Chapter - 2

The three men were standing at a large open area on the outside of town. It had convenient highway access but plenty of room for any needed expansion. The first man said, "This really is the perfect spot, but is it perhaps to spacious?" The second man answered, "Oh, that's because this area was originally meant for a franchise amusement park, Kandyland I believe, but a incident at their flagship park stopped them from breaking ground."

The third man said, "Their loss is our gain, the animatronics will be here tonight, and the Happy Man get started as soon as he arrives. Despite having to give the engineer massive compensation for the loss of his eldest son and the time performance bonus, as well as the late addition fees. The fact that we paid all of it with the money we seized from the former board members secret slush funds accounts and the fact we no longer have to pay their large salaries and massive yearly performance bonuses we will actually come out ahead in this. Especially if the Happy Man works as promised."

The other two nodded in agreement they had the groundbreaking ceremony an hour ago. They agreed to meet back there in four days to check the progress.

A rather large, and somewhat round man drove up to the construction site in a pick-up truck. He was in a foul mood, why? Because he was the owner of the construction crew that usually did all the work for Fazbear Entertainment. From the original Freddy Fazbear Pizza, to its sister location, even the mega pizzeria that had housed the Glamrock Crew.

Next to him was a little weasel of a man who was his Forman/Yes man/Stooge. They had immediately left for this place after they learned that the very lucrative contract that they thought was going to handed to them was in fact given to someone else. Sure, he had cut corners, skimmed a few dollars, like putting in a substandard generator or put in wiring that was prone to fail at inconvenient times. But this new project was going to be even more extensive. He had gotten an early look at the plans. Officially to estimate cost, but also to see where he could cut corners and pocket the difference.

Said project started two nights ago. They had gone there to perform some spiteful and vengeful sabotage. After all, you should never get between a man and his money.

The weasel asked, "Boss, you sure this is the right approach?" The boss annoyed answered, "Of course, we'll mess with their cement mix, the foundation will get screwed up, they get delayed, we swoop in knowing how to solve the problem, and then we can charge more as a correction fee, and as extra punishment for not using us from the beginning, we'll take the entire payment up front and then charge more at the end for unexpected costs." They grabbed a pair of flashlights and began to investigate the site. First, they would see how far a long this job was.

The boss's plan to sabotage the foundation fell flat the moment they entered. All the groundwork had been dug, the concrete was already poured and had set; they were working on the framework for the walls as well as the work for the second floor. The boss cursed, randomly demanding to know how they got so much done in just two days, especially in such a large area. Once word got out on how effective these guys were, his own company would go under in a matter of days.

The weasel pointed out the two seemingly random holes in the ground. The boss said, "Those obviously lead to the basement, if I remember right that was where the repair bay was going to go." The boss thought for a moment and then said, "Follow me."

They entered the basement. There were two entrances one was a staircase the other looks to be a service elevator. The boss was going use dynamite to collapse everything, he just had to see the best location to ruin this place. However, when they looked around, they found two things out of place. On one side there was two heavy looking doors with a picture of Freddy saying, "For your own safety do not enter."

On the other side was a hole the size of a door, they entered. The found the wall to be a meter thick, including the part that would act like a door. On the floor of the opening was two rails that connected the concrete door. On the right there was a hallway with several small rooms. They didn't check the room on the left.

The boss began immediately to try to leave. He had been around long enough to recognize an area no one is meant to know about. The way it was setup, even if they told people about it there wouldn't be any way to prove it. Something dark was happening here and if he didn't leave right now, then he never would.

They heard someone do a fake cough and immediately turned around. There they saw what looked like a man in a mask. The man said, "It is most unfortunate that you two came down here."

The boss and weasel looked at each other, confused by the strangely dressed man. Then the man took his cane and pressed the lower end against the weasel's neck. The little man suddenly fell back twitching, then the cane was immediately swung to hit the boss's knees and elbows, instantly dislocating them.

The boss howled in pain, then the masked man opened the heavy doors, grabbed them both by their necks and them dragged the two of them inside. Their injuries meant there wouldn't be any struggling, only screaming, and it could barely be heard before, but after the doors were closed, it was only silence.

/////

After closing the doors, H.M. made two taps with his cane and said, "Alright the intruders are gone, time to get back to work." Dozens of the little helpers came out of the little opening. Once up top they began expanding and growing bigger. In heavy construction mode they were roughly seven feet tall and were capable of lifting ten tons.

H.M. began to alter the local footage to make it look like they were never here. He found their truck, while it did have a GPS locator, that man appeared to have shut it off probably to hide his questionable movements. It was child's play for him to remove the GPS, alter its data, and send it to a faraway location. Getting rid of the truck un such a manner that if found by anyone, they would be unaware that it's anything other than a abandoned truck, even more so.

As the Happy Man finished his self-appointed tasks he thought, 'This place wouldn't just be a refuge where kids would have unlimited fun and be free from the worries of the world and if home, but this will be my new home for me and my new family, where we get to be happy. And woe to any fool that threatens it.'

The three suits showed up at the site and were amazed by the progress. The outer walls, roof, and even some of the simpler decorations were already complete.

A quick tour revealed that everything was on schedule, and they would be able to open up to the public next week. The three men were excited. The main animatronics were outside in special trailers ready to be brought in. The daytime staff of Staff Bots would arrive tomorrow. In four days, this place would be done, and in another three they would be welcoming their first customers. They immediately contacted an advertising firm to get the word out.

/////

"Hey, KP, did you hear? Their opening up a new pizza place." Kim turned to see her boyfriend Ron look all excited. She smiled at his childish nature and said, "Yes Ron, the advertisement for it is everywhere. It's even on the message under the school sign."

Ron said, "Oh come on, how can you not be excited, this place is going to be even bigger than the mall, The Mall! And it's opening this Saturday." Kim stopped for a moment and said, "Didn't they start construction last week? How can they be almost done?"

Kim pulled out her communicator and called Wade. A young prodigy, graduated college at ten years old, Kim trusted him to manage her website, as well as provide information and tech support when needed. After a few rings, he answered and said, "Hey Kim, what's up?" Kim asked, "Hey Wade, listen, can you look up this new place being built, it's scheduled to open this Saturday, but I could swear that they only started construction last week, please and thank you."

Wade type a few things and then said, "Okay, Freddy Fazbear Entertainment appears to be a rather minor pizza franchise, with its only claim to fame being its state-of-the-art animatronics. I mean seriously they're said to be so advanced you could mistake them for being actually alive." Then Wade's face got serious when he said, "They have had some suspected ties to some missing children, as well as reports of the night staff either go missing or getting committed to a insane asylum. However, it appears to be clean of any such problems for the last few years."

Wade scrolled further and then said, "This new place is supposed to be fully automated from construction to the service. Bringing in the original Freddy Fazbear to the latest version and everything in between. The fact that it's all automated might explain how it's being built so fast, despite its size."

Kim nodded and said, "Thanks Wade, I'm not going to lie, this seems like one of those things one of my arch villains would try and take advantage of, so, can you do me another favor?"

...

Kim and Ron were standing in front of the newly created building. Above the entrance was a sign with several different humanoid animals looking like they were welcoming them. The sign itself said, "Welcome to the ultimate Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria."

Ron stood there for a moment looking at the sign and then he looked at Kim and said, "Kim, While I like the idea of a VIP tour of a new restaurant a day before it opens, why are we really here? And in mission clothes no less. I mean what are the chances that one of your enemies would have an interest in this place." Kim answered, "Look I just have this feeling. I mean this place is huge, easily half the size of any major amusement park. If you throw in the fact it was built in little over a week. With our track record this place will either have a new villain for us to face or it will be the target of one or more of them. I mean can you imagine the kind of lairs Drakken could make, if he stole the machine responsible for this. Don't you want to make sure that this is not the case?"

Ron thought for a moment, then gave a reluctant nod. As they entered, they found themselves impressed by the place, they thought it looked big from the outside. Then their attention turned to a man in a patchwork suit, leaning on a cane.

As they approached, the man said, "Hello there, are you two the individuals I was told to expect?" Kim nodded and said, "Yes, I'm Kim Possible and this is Ron Stoppable." The man slightly lifted his hat and said, "Yes, and I am the Happy Man. You can call me H.M. for short."

Kim was slightly confused for a moment by this man's behavior, he looked human, but he wasn't really acting like it, until she remembered something that Wade said. She looked at him for a moment and then she asked, "I don't mean to sound rude but, are you a living person... or are you actually a robot?" H.M. looked at them for only a moment, his eyes showing only the briefest sign of annoyance before saying, "Personally, I prefer to be called an animatronic. If this confusion was caused by the fact that I'm not on any of the posters, it's because those are reserved for the stars of our show."

Kim was taken back by that statement. This individual was a self-aware machine. H.M. began giving them the tour, as Kim began to feel self-aware of just how many mechanical eyes were actually on her. While she quietly looked for signs of security measures, she couldn't help but feel that the entertainers were silently watching, almost judging her."

Outside of the pizzeria, was a small flying saucer carrying two people. One was a man who was blue from head to toe, from his suit to even his skin. The other was a woman who wore a suit of black and green, her skin had a light tint of green.

The woman asked, with barely any interest in her voice, "Dr. Drakken, why are we here? Certainly, we're not here for the kitty rides and stale pizza." Drakken looked at his partner with an annoyed look and said, "Shego I've already told you. This company has a machinery capable of preforming major, heavy construction in the span of a week. With that technology I can create lairs all over the world for free. You're here to steal the plans, I'm here to make sure they are the right ones. This is a stealth mission; they can't know we were here. Or else they'll have Kim Possible take them back."

Shego just rolled her eyes, but she didn't give another response, mostly because that they would be stuck longer on this stupid mission. Drakken landed the vehicle, and activated a cloaking device he stole last week.

They attempted to sneak in, but unknown to them next to the entrance/exit was a gift shop, in that shop was a giant present completed with wrapping paper and bows. The important thing was that in the present was Puppet. The moment he noticed them he sent a signal letting the Happy Man know they had intruders.

Drakken and Shego made their way looking for any doors marked "employees only" after all Drakken argued that "That must be where the keep the schematics for their robots." The Happy Man heard them through the cameras, he was not pleased.
