Prologue

Pallet town

In an average sized house, a 9-year-old boy was sitting looking out the window. He looked to seemingly stare into the space in front of him. His name was Ash Ketchum, the son of Red Ketchum and Delia Ketchum.

Ash's POV

'Today, dad had come home after a whole week of doing work and, we ate mom's tasty food to celebrate his return. When I came back into my room, I saw a square shaped transparent box with three lines in the corner of my vision. Wherever I moved my head, the box followed. I then tried to touch the box but nothing happened, then I started to concentrate on the box and the box disappeared to be replaced by a screen with many words written on it.'

Ash nearly freaked out after seeing words hanging in the air, but he didn't scream like a girl, at least. He then calmed down and started carefully reading the words. He was confused and baffled after seeing the words. As before, he tried to concentrate on the first word, and then the words in front of him changed again.

Ash was completely overcome with shock after seeing this. He was hardly even able to remain calm and think about anything. After sometime he calmed down and started thinking.

'What is this? There are all words like cheats, research, and, inventory, etc; and what are all those options in the cheat dialogue box? Does this mean that I can get all these items, but how is it possible, especially the Master Ball, because it is one of its kinds and dad has it. All research data on Master Ball was destroyed according to dad and this screen shows that I can get unlimited amount of it, but the option is locked currently.' He began hyperventilating, but brought out of his reverie by a knock on his door.

No One's POV

"Ashy, are you fine, you have been very quiet for some time?" Delia Ketchum asked standing next to her was her husband, Red Ketchum, the strongest Pokémon trainer and Aura Guardian in the world. Furthermore, he is also the prince of Rota Kingdom's Cameran palace.

"I am fine, mom, you can come in." Ash shouted after hearing his mom's worry filled voice. Ash then looked at both his father and mother, who had entered his room. He then suddenly had a fleeting thought and asked. "Hey mom and dad, can you see any words floating in the air?" Red and Delia were confused after hearing Ash say that, but nonetheless replied.

"No Ashy, we can't see any words, are you fine? You don't have a fever or anything, right?" Delia replied, and then she came forward and placed her hand on Ash's forehead. "Seems like you are fine honey, must be an illusion." She said.

Despite agreeing with her mother externally, Ash was thinking something else because, he could still see the screen and words in front of him. He decided to remain quiet and not tell about the screen to anyone for now, or maybe forever.

Ash then looked at his father and asked him, "Dad for how much time, will you be staying this time?" Red looked sheepish at the reminder of his being absent from home, but he still replied, "Don't worry son, I am on leave till you start your Pokémon journey next year. We will be spending time as a family, and we will also be visiting your relatives in Rota Kingdom and Saffron, with your stepmother and stepsister."

From this reminder, Ash remembered about his beloved stepmother Green Ketchum and stepsister Leaf Ketchum. Even though Green was his stepmother, he loved both his real mom and stepmother equally, and they always loved Leaf and him equally too. Furthermore, his mother Delia and stepmother Green were real blood sisters. So, in a way, Green was both his Aunt and stepmother. Additionally, he many more relatives such as his Aunt Diana Ketchum and Cousin Ilene Ketchum in Rota, Maternal Grandfather Samuel Oak who lived in Pallet town as well and Maternal uncle Blue Oak with his wife Ivory Oak and their children Daisy Oak and Gary Oak, lastly there was his Maternal Aunt Lily Evans married to Richard Evans, the current Gym Leader of Saffron city and their daughter Sabrina Evans.

Ash snapped out of his thoughts and replied to his father, "Sure, Dad." With this conversation ending, both parents said goodnight to their son, and left for their own reunion and fun time, to the obliviousness of their son. Ash was still thinking about the screen in front of him, when he concentrated on the Peak Potential Human body option. This seemed to cause a sudden change in Ash's body, both externally and internally. Ash's brain started working faster and, he got a rather impressive improvement in his eyesight. Furthermore, there were many other notable changes such as his brown colored eyes changing to the darkest black, his hairs taking a more prominent raven color, and his body becoming lean and slightly fit as it can be for a nine-year-old boy.

Ask quickly went to the mirror in his room, after feeling changes in his body and was surprised to see changes in his eye color, hair color, and, body. Ash then felt tired from all the changes and went to his bed. He was dead tired, even without any exercise. He quickly dozed off and went to the dream world. While all the changes took place and Ash slept he didn't notice that all the Aura and Psychic energy in his body was awakening and increasing at a very rapid pace, this awakening and increase attracted the attention of Humans and Pokémon's alike. In the next bedroom, Red and Delia noted this peculiar incident first.

Red and Delia's POV

"Darling, can you feel it?" Delia asked her husband after sensing the awakening of her child's power. She was astonished after she noticed that this power was coming from Ash's room. She became even more shocked when she felt both Aura and Psychic powers.

"I can, Honey." Red replied and with a nod, Delia teleported both herself and her husband to Ash's room. There they saw Ash sleeping, and both Aura and Psychic rolling from him like waves. They even noticed the changes that occurred to his body. They chalked it up as a result of him awakening his powers. Just as the powers appeared to calm down, some figures appeared in the room, but Red and Delia didn't react on seeing them as the figures that appeared were none other than, Prof. Samuel Oak, Kanto Champion Blue Oak, Green Ketchum, Richard and Lily Evans, and, lastly a Mew.

Then the Mew said, "So, it seems that the Chosen One has awoken his powers."
