Side Story 11: Little Adventures

Ein was currently in the harbors of Liyue. And he waited for a certain pirate cosplayer. "Oiiii! I'm here Ein!" Beidou was docking her ship and she shouted to get his attention, not like she needed to, but he waved back.

She jumped off the ship and quickly went near him. "Yo dayo, human. Kon Nakiri." he gave a weird greeting, but she ignored it. "So? Are you ready for an adventure? I've been planning this trip quite a while now. This is going to be quite exciting I would say." She was excited, not only will she hang out with a crazy guy. She would also receive one of those monstrous metal ships. Although the ship girls were made of Adamantine.

"Sure am, but I've been in wild adventures all my life Beidou. You sure you could top that?" He raised a brow at her, she nodded with confidence. Not really knowing that fighting beasts that could level cities in hours was his monday morning usual.

"I'll take you fishing, but not ordinary fish. We'll hunt for a krakken and we'll eat it for dinner!" She said like it was a common date course. He only nodded though and smiled. "Sounds like fun, I would do it while I'm surfing though. For the extra thrill, and my only weapon is a harpoon with some rope at the end."

Beidou laughed at him and thought it was a good joke. The conqueror of the seas then pulled his arm and boarded her ship with him. "Everyone, this is Ein. We're going on a date and we will hunt some krakken for dinner! You sea dogs better be prepared or I'll lose face you hear me!?"

The crew nodded and laughed. Not expecting that their tomboy captain would land a date with someone that has more beautiful skin and hair than her. "But captain, he's wearing a robe that's made of silk. Won't he be inconvenienced when you know... A krakken appears or something?" One of the crew members asked.

"Umu, that's a good question. Ein, why the hell are you wearing something like that? Take those off and wear something else!" She pointed at the crew and they wore something that was similar to work clothes for heavy jobs.

"Alright, it wasn't going to inconvenience me in any way, but of course I can't quite refuse my date." He took off his clothes on the spot and was thankfully wearing some boxers, he then tied his hair and wore rush guard leggings. On a normal dude, it would look silly. But the leggings clinged to his rock hard legs and showed his cut muscles.

He went shirtless and hid his hair with a bandana. "Happy? Not gonna lie, this is kinda comfy. Only at sea though." He flexed his muscles and did a lat spread, his muscles then formed a face. Looking absolutely shredded.

"Ooohhh. That's hot. I approve!" Beidou gave him a thumbs up and the crew nodded. Not expecting he would look ripped as hell. Beidou looked at his form and was mirin'. She of course have seen the male form, but he topped it all and was simply perfection.

"Okay lads! Let's go and catch some squid!" Everybody cheered, starting to put down the sails. Beidou then looked at the sea with Ein on the bow of the ship.

Ein controlled the waves and wind. Leading them subtly to a large squid in the depths. "Okay Ein, I can feel it. There's one of those critters nearby." Beidou said to him, making him think she had great intuition.

And after a few more minutes, they saw a pretty big shadow under the water. "Men! Release the barrels." The crew lighted up barrels of explosives to make the krakken go up. Meanwhile, Ein looked at them and was curious how Beidou would kill it.

The primitive explosive charges were lined with lead to sink and they exploded after a minute, accompanied by a shriek of pain from the sea monster. "Alright! Prepare the cannons and load the harpoons!" Beidou barked orders, she then grasped her great sword. Ready to split the monster in half herself just like when she received her vision.

The krakken wrapped its tentacles on the starboard and the wood creaked, but it held true. The men attacked the tentacles with spears and cutlasses. But they were doing paltry damage except small cuts, the cannons and harpoons did some more damage. But it was looking dire.

"Damned squid, you're pretty tough ain't cha!? Well, take this!" Beidou jumped and she crackled with violet electricity. The krakken tried swiping her away with a tentacle, but she killed the momentum of the blow with her sword, counter attacking with a slash imbued with lightning.

The tentacle dropped on the ship with a heavy thud. Beidou then quickly went between its eyes and stabbed her sword there. It struggled violently, she held on to the sword and used it as an anchor. "You tough bastard! Maybe you'll like this!" Electricity coursed from her body into the blade and fried the brain of the krakken. Making it convulse before it went limp like a noodle.

The crew cheered and Ein clapped his hands. "Masterful display Beidou. Not gonna lie, that entertained me quite well." She smiled at him brightly and thought the date was going well. But her loyal crew of course got rubbed the wrong way.

A lanky guy that looked like a samurai wannabe then stepped up and scoffed. "You didn't do anything anyway, why would you even come here if you won't help?" He asked, Beidou was about to chastise him. But Ein narrowed his eyes at her and made her sit down. (pic here)

"Ohhh? A samurai cosplayer. You from Inazuma kid? Well, let me tell you why I wasn't doing anything. 1st, it's because this is Beidou's payment to me. And me being here was her idea, I do not have any obligations to help. And 2nd, she obviously doesn't want any. If she did, then of course she would've called for me." Ein rebutted.

"Kazuha, that's enough. Ein's right you know?" Beidou asked the samurai to stop, but Ein's 2nd statement annoyed him. "Why would she get help from you anyway? Captain is strong, and I don't think you could do anything. You don't even have a vision." Kazuha looked at Ein's form and he didn't have any weapon nor vision at his person.

Ein then laughed loudly, confusing even Beidou as she only knows he could spawn things. "Hahaha, you're going to make me cry kid. You're funny you know, maybe you should try to be a comedian." Ein shed a tear and wiped it off.

"Maybe I should show you why?" Ein grabbed a random piece of wood nearby. "You see this? You're a samurai right, then you must study the sword. You're not qualified to even get a glimpse of my blade so this would have to do." Ein then waved it at the side of the starboard. And nothing happened.

"See! You're full of hot air! Captain Beidou must be out of her mind to give someone like you a date!" He was about to argue and say more, but the sea split in two as far as the eye could see.

"Hmm, this is some pretty nice wood Beidou. Made just for splitting the sea, you should sell this and call it Ocean splitter or something." Ein shrugged and threw the wood at Kazuha, he was distracted so it hit him right on the noggin.

"How about you do that with your sword samurai kid. Come on, I'm waiting." Ein tapped his boot on the floor and Kazuha looked at the ground, looking like he needed seppuku to gain back his honor.

"Holy... Are you a god Ein? That was AMAZING!" Beidou gushed at him and held his hands tightly. "Everybody is spreading rumors that I could split the sea, but what you just did is the real deal! What the hell, you should've told me you could do that!" She was excited to see a god and someone so powerful.

"Well, you didn't ask. How about we go dock to an island for now? I'll cook that squid real good. I'm a gentleman after all so I can't let the lady do all the work." He smiled and put his hand on her waist. Leading her to a table that he took out with wine on it. Sharing stories and experiences with each other.

Ein also brought out barrels of rum and other spirits so the sailors could enjoy, it was the safest voyage ever with him on board and they could all get black out drunk.

"You can handle your liquor Beidou. That's good, I don't want to take care of a drunk after all." She was getting competitive and wanted to have a drink off.

"Of course I can. Now keep drinking Ein, the alcohol won't drink themselves you know!" She downed shots of vodka and Ein matched her. Although she was in for a rude awakening when she learns that he can't get drunk naturally, nor long enough artificially to feel it.

They then arrived at an island and everybody was drunk as hell. Except Kazuha, Ein, and Beidou. "Hah, fine. I'll do it myself." Ein anchored the ship nearby and teleported everyone to the harbor. He then cleaned up the krakken and sliced it to bits. Making a variety of dishes. Sashimi, Squid soba, grilled squid, etc.

He then sobered up the drunks and they woke up to the delectable smell of the cooked squid. "Ohhh! That looks good!" Beidou drooled from the dishes and was in a festive mood, being tipsy.

"Eat up Beidou, I hope you like it." He presented some sashimi to her and she gulped. "Of course I would! I already know how your cooking tastes after all." She used some chopsticks and got a piece, dipping it in soy sauce that he also made. She then tasted the squid and moaned from the deliciousness.

"Hmm, I guess you liked that. Eat some more, don't be shy." He pointed at the other dishes and she looked at him like he was crazy. "You kidding me? I'll be enjoying this feast as much as I can." She gobbled up anything she could put her chopsticks on while the others were fighting to get a piece of everything.

Ein laughed and kept it coming, they had literal tons of food and he caught one stealthily. Putting it in his inventory for the others to eat. He was curious on how it tasted and popped a piece in his mouth. "Ohh, this actually tastes amazing. Like the highest quality squid, I thought it would be like rubber."

They then drank and ate until everyone passed out, even Kazuha was forced to drink and blacked out drunk almost immediately. It was already evening and without light pollution, the stars shone in the night sky. Twinkling and showing their light.

"Ahhh, I'm stuffed. Today was the day I ate the most in my life! You sure you can't be a chef in my employ? I'd kill to make you cook for me." Beidou nudged Ein and he chuckled. "Sorry, but I'm a free spirit you see. I do whatever I want and roaming the seas aren't much exciting for me." He remembered all his adventures.

Beidou nodded and thought about his stories in which he fought a world wide war. Being in mortal combat every waking hour of your life. "Umu, I guess it would be. I love the sea, but when you sail for days on end and encounter nothing. It gets stale as well, even for me." She remembered the times where there was no excitement and adventure.

"Right? And I could travel pretty quickly you know? I can fly after all." He smiled at her and she got curious. "For real? It would be amazing to fly..." She imagined being up high and looking down on everything. It would certainly spice up her adventures she thought.

"Well, how about we go for a quick stroll in the skies?" He put his hand on her waist and flew up. Making her squeak in surprise, gaining altitude suddenly.

"Ohh? Did I heard that right? I guess the famous captain can make sounds like that huh?" He teased her and Beidou pouted at him. "You better not tell anyone about this!" She tried hitting him, but recoiled in pain due to how hard he is.

"Well, you have to make me." He then controlled her flight with telekinesis and they roamed around the skies for a bit. Beidou was mesmerized and looked at the sceneries with awe in her eyes.

"It feels like my very first adventure. The amazing sceneries, this feeling of excitement and liberation... It feels amazing." She tried swimming on the air and it made him laugh.

They then went back to the island after a few more hours and they decided to oversee the sun rise. "Thank you Ein. This was a valuable experience, not to mention the most fun I've had in my life!" She said with a bright smile.

"Umu, you're pretty fun to be with as well Beidou. I'd say you've given me a satisfying date." He chuckled and Beidou started fidgeting.

"Well, I don't know how this would end. Do you know what we should do next for the finale?" She asked, unsure what's the next step. "Well, how about you give me a kiss to show your appreciation and that you enjoyed our time together?" He smirked and Beidou was surprised, but she narrowed her eyes at his smug face that was clearly expecting she wouldn't do it.

"Ayy!" She latched on to him and gave him a pretty long peck on his lips. "How about that, didn't expect that I would follow through huh?" She gave a smug smile.

"Hmm, how about I show you that I enjoyed it too?" He held her chin and kissed her. And of course, in true Ein fashion. He wiggled his tongue at her lips and asked for permission to enter.

Beidou let him go inside and her tongue was attacked by his skillfully. But she was a trooper and could hold her breath for a long time. She matched his technique with pure enthusiasm and gave a counter attack.

"Hmm~ That actually feels really good. Another." She put her arms on his neck and got into it. Driven by the mood and good feeling of the kiss.

After a few more, they separated and was greeted by the sun. "Pwah, I liked that. Let's do it some more next time." She smiled and got a taste of Ein that would surely linger in her mind.

"Hmm, you lewd lady. Looking at me with such lecherous eyes. You'd probably attack me next time." He hugged himself and fidgeted. Teasing Beidou.

"You were the one who did that amazing thing first. But thank you for this amazing day Ein, I loved it. Let's do it again sometime okay?" She gave a bright smile and hugged him tightly.

"Sure thing, though if you present yourself to me like that next time. I might attack you~" He pinched her nose and Beidou pinched his cheeks in retaliation. They then laughed and woke up the crew, fortunately they were close to Liyue's harbor and Ein turned the ship into a speed boat.

"This was nice, I'll see you again then." Beidou looked at him and thought it was a shame he was leaving. Wanting to spend more time with him and explore the floaty feeling when they kissed.

"Wanting more already? I can see it in your eyes girl. Don't worry, I'll give you something more amazing when we meet next time. If you want it that is." He winked and left.

Beidou sighed and thought he sure played her like a fiddle, she then looked at the ship that he promised and smiled. "Maybe I'll call you... The Cathexis, symbolizing this feeling in my chest." She then sighed and went to her crew to teach them how to operate it.

Ein, like the smooth operator he is. Prepared for his date with Ningguang and would take her to Inazuma. It was good timing as a festival would be held there in celebration of the vision hunt decree ending and Inazuma being more friendly with Watatsumi island. Relieving them of pressure from their problems with trade and food, it was quiet and smooth because anyone that had thoughts of rebelling against the shogunate disappeared like a popped bubble.

He informed Ei about him coming and went to the Liyue Qixing that was having a meeting. Also to sign his contract that he won't harm Liyue. Though he'll fuck them up they scheme against him.

The Qixing were in a round table and was discussing Ein's sudden appearance in Liyue. And he was dominating the market, multiple businesses of theirs even had to shut down due to the overwhelming success of Ein's walmart. Although he was supporting the small businesses and invested in them.

"He's going to sign a contract that he won't harm Liyue, it's pretty broad. But he says he will change it accordingly and then sign the revised contract." Ningguang said to the other 6, she was the one responsible for Liyue's order after all so she headed the meeting.

"Hmm, he hasn't violated any laws and is immaculate in spacing in architecture. I think he is experienced in this, we will be at a major disadvantage if we force anything more on him. He already have branches on Inazuma and Mondstadt, Liyue would lose a lot if he closes his shop here." Keqing commented, not wanting to travel to shop in his store.

And before someone else could speak. Ein entered the room, looking straight at Ningguang. "Nyahallo everyone, I got business with that sexy lady over there." He pointed at her and she was surprised by his boldness.

Everybody was in shock, not able to say anything. "Here's the contract Ningguang, I've signed it already. Now let's go, I don't have time for this crap." He passed a copy of the contract as everybody reviewed it. The clauses and rules were immaculate, no holes whatsoever.

But Keqing intervened. "Ein-san. This is a meeting of the Qixing, you can't just barge in here and take Tianquan like that." She chided him, but he shrugged.

"I got a date you see. And preparations are ready. Sweet rain darling, I'll take you out later after I finish with this lady here okay?" He looked at Ganyu that was downtrodden and gave a lunchbox to her. She immediately perked up, but then she felt complicated about it.

"And you, cat buns. Don't be too serious, lighten up a bit you know? Or you'll grow old quickly." He appeared behind Ningguang and put his hand on her shoulder, she then disappeared with him like they weren't even there in the beginning.

"Ganyu-san. Is Tianquan alright? He didn't kidnap her right? Keqing asked with concern and Ganyu just smiled wryly. "She's fine, she'll return after a few hours for sure... But he's taking her to a date huh? I'm falling behind." She muttered and was planning something.

Ningguang was shocked and her soul almost left her body when she saw that they were in Inazuma. "Uhhh, Ein... This is Inazuma right?" She nervously asked, the news of the vision hunt decree stopping hasn't gotten to the other countries yet after all.

"Yeah? Why are you nervous? This place is actually celebrating a festival, don't worry. And the archons here are my friends." He smiled and patted her head. It was strangely soothing and calmed her down. But she remembered she was a grown ass woman and swatted his hand off.

"I'm a respectable lady Ein. Please don't treat me like a child." She pouted at him and he laughed then pinched her cheek. "So uptight, we're here to enjoy the day you know? Loosen up Ningguang."

She thought about it and she couldn't remember the last time she went on a vacation. Tied down to Liyue with work and responsibilities. "Hah, I guess you're right. I will try." She sighed and cracked a small smile.

"That's the spirit, now how about I introduce you to my friends here?" He then teleported again to the grand Narukami shrine and saw Ei, Makoto, and Yae playing poker for a high stakes bet. Who will be the bikini model for their calendar merch.

"Ein-sama? You're here, that was quick." Ei and Makoto looked at him and his companion, while Yae face palmed. Thinking that Ganyu has to step up her game.

"Yo dayo. You know me Ei, Makoto. I like things to be quite quick. This is Ningguang by the way, one of the Qixing from Liyue. Basically a leader there." He shrugged and introduced the human.

Ningguang got nervous as she was face to face suddenly with an archon. And it was an archon that killed another god quite recently too, Watatsumi island's god to be exact. Splitting an island in the process when it tried attacking Inazuma to get some more land for the produce poor Watatsumi.

"Ohh? Then we welcome you here to Inazuma child. Do enjoy the festival that will be held today." Makoto greeted her and smiled.

"Un... I will, thank you." She couldn't retort that Makoto called her a child and just gave a wry smile. "Okay then girls, we'll be on our merry way. I'll hang out here later once my business with her is done okay?" He left with Ningguang as they said their goodbyes.

Something then clicked in her mind and it's the way the twin archons address him. "Wait a minute... Did they just call you master?" Ningguang thought she was just hearing things, but she started having doubts on who he really is.

"Well yeah? It's because I am? But that isn't important, Rex Lapis calls me like that too. Now let's go and enjoy the festival." He patted her head and she was shocked to the core.

"N-not important... Are you crazy? That piece of information is very important! Countries could go to war or fall because of this piece of information!" She thought that if every country knew the archons had a master. They would be either scared as hell or cause international incidents that would lead to war.

"Ehh, it's fine. People are stupid, but not that stupid Ningguang. And if they are, just take care of them. They don't need to breed, we'll be doing the gene pool here in Teyvat a favor by offing them." He shrugged and Ningguang thought that he must really be a god. Uncaring about worldly matters and would erase anything inconvenient, his mind worked in ways she couldn't understand.

Ningguang short circuited and was getting stressed to high heaven. "Hey, don't stress over it woman. Or you'll grow old and have wrinkles on your face in no time." He poked her between her eyebrows that were creasing from frowning too much.

She started to do breathing exercises and calmed down. "That's it. Relax, stop thinking about work all the time. And besides, nobody Morax, Ei, Makoto, and Barbatos knows what I would do if a country gets any funny ideas. The whole world knew back then, about 2 thousand years ago. And they'll take care of it for me ez pz." He chuckled.

She had a feeling that wasn't a good thing. But Ningguang just did what he told her and didn't think about politics or whatnot. "Hah, lead the way then. This date better be good, I'm already so stressed and we haven't even begun yet." She massaged her temples.

"Of course! You'll remember this day for the rest of your life." He pinched her nose and his words made her smile a bit.

They then went to Inazuma city and started to admire the nature. The blooming sakura trees were a sight to behold and Ningguang thought it was more enjoyable to see the trees with pink leaves in person. "Pretty right? It almost looks fake when you see it for the first time." He said and she nodded.

"Umu, they do look nice and calming." He then gestured her to follow him and they went under a tree. The river flowing nearby gave the area a nice ambiance.

Ein then took out a violin and smiled at her while she sat at the base of the tree. He played dearly beloved to match the calmness of the surroundings.

She listened intently and closed her eyes, enjoying the music while being surrounded by nature. Something she didn't do much while in Liyue. Ein played skillfully and with perfect intonation, making Ningguang nostalgic from the melody. Remembering her time shen she was poor, but it made her happy everytime someone purchased her wares.

"Did you like that? Pretty nice no?" He smiled at her and Ningguang nodded, now in a good mood. "Umu, I'd have to say that I did not expect you to be a musician. And that instrument, it looks and sounds majestic." She was getting ideas to sell it and he chuckled at her.

"Nope, we're not close enough for me to hand over one of these bad boys. Maybe if you entertain me more or if we get closer~" He went close and whispered.

"Hmph, never mind then. And you're the one that invited me to this date did you not?" She puffed her cheeks and pouted at him. "Sure did, now how about we roam around more for the festival?"

They went to the heart of the city and went to change their look, Ningguang now wore a kimono and haori. She also sported a wagasa and carried it around, looking like a true noble japanese woman. (pic here)

"Ooh. That looks good on you Ningguang, looking crisp with those clothes g." He gave a thumbs up and she agreed. She looked amazing and of course, as a woman. She obviously cared on how she looks. Even the tomboy Beidou wore good clothes.

"Thanks, you look dashing as well." He wore a black male kimono and had his hair on a ponytail. "Clothes make a man doesn't it? Now let's go, we have tons to explore and not enough time." He pulled her hand, starting with a stall that sold some takoyaki, his favorite.

"These are little orbs of goodness, nice and crisp on the outside. While fluffy inside, now say ahhh~" He offered one after cooling it down.

She got embarrassed, not used to this kind of affection and fidgeted, looking around if anyone was watching. "Ohh? Why are you so embarrassed Ningguang? Don't worry about it, here. Come on and bite it, it's tasty." He smiled and she slowly put it in her mouth.

"Ohh, this really is good. Give me another." She asked after eating one, he chuckled at her sudden change. "Right? Though this can't compare with my balls. Ahem, takoyaki balls." She deadpanned at him and ate another one.

They then played, winning prizes on game stalls left and right. It was a breath of fresh air for the normally uptight Tianquan and she now has a bright smile on her face. Enjoying her time, she then saw a bunch of kids playing with sparklers. It put a tender smile on her face as she watched on.

"You like kids? I didn't expect that from the Tianquan of Liyue." He teased her. "What? Is that such a bad thing? Children are innocent, happy, and they don't plot against you." She said with a sigh.

"Umu, though they can be quite troublesome." He remembered the kids at home that would wave around their weapons and cause some accidents.

"You sound like you deal with them at a regular basis." She was curious about his life and wants to unravel his mysteries. "Umu, I have numerous orphanages back home. And of course my kids are unruly, they'd destroy continents in accidents if left unchecked." He sighed and Ningguang got surprised, she didn't expect he would have children.

"So... You're married?" Her voice shaked a bit. "Yeah, a man of my caliber has ladies of course, they just can't resist me. What did you expect?" He chuckled and wiggled his brows at her.

She sighed and cursed herself for not expecting something obvious. He not only looked perfect, he also was rich and powerful. "So? Are you trying to get me in that little harem of yours?" She asked with some annoyance.

"Well, my harem isn't really small you could say. And maybe, maybe not. I quite like the career oriented women, so I should probably seduce you with my wiles no?" He put a finger on her nape and she shivered from his touch and her heart beat got faster.

'This man is dangerous. How can I resist this bad man's advances.' She honestly had a good time and was getting more and more curious about him. Feeling conflicted about things as more time went on.

"Well, how about we talk about this later. Look, the fireworks are starting." They went to a vantage point and he took out some milk tea. Enjoying the fireworks with Ningguang while drinking some good boba tea.

"Pretty nice finish to our date no?" He said while the fireworks glimmered in the sky. She looked at it and at him, Ningguang always observed the fireworks alone at Liyue after all and she thought it was nice having a companion.

"I know, since you like Liyue so much. I'll show you a good view, something natural unlike your jade chamber." He held on to her waist and they flew in the sky. Quickly arriving at the mountains of Liyue, it had a view of the lights of the harbor and the cold wind blew. Washing over Ningguang's skin.

"Ahhh, this looks heavenly. It seems that flying has its perks huh?" She giggled and looked over Liyue. "Pretty nice right? Look, I can see your little floating house over there. And my shop looks as prosperous as ever." He laughed and Ningguang looked at his shop, even at night. People came and go, signifying its popularity.

"Un, it surely is. You were right, I had a good time. Thank you for this, I think I needed it." She was stressing on the matters of Liyue and the date was a nice breather.

"Well, it's good and all to take your work seriously. But you should have some rest once in a while, you're human too. Unlike Ganyu that has been supporting Liyue for hundreds of years." She couldn't imagine the scale and smiled wryly.

"Maybe I was working a bit too much, so? This is how we end the day? How about you fly me to the jade chamber?" She asked with a smile and put a finger on his cheek.

"Hmm, maybe you should change how you ask a bit. It didn't motivate me enough~" He held her chin and asked with half lidded eyes that glowed slightly, captivating her.

She closed her eyes and Ein went on for the kill. Kissing her lips lightly as she accepted without much resistance. "Hmm, that's weird. I thought kisses taste like lemon?" She joked and he chuckled.

"Well, the 2nd will surely taste like lemons." He kissed her again and hugged her waist. Ningguang put her arms on his neck and opened her mouth. He changed the flavor of his saliva to lemon candy and swapped some with Ningguang.

After a few seconds, they separated and she had a slightly surprised look on her face. "How did you do that?" She was confused that it tasted sweet and citrusy. "Trade secret~ Though you could avail more right here." He stuck his tongue out and pointed at it.

Ningguang narrowed her eyes at him and tried again, not knowing if she was hallucinating or something. Licking his tongue and entwining it with hers. "I'm not crazy, it really does taste like candy. This is a close 2nd to crazy things that you can do, 1st is teleporting." She shook her head and was about to get a headache on how he does all of it.

"Ahh, don't think about it. Just rest for now." He teleported them into the jade chamber. He gave a peck on her lips one last time. "See you later, I'll leave this here as well. Ganyu really likes these and helps her with work immensely." He left some treats and the scanner with some instruction. Then he disappeared like the wind.

"Hah, that man surely knows how to play with a woman's heart." She then took a cookie that he left and bit on it. Her eyes dilated from how delicious it was and moaned in delight. "He really is dangerous. Good thing he didn't give me one of these earlier..." She then operated the scanner and it printed a picture.

Where she put her arms on his neck and they were kissing, while soft moonlight illuminated their position and the stars twinkled in the clear sky. "How romantic, but nobody can see this." She put it in a box of her valuables and smiled.

"Wait... I wasn't able to ask him about his harem. Damn, he played me like a fiddle huh?" She sighed as she lied down on her bed. Thinking about her day that was undoubtedly something she'd remember fondly.

Ein went to Narukami shrine and saw an unfamiliar face inside. A girl with pale pink hair and blue tips. "Hey, who's the girl Ei, Makoto?"

"She's the leader of Watatsumi island Ein-sama. She came here to solidify our alliance. She's Sangonomiya Kokomi" Makoto explained and some jaws almost dropped to the ground at her words. (feesh here)

"Sh-shogun sama... Did you just address him as your superior?" A short haired girl with jet black wings asked with a shaky voice. (pic here)

The furry behind the Kokomi girl choked on his saliva. He then looked at Ein very carefully. Meanwhile Kokomi was wide eyed and thought of who Ein is.

"Umu, Kujou Sara. Everyone, meet Ein-sama. He was the one who ended the decree and purged the fatui from Inazuma." Ei introduced him and everybody bowed. Even the shocked Sara did like the loyal servant she is.

"You know I don't like formalities Ei. No need to be polite." He sighed and made them loosen up. Sara fidgeted, gathering her courage. "Umm. Ein-sama, may I know who you are to the almighty shogun? Please satisfy my curiosity."

Ei was about to chastise her, but Ein spoke. "Hmm, Ei and Makoto were good friends of mine back in the day. But they were quite the unruly bunch, the 8 of them. I even had to kill one of them because he was rude. And the rest is history." He chuckled.

The mortals almost lost consciousness from his words. 'This man is much more dangerous than I thought... He killed one of the original archons?' Kokomi stewed in her thoughts.

"Ein-sama. That's a part of our dark history, please don't tell other people that." Makoto and Ei pouted at him. He laughed at them and patted their heads. "Sure sure, you asked nicely after all." Yae clicked her tongue and thought she would see Ei or Makoto getting embarrassed with others seeing them in maid clothes.

"As for you girl. You're the leader of Watatsumi? Good on you, you're pretty young after all." He nodded at Kokomi and she bowed her head. Nervous because she doesn't know anything about him and he is certainly above the archons. If him patting the shogun's head wasn't enough evidence, then what is.

"Thank you sir. We were actually talking about the trade and how we will support each other's nations." She quickly put it out as she was getting anxiety. Even though she read tons of military books, politics is not a strong suit for her strategies.

"Relax Kokomi, you and your guard are too tense. You should be like Yae here, nice and cool." He caressed her fox ears. "Ahn~ Ein-sama!" She pouted at him and glared. "I'll be asking compensation for this."

He put her on his lap and petted her ears. "You should consider this a casual conversation. No need for tricks or anything here, if somebody has bad intentions. They'll disappear after all." He gave a bright smile.

Not that it made her or her adjutant any calmer. "A-alright Ein-sama..." They ironed out the treaty and Ein quickly made a contract that was fair for the both of them. He also decided to build a walmart there so the people won't need to travel to Inazuma's main land to shop. He also supplied food to Watatsumi and accepted payments in pearls and other goods.

"Thank you very much for your generosity Ein-sama. This has been a big problem in Watatsumi as we don't have farm lands to plant rice and food." Kokomi bowed once again and He waved his hand nonchalantly.

"How about you tour us there later? I want to see this world's Okinawa. And it apparently existed back then under the sea? Then it must be like Atlantis or something." He was curious about the island.

Kokomi didn't understand what Okinawa or Atlantis was, but she nodded. Their problems were solved for basically free, the least she could do is tour them around the island. "Lady Sangonomiya. Is that really fine? I or other people can do it for you." Her guard said to her but she refused.

"It is okay Gorou. And it is also to show my gratitude to Ein-sama." She said and he didn't argue further. "Okay, let's celebrate then. Eat as much as you want." Ein took out a feast from nowhere as usual and they started a party. Even Ei and Makoto got drunk and was clinging to him saying their thanks for reuniting them.

Meanwhile, a drunk Yae was using his lap as a pillow and he played with her ears as much as he wanted. "Ahhh, when everything is peaceful. Life is so much easier." He enjoyed their time and sipped some milk tea.
