"I didn't know you had a mansion outside the castle," Nikolas said, his eyes scanning the dining room as they settled in for lunch.
Alexander pulled out the chair for Nikolas to sit. "I made it for my mate," he explained, smiling. "A place to escape the pressures of royal life."
Nikolas sat down, his gaze lingering on Alexander's face. " It's beautiful" he said with pure admiration
The dinning room was an elegant décor, with its cream colored walls and richly polished table.
The dining table was set with fine china and crystal silverware that glints in the soft light streaming through the windows.
Alexander takes his seat across from Nikolas. "I am glad you like it. I wanted a place where we could be ourselves."
The butler poured wine into their glasses. "Your Majesties, today's menu features roasted duck with wild rice and steamed vegetables."
