Big Brother Eddie

Time passed very quickly. The next day sun started rising beautifully in the charming morning sky. Evelyn tossed several times on her bed before eventually gave up struggling and obeyed her annoying alarm on the bedside table. Then she tried to wake her sleeping beauty up who was sleeping soundly while spreading her legs to the both sides like a crashed frog.

"Hey, wake up idiot, it's today. We have to get ready now before leaving"

"Leave me alone pignose"

"Who's pignose? I have a pretty nose unlike you"

"You..."

"Hey wake up now"

"Okay okay you want to leave me so badly right? Then I'll do the same"

Maria jumped out of her bed and started brushing her teeth. Evelyn looked at her friend's childish behavior helplessly.Then after two hours battle of getting ready they left their room for their depature. "How are you planning to leave? " Maria asked out of concern. "My brother will pick me up" "Oh I want to meet your big handsome brother. You have to introduce us. Who knows we will be sister-in-laws in the future" Evelyn rolled her eyes so hard that they seemed to fall to the floor."Seriously Maria?! You want to marry every single guy you get to know. I pity your boyfriend."

"You single dogs are jealous of me." "Who's jealous? You think we have no work than envy your shamelessness" "Hey Evelyn! Wait for me right there- I'll chop you to death I swear." "Stop your poem Mari Maria heh heh hee" Evelyn giggled. Maria started chasing after Evelyn. Evelyn too started running and bumped hard into a guy who approached towards them. He was Jared, Maria's boyfriend.

"Sorry" She whispered awkwardly. "It's very okay beautiful" he waved his hands nonchantically. "Hey whom you called beautiful?" Maria asked angrily. "Ofcaurse this beauty infront of me who has big diamonds like blue glittering eyes and golden thick silky hair"

Evelyn: "..."

Maria:"Hmph are you flirting with her right infront of your girlfriend you rascal!?" Jared shruggled his shoulders.

Evelyn: "You two are so matching for eachother. Both are shameless heh heh..."

Jared : "As you say milady."

Maria rolled her eyes then the trio started laughing like bells. Other students glanced at them enviously. One is the top student and number one university beauty Evelyn. She was so beautiful and smart. She wanted to become an actress but she left her dream as her parents disagreed with her. But everyone knows that with her looks and abilities she probably can be one of the number one talented actresses in the entertainment industry.What a pity!

Other one is the university heartthrob,Jared. He initially confessed to Evelyn and failed. Then he persued Maria and gradually won her heart. Maria was also beautiful and intelligent. So they naturally envied them.

"Oh why are you guys laughing so hard? Can I know the reason so I can laugh with you."A melodious voice rang behind them. They turned to the person who talked. "Big brother!!!" Evelyn yelled and rushed towards him and hugged him tightly. Other girls gasped. "No wonder Evelyn is this beautiful! This must be the genes! Her brother is soooo sooo soo so handsome!!!" They exclaimed while blushing.

"Hi beauties!" Evelyn's brother greeted them. Then he winked at them attractively making their noses bleed. 'Gosh! Everyone around me is so shameless including my own foolish brother' Evelyn thought. 'Will I also be shamless as them? Oh buddha save me!'

"Hey big brother I was craving to see you." Maria sweetly talked to him. Evelyn quickly looked at Jared. Sure enough his face became dark like the bottom of a pot. "Are you getting revenge from your bf bestieee?" Evelyn asked sarcastically. Maria rolled her eyes. "Nonsense, I'm just talking with this handsome." Evelyn's mouth twitched. 'Oh no another poem quote! She's a poetry who drives people crazy with her poems!'

"Hey hey stop now, will you?" Jared said annoyingly. Hmm looked like he was about to reach the end of his limit.

Evelyn didn't want to start quarrels on the last day. So she quickly clinged onto her brother's arm. "Big brother Eddie, Let's quickly go home, I want to see my loving parents so much." She pleaded with her puppy eyes.

'Eh I had to plead this scummy brother of mine because of my silly friend...'

Eddie wasn't happy to leave so soon but he couln't reject her cute reaction."You haven't changed at all, still bewitching me with those fake acts." He said unpleasantly but he opened the door,sat on the driver's seat and started the engine within a few minutes. "Quickly hop on" he ordered. Evelyn's corners of the mouth twitched.

"Eww... hop on?" She repeated.

"Yeah I thought you are a bunny. That's why!" He smirked.

'Owwwwhhhhhh this brother of mine is so nasty!'

"I'll crash you to death" she threatened him."Ohmo my bunny became a tigress all of a sudden" he chuckled. "No more jokes foolish brother" she said while kicking a stone near her foot."You are the only one who called me foolish, yeah a student with the top master degree of economics and phD degree for accounting can be foolish sometimes, I agree" he nodded his head.

"Wow, big brother you are such a genious" Maria praised him.Other students also looked at him with respect. Eddie winked at her if like saying 'see who's foolish!'

Evelyn shook her head helplessly. 'He only knows babbling his achievements.'

However honestly speaking, Everyn was the most happiest person for hearing his achievements apart from his parents.Eddie also was so much proud of his sister. They loved eachother so dearly although they fought the most of the time.

After bidding farewell to Maria and others Evelyn calmly sat down on the passenger seat.Now big brother started questioning his sister. Gradually private to career.He cleared his throat.

"Ehem...Evelyn I wanna talk to you."

Evelyn clearly knows her brother. She knew that it's time to be serious."I'm listening brother." She replied carefully.

Eddie: "Are you dating someone?" A serious tone.

Eve : " No big bro, I never dated anyone."

Eddie:"Well now you are 24 years old.It's time for the marriage. You have to find someone to marry."

'Seriously bro, you are acting like my father oh no like my grandfather.' She thought.

Eve: " Big bro, you are 28 years old and still single so why are you bothering poor me?!"

Eddie: "Girls are different. Their beauty will decrease as the time passes"

Eve: "..." "Then I'll do a plastic surgery, problem solved."

Eddie shot her a cold glance."No way! You are a natural beauty. I don't allow you to do that, besides they are harmful for the body, you can easilly get sick and die." "Eww big bro you are so straightforward. Okay I won't do that, I was just joking relax okay?"

Eddie sighed heavily. "I know you aren't stupid."

He said."It's all thanks to me."

'Yeah yeah big bro, praise yourself! Hmph!'

"Evelyn you know your first job isn't simple as you think, the percentage of your success is very low honestly speaking it can be 10% or more lower than that." "Oh big brohhh aren't you supposed to encourage me?" She complained unhappily.

Eddie chuckled a little. "I'm telling the truth, silly.

You can understand the reason behind selecting you." Evelyn cleared her throat.

"Ehem...I guess so, but can you tell me to confirm that?" "Well,all the doctors before you are middle aged or old. He's young so they thought a young doctor will please him, it means he will open up to you much better than compared to them." He explained.Evelyn nodded her head."That means this psychopath is a closed book." She whispered. Eddie looked at her in a disbelief. "What did you say? Psychopath? Are you even a doctor? So heartless! He's a human like us. How can you say that to him? We can also have mental illnesses. You can't say you won't get any just because you are a psychiatrist. I can't believe you are my sister. How can you cure them if you don't even respect your patients?!" He scolded her heavily.

Evelyn felt extremly guilty. She nervously bit her fingernails. "I'm so sorry big brother, I was wrong. I will never act like this ever again, I promise you." She whispered in a meek voice. Eddie sighed heavily. "I'm glad you understood your mistake."

Evelyn lowered her head.

"Honestly I feel extremly pity towards young master. He isn't supposed to be like that.He was a good boy when he was young. You will understand what I'm talking about after reading his reports. You will also pity him I guarantee."

He said.

Evelyn didn't speak. They both became silent after that. After eight hours of drive (Eddie didn't book a flight early so they had to use a car) they arrived to their rosebush mansion. Yes, they were rich. But compared to young master's family they could be considered as third level.Undoubtedly, young master's family remained at the top level for all these years.Young master was the only successor for their company. Unfortunately he's suffering from a mental illness. So his grandfather and father were trying their best to cure his illness. Unluckily nothing worked for all these years. However they didn't drop their hopes yet. How could they bear to pass their company to an outsider,right?
