HOW IT ALL BEGAN

"Buzzz!!",

went the alarm as the clock strike 7am, I woke up in a jolt. 'oh wow another day of woe' I thought. I quickly got out of bed grabbed my towel and Walk into the bathroom, As the cold water from the shower ran down my body I felt good all of a sudden, sometimes I actually wish I can always feel that way.

Suddenly there was a very loud knock on the door that brought me back from Disneyland,

"I wonder who that is, seriously it's just 7am in the morning" a voice shouted at the person knocking,

'my mom' I sighed. I quickly rushed out of the bathroom too to also know who it was,

"who's the soul banging at my door early this hour, dear lord" she said as I followed right behind her,

"it's your landlord, you better stop cursing at me and open the damn door" the voice from the other side said.

We froze 'oh no not again' I said to myself, she opened the door as we greeted him and my mom apologize for being rude earlier I just kept mute looking at the both of them.

"Save all that crap to yourself woman, where's my money?" he shouted

"I thought we had an agreement, I haven't been paid my salary yet for this month and I've been trying to phone some friends to get a loan, I just need a little more time Sir" she pleaded

"I am tired of all these cooked up stories you give me everyday woman, it's time for you to move out I can't keep doing this with you, you haven't completed last year's rent and for these year you're already four months overdue, how are you going to pay all that tell me" he shouted

On hearing these I joined my mom to plead, no! we can't be thrown out, where are we going to start from,

" Please Mr George, we just need a little more time" I pleaded as tears flowed freely down my cheek at that moment he looked at me and shook his head

"I will give you both just one more month, and I'm being serious this time, if you can't pay me up everything you owe me this time I'll definitely kick you out" he said and left.

I closed the door, I saw my mom sitting on the floor as tears filled her eyes, a lot was going through my head right now I couldn't think of how I was going to console her.

"mom stop it, that's not gonna solve anything" I said to her

"but what are we gonna do now, where are we going to get the money"she said already crying

"mom they'll be a way out, just stop crying already, I really can't bare to see you like this please" I said as I hugged her, "I'll apply for more menial jobs since I haven't been able to get a decent job yet, we'll pull through mom just stay strong for us" I told her

"okay, I won't cry anymore, I'll stay strong" she said as she wiped the test off her face and smiled

"mom I need to get dressed or I'll be late for work" I told her as I walked back to my room

FLASHBACK

"Run, take our child with you, please just go without me it'd for the best Alice" William said as he kissed the little girls forehead

"I love you so much my child, I'm sorry you'll have to grow up without a father" he said as tears dropped from his eyes

"I can't do it William, please don't leave us, I can't raise her alone" she cried with the child in her arms

"Alice I'm doing this for us" he said and pushed both the mother and child into a car

"take them to a safe place" he told the driver,

"ok boss"...

"No Williams, you don't have to do this, will.... Williams!" a gunshot was heard at the background

"NO!!!"
