*After 3 days.*
Three full days had passed since Yu Tian arrived at High Heaven Pavilion and became the 6th Elder. Although he had never left his residence, rumors about him had spread everywhere within High Heaven Pavilion.
It wasn't just High Heaven Pavilion that was buzzing with news; even the Blood Battle Group, Storm House, and other nearby forces had heard about the 6th Elder of High Heaven Pavilion.
The other factions learned about Yu Tian not only because of the invitation letters they received from High Heaven Pavilion but also due to the rumors spread by the Elders. Although they didn't know much about him, the overwhelming pressure they felt from Yu Tian was no lie, and they decided to use this to announce the new Elder and elevate the status of High Heaven Pavilion.
Having someone under twenty years old with Yu Tian's strength was something to boast about, as his power surpassed that of some Elders who had lived for a long time. Therefore, the Elders from High Heaven Pavilion didn't hesitate to send their disciples to spread the news about the New Elder in Black Wind Woods, where disciples from all the surrounding factions gathered.
Because of the presence of many disciples from different factions in Black Wind Woods, the news about Yu Tian quickly spread to all the nearby factions, who were forced to believe it, especially when they received an invitation letter from High Heaven Pavilion for the ceremony to be held in a few days.
While many were busy preparing gifts for High Heaven Pavilion, there were also those who planned to use the ceremony as an opportunity to humiliate High Heaven Pavilion.
As everyone was busy with various tasks, Yu Tian finished his training and decided to go out and explore High Heaven Pavilion, as Bi Lou seemed to be in a state of enlightenment.
And so, Yu Tian left his residence for the first time in three days. He flew through the sky, curiously observing High Heaven Pavilion, which was completely different from Heaven's Secret Sect. Heaven's Secret Sect focused on a peaceful environment, encouraging disciples to train quietly, while High Heaven Pavilion was extremely lively and seemed to encourage disciples to fight among themselves.
---
"Have you heard about Elder Yu?" asked one of High Heaven Pavilion's disciples to his friend, who had just returned to the sect due to an Elder's summons.
"Elder Yu? Who is that?" The disciple who had just returned to the sect was puzzled. Although he had responded to the sect's call to return, he didn't know the reason, though he was curious about the commotion throughout the sect.
"Elder Yu is the New Elder, and from what I've heard, he's only 15 years old but incredibly powerful," said the shark-toothed disciple enviously, clearly wishing he could be in Yu Tian's place.
"An Elder at 15 years old? You're joking, right?" The disciple who had just returned couldn't believe his friend. After all, Elders were the most powerful people in the sect and were respected and feared because of their immense strength. "Doesn't that make him younger than Big Sister Su?"
"That's right, he's younger than Big Sister Su," nodded the shark-toothed disciple earnestly, speaking with a hint of envy and jealousy. "But Elder Yu's strength is real, as he's stronger than the 5th Elder and 4th Elder. Plus, he's extremely handsome and seems to have a strong background."
"I also heard that tonight's ceremony is to welcome Elder Yu, and it's also an opportunity for the disciples, as Elder Yu will choose a personal disciple tonight," said the shark-toothed disciple, his eyes burning with determination. If he became a disciple of Elder Yu, he would gain more resources and treasures, not to mention direct guidance from the Elder, who would become his master.
"Are you thinking of becoming a disciple of Elder Yu?" the other disciple said, glaring at his friend with undisguised disdain. "If that's the case, I advise you to give up, as this will be the goal of many disciples, and we don't stand a chance with our modest talents."
"I already know that, you scoundrel," said the shark-toothed disciple in annoyance, slapping his friend's shoulder, who had just crushed his fleeting dreams.
As the two walked and joked with each other, they didn't notice another disciple who was sweeping the ground and listening to their conversation.
"Huh~ These are the ones they call geniuses," muttered the black-haired, black-eyed disciple enviously. "They are the opposite of someone like me, who has been stuck in the 3rd Stage Tempered Body for three full years."
This person was none other than Yang Kai, the protagonist of this world. He was also the type of protagonist who started with no talent before obtaining a heaven-defying treasure that helped him on his journey to the top, crushing his enemies along the way and winning beautiful women left and right.
Due to the plot, Yang Kai couldn't reach the 4th Stage Tempered Body despite training for three years. He was considered hopeless trash by the other disciples, who constantly bullied him in fights. Disciples had to fight at least once every five days to earn contribution points or lose them depending on the outcome of the fight. Because of Yang Kai's weakness, he was targeted by a large number of disciples, as fighting him meant earning contribution points for free and without much trouble.
"Uh! Isn't that Yang Kai?" said a disciple as he approached Yang Kai, who was sweeping the ground with the other disciples eager to fight him to earn contribution points.
'Here we go again...' Yang Kai thought in annoyance, ignoring the people around him. He sat down and began meditating to adjust his mental state before the fight. Although he knew he wouldn't win, it didn't stop him from fighting and hoping for a breakthrough during the battle.
"..." As Yang Kai meditated, there were two people in a nearby tree watching him with interest. While one of them looked at him helplessly, knowing he would lose again, the other watched him with amusement, seemingly waiting for an entertaining show.
