THIS BOOK IS ON HOLD. WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON: IN THE MEAN TIME, CHECK OUT THE RETURN OF HIS EX WIFE "When will you grow up, Jared? This is so annoying. Do you think I didn't hear her setting you up on blind dates? Just because what? I'm now a barren woman? Do you think I like the situation I'm in?" Clarissa spat out her rage. Jared brought a glass of wine to his lips and chugged down the content, letting out a burp. "Well where's the lie?" He said, not meeting her gaze. "Isn't it true? Can you give me a child? Father is getting old, and he always asks for a grandchild. Even mother in her grave must be crying for me right now for marrying wrongly." His words hit her right in the chest like a bullet. Damn it, she might have not even felt anything at all if a real bullet had pierced through her ribcage at a close range. Tears gathered in her eyes and filled it. "Jared? How can you...how can you say that?" She said in disbelief. If Jared felt an inch sorry, he did not show it. Her chest ached and hurt so hard. Determination hit her bones like hard rock. "Fine. Let's call it off then." She said to herself. There was a pen right there so she signed all necessary place and made sure to grant Jared's wish. She'll leave him and start a new life for herself. ——— Clarissa Hart is a great housewife who has loved her husband, Jared, for almost half of her life. Rise of A New Rissa.
Clarissa stepped into the office, glad people were not much that morning yet. "Wow, this is nice." She heaved in a deep sigh once she was in the office, enjoying her company alone. The door opened and Stella walked in.
"Oh, you're here early." She said as soon as she sighted Clarissa. "And your hair, it's shorter."
Clarissa smiled. "It's like a thing for me, where I transform into a better, stronger character. You know, like the main characters in movies and all." Clarissa explained.
Stella nodded like she understood. "Well, it suits you so well." She complimented.
Clarissa had hurried to the salon with her friends the night before, changing her hairstyle into a blonde short style. It suited her even. Her outfit was more neat and classy too in those red high heels and elegant jumpsuit that accentuated her curves in all the right ways. She was proud of herself that morning, and hoped to keep dressing like that from now on.
