, so they could only follow it from behind.

"Hopefully, they don't drive too far…." Loki thought with an annoyed expression.

**********

The van soon left the city before eventually turning into a small abandoned factory, where it stopped. The factory's location was very remote, and you could tell that no people had come in a long time. Soon the three robbers stepped out of the van with the duffle bags in their hands.

Two of them were pretty small, and the last one was a rough-looking guy who seemed quite ferocious.

"Hahaha! I didn't expect it would be so easy to rob this bank boss!" One of them spoke.

"Yeah, hahaha… With this much, we could live freely forever! Boss, are you sure you want to exchange this for identification?" The other said.

"Be quiet, you two. How are we going to spend this money without identification? That bank manager also helped us quite a bit. After we get the identification from the bank manager, we can still take the money away, though…." The rough-looking man said with a smile.

"You're so smart, boss! I would have never thought of that!~" the two small guys fawned over the man.

"Hmph, of course. That bank manager isn't that good, anyway. Most of the money in the bank is misappropriated by him anyway, so we can just say that he messed up in private." the man said with a smirk.

(SFX) *CLAPPING*

Just as the boss's voice fell, there was a sudden burst of applause within the empty factory.

The three robbers instantly turned around and raised their guns to where they heard the sound.

"Hahaha… Sure enough, I didn't read you wrong."

From the shadows, two figures slowly revealed themselves. The boss of the two little robbers had his eyes shrink, and a little sweat appeared on his forehead as he recognized who it was. The one on the left was an obese man who was smiling and who he recognized as the bank manager. The one on the right seemed to be a skinny man who didn't seem all that threatening, so he directly ignored him.

"You came earlier than the time we agreed on." Said the boss of the robbers.

"Ha…. If I don't come early, how will I be able to get my money back? You guys also seemed to talk about some interesting stuff…." Said the bank manager with a greasy smile.

Hearing that the matter was exposed, the others stopped pretending and immediately raised their guns.

"Stop talking nonsense then, give us identification, and we want you to give us this twenty million as well!! Hurry up, or we will shoot!!" The boss said with a ruthless face.

"Twenty million? I seem to have recorded that you guys stole sixty million…." The bank manager said with a smile.

"What are you talking about! We only stole twenty million!" Said one of the little robbers.

"You took money from the bank, and that's an indisputable fact. As for how much was taken away…." The man said as his fat face soon became incredibly ruthless.

"As long as you die here, who would ever know?!" he said with a laugh.

Hearing this, the boss of the robbers soon sneered.

"It seems that you weren't going to give us the identification anyway. You just want to take the upset from the real owner of the bank. You guys forget that we are the ones with the guns right now!" The boss said with an icy look.

"A gun? Hahaha…. Just a bunch of ants who don't know the real power that exists in the world." the man said with a laugh, causing his face to jiggle. Soon he turned to the skinny man beside him and turned extremely respectful.

"You can do it now, Mr. Cain." The bank manager said in a humble tone.

The three bank robbers were stunned, not understanding where the bank manager got his confidence. At this time, however…

*Whoosh*

The boss of the robbers only felt a gust of wind coming from behind him, causing him to try to look back.

*Crack*

The sound of bones breaking rang out in the factory.

"Why can I see behind me?"

And this was the last thought he had in his head as he died. The two little robbers quickly became terrified as they saw their boss had his head rotated 180 degrees. They wanted to run, but before they could, another gust of wind came causing them to end in a similar fate.

Lying on the floor were the three corpses, with the skinny man standing behind them exuding a cold air.

"As expected of Mr. Cain!" The fat bank manager said with a smile and a flattering look.

"Stop talking nonsense. You better deliver the things you promised me, or you will end up like them…" the man said coldly.

"Of course! Of course! Then shall we go back, Mr. Cain?" The fat man asked quickly with some cold sweat on his head.

"Not yet… there are still a few mice that need to be dealt with." The man said with a smile.

"A mouse?" The fat man asked, startled.

"It would seem that you found us, Mr. Cain…. However, I can't say that I would call us mice. If I would call us something…" a smooth and teasing voice rang out.

"I suppose I would call us spiders…."
