Prologue

"Don't come anywhere close to me" Ava took a step backward sobbing, she thought he was going to turn his back and leave, but her hope shattered when he took another step towards her.

Ava had seen his profile and she had decided not to have anything to do with him.

when he's given a task which is to exterminate someone, he never disappoints and he's best at what he does.

He was said to be born into a mafioso family, no one knows why he had chosen this path as his family was the richest in the central city.

"I'm here to protect you," he said inching forward.

"Liar!, you are here to kill me," she ran to the corner of the room and she was trapped between the wall and the dangerous man which she knows not his intentions towards her.

"I hate it when little kitten like you disobey me," he said as he trapped her between the wall.

She closed her eyes and quivered with fear at his words, she couldn't bring herself to look at him in the eyes, it seems the world stop that moment as Ava expected a slap but instead, he used his fingers to roughly move some strands of hair that cling to her face, her face is wet with tears and sweat mixed.

he held her hand and roughly turn her, making her face the wall,

"Ahhh!" she cried out.

he had a huge stature so he hovered over her.

he bent his face and whispered into her ears.

"I own your f*king miserable life, little lamb and I alone can take your life away from you, do you understand!" he screamed in the last sentence.

Ava nodded in acceptance of his words.

"Are you dumb?" he asked angrily

"Yes, I understand," she said crying.

He roughly shoved her aside, and turn his back on her.

"I should not wait for you in the car," he sounds her a warning.

She could not stay strong anymore so she break down in tears.
