Chapter 1

(For as long as I can remember, boys have always been attractive in an endearing way. If you ask me, no boy is ugly. I think every dude is hunky in their own way. Sometimes, I deduce I'm cursed due to the fact that no boy, precisely, no boy, has ever noticed me. It's been hard growing up so far, having to worry about everything - my clothes, deodorant, make up, appearance, only to be treated like shit around boys. Maybe, that wasn't so accurate. Boys don't exactly treat me like crap, they don't just notice me, or see me as an option...)

"Luna. You should take this blouse with you." Luna's sister - Nicole Jenkins, asked.

Luna Jenkins was lost in her thoughts, pondering on the fact that she got zero attention from guys.

Nicole saw she was doing it again, so she got hold of Luna's body, pushing her back and forth.

"Snap out of it Luna!" Nicole yelled.

Luna gasped, regaining awareness of the present environment.

"I'm sorry I got lost in my head again Nicole. I'm a mess." Luna said softly.

Nicole drew Luna closer, dropped the blouse she was holding earlier, keeping her focus on Luna.

"You're not a mess Luna. Listen to me, you're not a mess. Life isn't all about boys. Fine, boys are cool, and some can be amazing, but your life shouldn't be on hold because boys aren't tripping all over you" Nicole paused, observing Luna's reaction.

"You are not helping Nicole. So, you're like suggesting I live a lonely, sad ass life, not caring about boys?"

"No..that's not what I meant. I just..."

"It's definitely what you meant" Luna said, walking away from Nicole. She stopped at the mirror hung nicely on the wall in her room.

Nicole ambled along Luna's direction, and stopped just behind her. She wrapped her arms around Luna's waist, giving her warm kisses on her neck.

"Look at me Nicole. Why can't those jerks see how amazing I am, uhh?"

"Boys would come Luna, at the right time. You're just in 9th grade, and young as well. Aren't you like, 14? You can't keep worrying about this. Enjoy this moment of your life instead" Nicole verbalized.

"Easy for you to say" Luna replied.

"Tell you what. Before you get to the 12th grade, you would have had a boyfriend"

"You're my elder sister Nicole. You're the last person that should give me false hopes" Luna still didn't feel encouraged.

"I'm not...It's not..." Nicole was tongue tied.

"You're lucky, aren't you? You're in College, and you have an amazing boyfriend. You've had your first kiss, given a blowjob and a handjob, you've made out a thousand times. You've indisputably had all the experiences, and you're here telling me some jacked up piece of shit"

(Shane Jenkins barges in)

"What goes on ladies" his voice sounding flirty-ish even with his own sisters.

"Not now Shane. Our kid sister isn't feeling okay" Nicole answered.

"Ha ha. Luna wants a boyfriend. Luna wants a boyfriend" Shane sang, sounding ridiculous.

"Get your ass off here Shane. You will only make it worse" Nicole yelled, but Shane wasn't ready to go just yet.

"Come on, Nicole. Luna's been this way, ever since she hit puberty - crushing on every boy she saw me with. Hey Luna, you should know this. The reason you gat no boyfriend is because you're apparently too lame to have one" Shane said, laughing out loud.

Shane was in 12th grade, about three years older than Luna. Even at 17, Shane was hunky as fuck, having bulgy muscles, and amazing abs. He was the definition of a hot 17 year old senior in Hampton High School. Fine, Shane was rude to Luna, but no one could do anything about it.

"Shane! Get your ass off this room right this moment" Nicole screamed, turning to Luna who was already in tears.

"Okay okay, see you later ladies" Shane slammed the door open, and left.

Nicole did all she could to stop Luna's tears, but nothing was working. Except...

"You know what Luna? You're going camping right? Let's get you a boyfriend"

"How. You won't even be there with me" Luna said, through her tears.

"Wipe off those tears, young lady. I have a plan. First, finish packing your stuff"

Luna got rid of her tears, and did as Nicole Jenkins asked her.

"So, what's this plan about?" Luna asked.

(Mrs Jenkins interrupts, rushing into Luna's room)

"What the heck girls. I just got an email from your school. Y'all are going to Moore's creek for camping!" Mrs Jenkins exclaimed.

"What's wrong with Moore's Creek mom?" Nicole asked.

"Everything! The insects, the wild, growing bushes, everything. My little daughter can't be there on her own"

"I won't mom. My best friend Ashley is coming with us" Luna enthusiastically verbalized.

"I can't trust anyone with you Luna. You're not going" Mrs Jenkins concluded.

"But I've packed..."

"No buts. I've said what I had to" Mrs Jenkins said, leaving.

Nicole turned to Luna who looked genuinely disorientated.

"Look, I can help you convine mom. It's past 7am already. You should get to School"

"Okay. Although it seems like I have a lot more problems than boy problems" Luna sighed.

******(Hampton High)*******

"Cluster together students. You heard the bell"

Everyone was asked to gather in the hall, because the School Principal had to say a few things.

"Listen everyone. Our long awaited camping programme for this year is finally here. First thing tomorrow morning, we would head straight to Moore's creek..." Principal Hawkins announced.

"WTF! Freaking Moore's creek?" a student in the crowd inquired.

"Yes. Have an issue with that?" Hawkins asked.

The students murmured, and exclaimed amongst themselves.

"That place is fucking haunted man!" another student said.

"Asides that, how do we cope with food. Where the hell do we sleep, and how the fuck would we have baths" a student from the back said out loud.

"Yeah. It's more like, we would be camping in a freaking forest" Shane, Luna's brother contributed.

The Principal could not let the students go on, so he had to come back in.

"Listen y'all. I don't understand why you folks are making a big deal out of this. Besides, we discussed this with some of your parents who were here at the last meeting, and they were okay with it. We even e-mailed those who weren't at the meeting. So I assumed, your parents must have told y'all already. If it's about the food, and everything needed for survival, Hampton high has got y'all. When we get there, you will see for yourself" Hawkins addressed the students.

"Okay" they said in unison.

"Alright, get to classes y'all!"
