Behind the Mask
Himari Yurima can have everything clothes, bags and luxuries but there is a thing that she can’t obtain and that is love. When her sister was born she felt jealous and hurt.She didn’t experience love at all because of the loveless marriage of her parents, but when her sister show up, her sister was loved and cared by their parents. She was jealous to her sister because that is the love that she can’t gain. When her 10th birthday comes she was about to wear her dress but one of their maids call her after that she was knock out and become unconscious.She only saw black and feel chills to her surroundings then she heard a footsteps.She was awake by the cold water that showered her, she was punch and kick by those men then behind those men were her mother, then her mom walk near to Yurima and pinch her chin and said,
“My dear Yuri I think Akari is enough to us, don’t be nervous I think your lucky enough because I’m not going to kill you at all even though your father want you to die.” She put away her fingers to her chin and look to her eyes with displeasure and disgust look. "I will let you escape but you should not show up to our manor again or else your father will be the one who will kill you.”After her mother said that she walk away like nothing happened at all. When she heard the car engine leaving, she walk slowly and leave to the warehouse, when silent cover the night, she saw a magnificent view, a full moon and a sea.
‘No one will cared about my existence at all, what is the reason for me to still live?’she said to herself while the tears keep flowing to her cheeks.
She jump to the sea and feel suffocated, she know that she didn’t deserve this kind of treatment, ‘I don’t do anything that will disappoint them at all. I do everything they said to me like playing piano and violin, study hard, read books learn how to do math and learn some different language, I do that kind of thing without a complaint, but why?’ After that she slowly close her eyes and become unconscious.
Then there is a dream she can hear sounds, it is like sound of the hospital monitor for heart beat. She was awake by the bright lights and the discussion of the doctors.
‘I thought I was dead, so someone see me drowning I don’t know should I call it blessing or curse.’
