Chapter 1Starting point

As the world terrain generates, a message appears on the screen - "World restarting, world number 2081. Name under Greave. Owner unknown. Type: Heavenly Hell." The message leaves you wondering what kind of world awaits you. Suddenly, a time limit appears on the screen. "Loading entering lobby. World time: Infinite reset (Ten minutes on the timer)..." The clock is ticking, and you can't help but feel a sense of intrigue and anticipation.

WORLD CREATED

....

Suddenly, my head began to spin, as if caught in a whirlwind of confusion. My vision blurred, the world around me morphing into an indistinguishable haze. It was as though I was submerged underwater, the clarity of my surroundings distorted by the rippling waves.

My hearing, too, seemed to have abandoned me. The once clear and distinct sounds were now muffled as if I was hearing them from a great distance. It felt like I was trapped in a bubble, cut off from the world outside.

With great effort, I forced my eyes open, fighting against the heaviness that threatened to pull them shut. The bright lights were disorienting, adding to my confusion. I realized then that I had been in the middle of a conversation. But what had happened so suddenly? The memory was elusive, slipping away each time I tried to grasp it.

Feeling unsteady, I leaned against the nearest wall for support. The cold, hard surface grounded me, providing a much-needed anchor in the storm that was raging within me. Slowly, I began to regain my senses. I strained my ears, trying to pick up any sound that could provide a clue to my current predicament. The world was slowly coming back into focus, one piece at a time. I gained back memory recalling the conversation and joining back in.

"Exactly, what is your power?" The young girl, her hair cropped short, inquired. Her voice echoed in the quiet room as she meticulously cleaned her rifle, the metallic parts gleaming under the dim light. Her eyes, focused and determined, never left her task.

"Well, it's not exactly a power," I boy began, my voice soft yet clear. I leaned casually against the wall, my eyes twinkling with amusement as I watched the girl. "I tend to harness the energy around me, shaping it into any form of useful magic." my words hung in the air, adding a touch of mystery to the room. My gaze remained on the girl, observing her with a cute, almost endearing interest as she continued her meticulous work on her weapon.

"AND, I don't comprehend that. Do you even wield a weapon?" The girl retorted, her task of cleaning the rifle finally complete. She glanced up, her gaze sweeping over the other three individuals in the room, a hint of challenge in her eyes. Her question hung in the air, awaiting an answer.

"No, I don't wield any weapon," I began, My voice steady and calm. My eyes sparkled with an unspoken secret. "I harness the energy and mana from others, extracting it and using it as my own. The fascinating part is, they don't even realize they're weakening." I paused for effect, a small smile playing on my lips. "Sometimes, I utilize the residual energy or even the surplus from adversaries. That energy… I can mold it to my will."

I finished his explanation, hoping I had made it clear enough for the girl to understand. Then, with a warm smile and a slight bow, I introduced myself. "And my name is Hae-Yun. It's a pleasure to meet you." The words echoed in the room, adding a touch of intrigue to the anime-like scene

"I'm Xiāng," the girl responded, her hand meeting Hae-Yun's in a firm handshake before she retreated back to her original position.

"But isn't that akin to sabotaging your own teammates?" The other boy, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up. He was standing next to Hae-Yun, his expression thoughtful. "You can't keep relying on the same power. One day, someone will figure out a way to counteract your ability." His words, though blunt, held a certain truth, adding another layer of complexity to their conversation.

"But, I utilize the surplus energy, the remnants my teammates won't need. It becomes a valuable resource for me," I replied, my voice steady and confident. I paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "I possess other techniques but haven't fully explored them yet. I've attempted to use them, but never quite succeeded in harnessing their full potential." The words hung in the air, adding a new dimension to the character.

"And I'm Mingyu," he retorted, swiftly rising to his feet and glancing at his watch. "It's time for the gates to open, so be ready. It's just us on the field today, I'm certain." His words echoed in the room, a clear call to action that signaled the beginning of their mission. The anticipation was palpable, the air charged with a mix of excitement and tension as they prepared to step onto the field.

With a swift kick, Xiāng roused the old man who had been sleeping peacefully in the corner. "Hey, wake up! Do you want to die?" she yelled into his ear. The sudden outburst jolted him awake, his eyes wide with surprise as he quickly sat up. The quiet of the room was shattered, replaced by a palpable tension as they prepared for what was to come. "Don't disrespect your elders," Hae admonished, his footsteps echoing as he moved closer to the gate. His mind was a whirl of thoughts. 'It does take time for extra energy and mana to be released into the atmosphere. That means there will be moments when I won't be able to defend myself. Perhaps I should request a weapon, a sword or something, for now,' he mused silently, his gaze fixed on the looming gate ahead.

"Does anyone have a sword I could borrow?" Hae asked, his voice echoing in the room.

"Oh yes," the old man responded. Rising to his feet, he extended his hand and closed his eyes. A moment later, a sword materialized out of thin air. With a swift motion, he flung it towards Hae, the blade glinting in the dim light as it spun through the air toward its new wielder.

 ...

The gate stood tall and imposing, a formidable barrier made of ancient, weathered stone. Intricate carvings adorned its surface, telling tales of battles fought and victories won. It was a silent sentinel, guarding the threshold between the known and the unknown.

Beyond the gate lay a vast expanse of uncharted territory. A landscape bathed in the soft glow of twilight, where shadows danced and mysteries lurked. It was a world untouched by time, a realm of endless possibilities waiting to be explored. The air was thick with anticipation, the silence broken only by the distant echo of creatures unknown. It was an invitation to adventure, a call to the brave. And as they stood before it, the gate seemed to whisper in the wind, promising trials, triumphs, and tales yet untold.

The gates slowly lifted.
