Meeting (1)

After having lunch, the planning department arrived with the proposals to be discussed. The President of Incoda Technologies is going to come tommorow in person. People often compare him and Lisa, and say that they are one and the same person. How laughable! Lisa herself doesn't know that person, or so she thought. Little did she know that the person who took away all the light from her life when he went away is going to make a comeback. Let's talk about that later.

She finalized everything and dismissed everyone. When she looked outside the window, she found out that it was evening. She looked at her watch only to find out that it was 6 p.m. She needed coffee immediately. She called her secretary and ordered, "Bring me some coffee. Will you?"

"Sure President."

After a while Lisa thought about that person she encountered in the mall. 'David. Just wait. I shall be coming after you very soon. You played well and I didn't realize. I thought you were my friend. I trusted you and you ruined my life. Thank God , that I didn't share each and everything with you. Otherwise, what would have happened I dare not think. But who is the instigator? Someone is pulling strings behind this. Who could have such enmity with me to do such things to me? I haven't harmed anyone and my other identity is secure. Then who? I need to find out soon, very soon.', she was thinking these when she heard a knock.

"Come in."

"President, your coffee. Also, Sir Jose brought someone and are on their way to your office."

"Ok, you may leave."

As soon as the secretary left, she heard a series of footsteps, followed by a knock on the door.

"Enter."

She was busy signing some documents. She looked up to find Elliot and Jose entering her cabin.

"Finished working?"

"More or less", Lisa said massaging her shoulders.

"Then let's head home."

"Alright.", She gathered all the documents she needed, took her coat and car keys and went with them.

Inside the car, Jose was driving, while Elliot and Lisa sat at the back.

After a long silence, Elliot opened his mouth, "Sorry Soph." He could not find any more words to say. He didn't know how to explain himself.

"It's okay." Lisa whispered.

Elliot was shocked. "What? You actually forgave me?" He couldn't believe his ears. They pampered her the most. So, she always throws tantrums whenever anything happens out of line.

"What? Do you want me to remain angry with you? Okay then, I'm very angry."

"No no.. That's not what I mean."

Lisa raised her eyebrows. She was very amused at his reaction. She thought to herself, "How much did I torment them that he is making such faces?"

Lisa started laughing. Elliot was dumbfounded.

"Has something gone wrong with my brain? Why is she laughing?" Little did he know that she was laughing on seeing his face.

Lisa laughed harder on seeing his confused look.

On seeing Lisa genuinely happy, he threw away all his concern in the air and laughed along with her.

They reached their mansion. Jose went to the basement to park the car, while Lisa and Elliot went upstairs. They found everyone sitting around each other.

"Good evening, Soph? How was your day?"

"It was fine. Good evening everyone."

They chatted for a long while and then went to bed. Everyone was very contented unaware of the storm that is going to wreck havoc.
