"F*CK"

Charles cursed without him noticing it himself. He closed his eyes trying to remember all the previous incidents when he got coffee from Z. Neither anyone believed it nor Z left any pieces of evidence like fingerprints, digital record was out of the question. Charles was pretty much convinced this time it was the same. But still, he pulled out his phone to dial a number.

"Hello, uncle that brat send another cup of coffee."

The man on the other side got surprised after hearing that and busted out laughing. Which embarrassed Charles to the extent of turning red.

The voice of the other man was firm even in his 50s, he wiped a tear from his eye for a dramatic effect.

"Z hates you. Don't tell me he still remembers the coffee you like?"

The man trusted Charles and didn't question him any further cause there wasn't anything to ask.

"It doesn't matter what sort of coffee he serves me." Charles was annoyed, but not to the extent of throwing away the cup as he had read the note yet. Unconsciously a resolve was formed in his mind he was going to stop drinking coffee.

"Both of you are like tom and jerry. No matter who wins in the end, the fight goes on."

Charles could refute back at all, as nobody could describe his and Z's situation better than his uncle. But one thing was clear from the start both of them were good at holding grudges. He was going to pay Z back for his gift.

An annoying smile on his face as he finished the call and got inside his car. But before driving out he glared at the CCTV at the parking lot. The glare was cold enough to make a normal person scared for his dear life but the silver-haired wasn't affected at all, a playful smiled was formed on his lips.

Charles initial guess was right Z was watching his reaction, cause it was interesting. The teenager turned off the screen as the darkroom he was staying in started to brighten up.

The chair he was sitting on was attached to computer screens and could be folded in any comfortable position he wanted. The room was filled with spare parts of computers, reference material and of course a mini-refrigerator not far as the hacker had many instances of collapsing.

Chase picked up the coffee cup placed beside the chair and exited the room while sipping it through a straw. The room was attached to a simple bedroom while the door was of the secret room was made such that one couldn't tell it apart from the dark blue wall. Chase didn't stop in the bedroom and headed towards the living the reason he was having coffee after dinner was-

As Chase opened the door but a paper blocked his sight. Due to close distance, he couldn't even read the content.

"This is your schedule for tomorrow."

It was none other than the traitor Obi aka his manager, just a mask to keep him around. It was better than Obi was his manager as Chase didn't want to live with a stranger, he was naturally unable to trust a stranger. It was an ability specifically give to him by his father, for which he thanks his father to this day. (Sarcasm guys)

The paper made Chase frown even without reading the list was long as hell. Does Obi not understand he only has 24 hours in one day? But before Chase could say anything Obi moved a step back while putting his hand in the air.

"Don't blame me for it? The higher-ups won't listen to me?"

Chase rolled his eyes not caring for, what this guy had to say. From inside he already knew if Obi wanted it he could convince the higher-ups without even blinking. That kind of the guy he is! A person who could convince even the devil himself. It was such a shame Obi wasn't on his side.

"Kay."

Chase lazily walked past Obi intending to go to the piano placed in the hall. Seeing this Obi seemed uncomfortable. According to him the youngster should have got angry, at least a tantrum. But he could only see the youngster's back view going to the piano and sliding his fingers on the keys with a smile on his lips.

Wait, smile on his lips???

But before Obi could think of anything his phone rang with a familiar ringtone. Just by hearing the ringtone Chase's smile grew wide.

"Did you call her?" Obi couldn't hold back his question.

Chase sighed giving Obi the brightest smile he could. He had learned from practical experience smiles could crush people.

"I just messaged her, she is a busy person."

Obi left the hall in a hurry while cursing Chase's appearance. It wasn't the first time that Chase heard that his angelic appearance didn't suit his devil-like personality. But did he care?

Nope. It was given to him by his mother just like his life, he was a nobody in front of her. How could he complain then?

Chase sat in front of the piano, with his head bowing and started to press the keys. A sweet melody filled the room with his fingers gliding on the piano until he stopped for a brief moment before resuming playing. The music turned cold someone could feel the temperature of the room dropping while his eyes were fixed only on one thing. His goal.
