Chapter 77: Condition to Protect.

"Attack!"

Instantly, Kurono was bombarded by several elemental attacks. Seeing those attacks coming at him, Kurono just smiled and stretched out both of his hands. He then controlled those attacks to return back to it's owners.

"What?"

The five Hanuman was surprised, and hurriedly evaded those returning attacks. After that, they once again bombarded Kurono with many of their elemental attacks. The same thing happened again. The attacks returned back to them. This time however, the first several elemental attacks combined together with the second ones to bombard the five monkey.

"Argh!" "Urgh!" "Gah!"

The five Hanuman were in disarray after getting attacked by their own elemental attacks. The four clone disappeared into smokes, leaving only the original Hanuman.

"Do you have anymore attack?" asked Kurono, smiling at the monkey.

"You are good, human. However, I haven't lost yet."

Once again, Hanuman used his fur to create four clone. Seeing this, Kurono cannot help but said to the monkey, "Using the same attack on me will not give you any advantage, the result will turn out to be the same."

"It's different this time." replied Hanuman.

The five of them then formed a circle, and moved in rotation. From a slow pace, they then rotated faster and faster. Kurono didn't know what they are up to, but just let them complete whatever they intended to achieve.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, a portal was opened inside the circle, on which the five were rotating. When the portal appeared, the five stopped rotating. They then hold out their palm, and said, "I'm summoning the Monkey King!"

A shadow started appearing, and then transformed into another armored monkey. The new monkey looked around and saw Hanuman.

"Yo cousin. Wassup?"

"Wukong, I need your help to defeat that guy." replied Hanuman, while pointing at Kurono.

"A Titan? Why are you fighting such opponent?" asked Sun Wukong.

"He came to my place, and attacked me." answered Hanuman.

"Then, we have a reason to defeat him."

"We need to fight together. That guy is too powerful." warned Hanuman.

"Alright. I would go all out from the get go then."

"I will do my hardest too."

While the two were talking their strategy, Kurono on the distance was observing the new summoned monkey. He asked Tensho, "Tensho, do you know who's that other monkey?"

"That is an alien that was summoned from outerspace. His name is Sun Wukong, and he is also worth 300 pts." replied Tensho.

"Wow! These two are jackpots." said Kurono, feeling happy that there are another additional 100 pointers here. "Should I ask that Hanuman to summon more monkey that worth 300 pts?"

"You know, those two are not hostile towards human." reminded Tensho. "Although Hanuman stayed here in Earth, he was not invading. He was here to answer the prayers from the Indian people."

"Prayers? What kind of prayers?"

"You know those kind that asking for something that related to elemental needs, such as rain."

"Now I feel bad. Did I pick the wrong target to hunt this time?"

"I guess so."

"But those 300 pts is too attractive."

"... whatever. You do what you want Dad."

Tensho then cut the telepathic conversation.

At this time, Hanuman and Sun Wukong used their fur to create hundreds upon hundreds of clones. They all surrounded the Titan Kurono.

"Becareful. That guy seems to be able to reflect any elemental attacks." warned Hanuman.

"Is that so? In that case, we will use a physical attacks on him."

Saying so, every single one of the Wukong then conjured a golden staff for each of them. Seeing that those Wukong are equipping themselves with a strong staff, Hanuman then decided to conjure his own weapon. It was a long spear, with a large blade on it's front end.

"Let's go! Attack!"

All the monkey then used their staffs, and spears to beat down the big Titan. To their surprise, the Titan turned intangible, and their attacks only hit thin air.

"What?"

"How's that possible?"

Both Hanuman and Sun Wukong exclaimed in shock when their attacks missed their target.

"My turn. Gravity Circle!"

With his body turned into Colossus, Kurono's prowess also increased exponentially, especially his psychic powers. When he enforced the gravitational force, everything within a radius of two kilometers away with him as the center were greatly affected by the gravity.

Plop! Plop! Plop!

Within seconds, every single clones in the area exploded into many smokes, while both Hanuman and Sun Wukong were smashed down to the ground. Both of them were hard pressed to the ground, and being restricted from making any movement. A moment later, the gravitational force vanished.

"Now, do you two admit defeat?" asked Kurono.

"I'm not defeat yet." said Hanuman, standing up again.

"Damn! Are you Tathagata? I hate being pressed to the ground." said Wukong angrily. He then grew bigger, along with his staff.

Wukong jumped up and rotated his staff above his head, and suddenly, smashed it down onto Kurono's head. The staff just passed Kurono's body, and smashed on the ground.

"Again?"

In the instant that Wukong smashed down his golden staff, Kurono stretched out his hand, and clamped it on Wukong's neck. He then pulled the monkey down, and slammed the opponent head on the ground.

Right then, a big spear was swung in a rotation, and passed through Kurono's neck several times.

"Dammit! What kind of ability is that? Can I even kill this guy?" cursed Hanuman.

"It's futile." said Kurono, glancing at Hanuman. He stretched out his other hand and pulled the monkey into his palm, and did the same by slamming him onto the ground.

"I'm sorry guys. But I need your abilities. So, I need the two of you to take a rest first." saying so, Kurono X-rayed their brains and make it explodes. A second later, both giant monkey returned into their small form, laying down dead on the ground.

"Tensho, can you resurrect them as a Gantz Fighters?"

"I can. Let me do it right now."

"Wait. First, transfer me back."

Kurono then got transferred back on the deserted island. He then eagerly asked Tensho, "Hey, give me the abilities of the two guys."

"Two? It will cost you two hundreds points." said Tensho.

"Whatever. The two was worth 600 pts in total. You can cut 200 pts from it."

Tensho complied, and Kurono got what he wanted. Kurono then tested to conjure a staff, and a golden staff appeared in his hands. He smiled when he saw that, and dispersed the staff into thin air.

"Okay, you can resurrect those two as Gantz Fighters." said Kurono.

A moment later, two armored monkey were revived, and standing confusedly in front of the Advanced Black Sphere.

"What's going on? did we die?" asked Sun Wukong.

"Where are we? Did we fall into the cycle of reincarnation?" wondered Hanuman.

"You are still alive." said Kurono, prompting the two to quickly turn to look at him. He just watched the two and showed a smile.

"What do you want? Are you going to kill us?" asked Hanuman, while stepping back to distance himself from Kurono.

"I don't think he wanted to kill us." said Wukong. He didn't back away, and stayed calmly in his place.

"Oh, are you sure?" Kurono constricted his eyes and looked at this second monkey. He showed an intimidating look towards the guy, causing him to become wary.

"If you wanted to kill us, you have already done so a moment ago, but we are still here standing, and alive." explained Wukong. "I think you needed us to do something for you, right?"

"Does he?" asked Hanuman.

"Shh! Cousin, don't break it." said Wukong, talking telepathically to Hanuman.

"What break?"

"I mean, I'm trying to change his mind so that he won't kill us." Replied Wukong.

"What? Are you a coward? That's not how we usually fight?" questioned Hanuman, frowning at his cousin.

"Hey, don't you ever call me coward." rebuked Wukong. "Let me ask you, can you still fight him?"

"Of course I can."

"Can you win?"

"That..."

"Does that guy capable of killing you?"

"I..."

"See. You know the answers. So, be rational, and let just try another approach." advised Wukong.

Kurono saw the two making some kind of expression, and understood that the two were having a telepathic conversation. "Are the two of you in the middle of discussing on how to kill me?"

"No no no."

Both of Sun Wukong and Hanuman hurriedly shook their heads. Wukong then asked, "So, what do you needed us for?"

Kurono was a bit intrigued with this monkey king wits. He then pondered for a moment about what task he wanted to give these two. After thinking for some time, he then said, "I need the two of you to protect my people."

"Protecting? Sigh, why didn't you say from the start?" asked Hanuman, feeling stressed that he was beaten in a fight against this guy. "We could have talked it from the get go, and we could discuss the term of protection."

"That's because I wanted to test your ability to fight." replied Kurono. The real thing is that I wanted to gain your abilities, added him in his mind. He then elaborated.

"Who are we going to protect?" asked Wukong.

"Let me tell you first, human. Right now, I am busy caring for your kind, whose race is called Indian people." said Hanuman.

"Well, you can continue protecting those people." replied Kurono.

"That's it? Then, all this fight are just some pointless scuffle."

"It's not really pointless." said Kurono. "First of all, you helped me to get another helper which in this case, your cousin.

Secondly, I can inform you about what will happen two days from now. There will be some outer space immigrants that will try to invade this planet. I'm telling you this so that you could be prepared to fight these invaders."

"Invaders? I hate invaders." said Hanuman. Wukong also frowned when he heard the term invaders. This caused them to remember the past happening in their own planet.

Wukong then asked, "Are they strong?"

"What I know is that they have some peculiar ability, and some advanced technology." replied Kurono.

"What's technology?" asked Wukong again.

"Er...that..." Kurono looked weirdly at Wukong. Does this monkey not now what technology is? "Hey, do you guys really not know what technology is?"

"I know about it." replied Hanuman. He then glanced at Wukong, and said, " Cousin, I will tell you about technology later."

"...okay." nodded Wukong, feeling curious about what were the two talking about.

"So, that's all I wanted to tell the two of you. As for the protection task, you can just go and protect those Indian people. Let me send you guys back to India." said Kurono.

"Wait. Do we get anything from protecting your race, human?" asked Hanuman.

"Are you asking for rewards?"

"Well, protecting is not a free things. I still need to get some form of rewards."

"Hey hey, if you want to give us some rewards, then I want some technology." said Wukong, still curious about what technology is.

"You got that." nodded Kurono. He then looked at Hanuman and asked, "What about you?"

"I need a place for my race to stay." stated the guy. "I've been trying to help those Indian people, so that I could gain their favor. That way, I may request from them a good place for my race to stay."

"You got some superhuman powers. Why don't you just go and claim a land for you?" asked Kurono. This Hanuman could even control many elemental powers. With those abilities, he should be able to claim some place on Earth, easily.

"That's not something that I wanted to do. I don't want to behave like those invaders that invaded our planet." replied Hanuman. "If you can help us get a safe place for my race to stay, then I'm willing to help as much as I can."

"Your race? Are you some kind of leader?"

"That's correct." nodded Hanuman. "I'm Hanuman, and in my planet, monkeys call me the Monkey God."

"What about you?" asked Kurono, looking at Wukong.

"It doesn't matter to me what monkeys call me."

Hanuman took the liberty to introduce his cousin. "His name is Sun Wukong, and monkeys call him many names. Monkey King, Monkey Deity, The Naughty One, and many more. He is..."

"Okay, okay. I heard you." nodded Kurono, stopping the monkey from blabbering more story. "Let me send the two of you back to India."

"What about the rewards?"

"I suppose I can agree to that."

After that, Kurono asked Tensho to send the two back to India.
