Chapter 1 – Enter Teyvat!

*Footsteps Echo*

"Aether, we have finally arrived at a new world." said Lumine with a bright smile on her face. Aether looked at Lumine's bright smile.

"Yes, my dear sister hopefully this world could become our eventual home." Replied Aether.

Lumine shook her head "No, wherever you are. Wherever we are, if we are together, it will be our home." She looked at her brothers face endearingly. Aether, hearing that had a smile on his face.

The siblings were interdimensional travelers who have been travelling and jumping between world for God knows how long. They did not have any family other than each other, when they were born, they were left stranded. A helpful old lady had given them shelter and food until they were old enough to walk before, she had succumbed to an illness.

Ever since her death, the siblings have been fending for themselves having to rely on nobody but each other. Their bond was tested by years and has become something unshakeable. Aether sighed "Well then Lumine, let's get to this next world now."

"Alright"

*BOOM*

"LUMINE! GET BEHIND ME NOW!" Aether shouted as he sensed the immense power coming from the explosion.

A figure appeared, floating in the air.

The figure had a beautiful face, it was stunning. Simply out of this world, her face was so beautiful that it seemed to make the world around lose its colour.

Aether felt his soul being sucked out of his body.

*SMACK*

"Stupid brother, this woman just attacked us! What are you staring at her so lovingly for?" grumbled Lumine.

Aether came back to his senses from that slap on his head. Aether nodded, 'Thank God, Lumine made me regain myself. This woman is dangerous."

An enchanting voice rang out in the air "Travelers, your journey ends here."

Lumine "Who are you?!"

"I am the sustainer of heavenly principles; the arrogation of mankind shall end now!"

*BOOM*

A cube appeared in the stunning woman's hands.

*RUMBLE RUMBLE*

Aether and Lumine quickly jump of the platform they were on as a large cube appears. Aether and Lumine summon their swords and get ready to attack the woman.

*SHING*

The unknown woman raised her hands and large cubes started moving towards Aether and Lumine. The siblings fly, dodging all the attacks.

*BOOM*

The siblings reach the woman raising their swords to attack. The woman blocks their attacks.

Aether and Lumine were shocked at her strength

"Hmph" the unknown woman suddenly let go of Aether. Her cubes started to surround Lumine, completely absorbing her into a cube.

Aether who witnessed that scene screamed in rage and shock "LUMINE!"

He mustered up his most powerful attack and retaliated, flying to the back of the woman and raised his arm to attack.

*BOOM*

The woman used her cubes and dodged Aether's attack, surrounding him in cubes.

Aether could feel himself losing all his strength, he felt unbearable pain as he could no longer sense his sister's presence. Screaming in sorrow "GIVE ME MY SISTER BACK!" he screamed continuously at this woman he had initially found so beautiful.

He felt hatred.

He only felt hatred for this woman in front of him.

The woman still had a cold look on her face, staring down at the powerless Aether stuck in her cubes.

"Hmph, you are too weak."

Aether could feel himself getting dizzy, his eyes started to droop. He could no longer control his body as he felt himself moving away from the woman.

"NOO!!!! LUMINE!!!!!"

"And that was the last thing I could remember, I found myself stranded on this beach when I woke up. I have no idea regarding where I am or how long I have been here. "Aether said in a sombre voice.

"I see, it's okay Paimon is here now. I will help you on your journey to find your sister, you saved my life so Paimon will repay it!" a cute squeaky voice sounded out.

Aether looked at the loli floating in front of him.

A few days ago, when Aether was fishing for some food. He had fished out this loli by accident. She has been keeping him company ever since. Aether had no idea as to what sort of creature she was, but he felt better about having a companion. Although Paimon could be annoying, the good thing was that she was very cute.

"Alright, come on then Aether. Let me give you a brief breakdown on where we are and what we can do to find your sister." Aether realizing that Paimon knew about this world got excited.

"Paimon, my queen please tell me more! How can I find Lumine and that woman?" Aether said with a sly and flattering voice.

"Ugh, what are you speaking like that for?" Paimon grumbled.

"Well then, my dear Traveler. Welcome to the world of Teyvat!" said Paimon with a grandiose tone.
