Sleeping Shamefully

All they did was eat, kiss, drink and relax in the jacuzzi. Then, they dressed up for bed. Eris lay beside him, feeling guilty. She wanted to throw up all of the foods that she ate but every time Gray teased her, she forgot all about it. Gray can simply make her forget all of the negative things in her head. She shamefully lies beside him, pillowing his chest.

Gray was asleep but she wasn't. She was wondering if she should stay longer and enjoy how he treated her like a baby. She loved it but somehow, he wasn't that person who would continuously treat her like someone with a disability. He only gave her instructions so she could do it by herself. He doesn't pity her he seemed to be thrilled with teasing her so much.

She slowly sat up as she used her vision to look at his sleeping face. She used her hand to trace his lips and she bent down to kiss them lightly. It didn't wake him up. She then finally lay beside him to sleep, hoping that the guilt she felt would just go away.

She woke up late and Gray was excited. He prepared everything, even her clothes. The breakfast that was in the kitchen also smelled famishing. She can't wait to eat and be taken care of by him, kiss her and hug her. She expected a kiss and he hugged her and kissed her lips.

"Now, our Lake House is ready and we got a personal hot spring in there, also, we can have a little camping." He picked her up. "So?"

"Sounds amazing."

"We will stay for like the whole week, is that okay with you?" He asked.

"Hmm," She nodded her head.

"I have to go back to the city to meet my friend, Martha."

"Okay, great. I can meet her."

Eris froze but she smiled and just agreed with him.

"But, we will be staying in my unit for a while. We might not see each other for a while."

His grin faded and turned into a big pout. He sighed as he carried her to the kitchen. Her arms wrapped around him tightly. He put her down on the comfy chair and kissed her cheeks. She pulled his nape as he grinned and kissed her more.

"I smell bad." She mumbled.

"No. You taste good and smell good. I want to kiss you down there."

"What?"

"When we get married, I will devour you." He whispered and kissed her cheeks. She flushed like a tomato and she shook her head. "Oh, baby, I will love you just fine and I will make love to you like crazy."

She slowly bit her lower lip as she felt her whole body responding to that sexy voice. Even her nipples feel a little stiff. He rubbed her sides.

"Bathroom?"

She shook her head. His phone interrupted them. Eris felt a little dizzy but Gray reached her hand and led it to her cup of tea.

"Have some tea, my love. It's raspberry fruit tea."

"It already smells good."

"I will just answer this call and you can start." He left as he went to the bedroom. It might be very important, so she stayed and enjoyed the tea.

Back in the bedroom, Gray answered the call while peering through the window.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I couldn't call you last night because Lala died. Benny and Quinn are very sad, as well as Calli."

"Who's Lala?" Gray was puzzled.

"The Angelfish," She sighed. "Well, the three knows who Lala was and since they name each of the aquatic animals in their aquarium, that also includes the shrimps."

"Oh," Gray cleared his throat. "Anyway, what's up?"

"The most important part was your girlfriend's friend. She arrived just yesterday and coincidentally, she's had a flight with one of the members of the Eagle Empire."

"Huh?"

"Yes. It's quite fishy. If Janella Lefebure and Griffin Lefebure were being backed up by the Eagle Empire, which are the Kuznetsov, I think we needed more protection than before."

"Oh-kay." He mumbled. "But how is it connected to my girl?"

"It's just a coincidence that Martha might be one of the bait. I don't know. We haven't found anything else yet but if this happened again, well we might uhh,"

"I will still marry her," Gray said stubbornly.

"If she's the girl that we are searching for~~"

"So be it," Gray mumbled. "We will do everything to protect our family and if I have to take her out of the country away, then I will do that."

"Gray," Johanna sighed. "I don't want you to get hurt or something, but it's up to you. We are here to support you. For now, enjoy your vacation and we will deal with the dead fish."

Gray chuckled bitterly.

"Okay,"

"Bye." Johanna hung up as Gray, stared out of the window, his hand dropped beside him. He started hoping that Eris wasn't connected to the Lefebure or the Eagle Empire, or else, he would have to give her up. If she hurts a member of his family, he will get mad. But looking at Eris and thinking how gentle she was, no one would ever think that she could be a two-faced person.

Gray went back to the kitchen and smiled as usual while Eris was finishing up her tea.

"Can I have more of this?" She asked as she placed the teacup down, with her other hand leading the teacup.

"Teapot is just in front of you. Two inches from your teacup."

She smiled as she used her hands to reach it and poured it. She used her finger to touch the top of the teacup until she felt the hot steam. She stopped and gently placed it over the table although it wasn't in the perfect spot. Gray smiled and admired her. She's independent and he knew that she would spoil everyone she loves once she can see.

"So, what is the first thing you would do when you can see?" He asked out of nowhere as she raised her face.

"Hmm?"

"I think there's a chance that you will be able to see it again. What is the first thing that you will do?" He asked.

"Stare at your face for long." She said without rethinking. Gray was surprised.

"You might get tired of it and maybe you'll break up with me."

She smiled.

"Then, I'll just close my eyes to recharge and look at you when it's okay again."

Gray smiled as he reached her face over the table.

"Baby, you don't know what you are saying. You are making my flatter. You will see me again, my love. Just stay with me and marry me, okay?"

She didn't answer as she only smiled.

"Baby, come on." He mumbled. "Let's finish up breakfast so we can leave for the lake house."

The two eat happily. Gray can't stop smiling as he recalls how she said those words. He's getting head over heels on her. He wished that he had recorded her saying it.

"So, what else do you want to do?"

"I want to see the sea and mountains. But I want to cuddle with kids first." She couldn't stop smiling just thinking about it. "They said that they drew me something."

"Who told you that?"

"Benny and Kaiden."

"Oh," Gray laughed. "Those two are smitten with you. Don't worry, when we get back you can play with those two while I am busy."

She nodded her head.

"But first, I would like to stay with a friend back in my unit."

"Okay, sure, love. We can make that arrangement. Can we see each other constantly?"

"Well, I~~" She bit her lower lip. "I want to have fun with her, I don't want to ruin your appointments."

"Okay, a week has passed. Then, on the weekend, you are all mine."

A big smile drew across her lips as she agreed. But deep inside, her stomach forms into tight knots.

"Or do you want to party with her? I mean, I don't want to invade your space~~"

"Weekend, I'll be with you."

"Great." He grinned. "I can't wait."

They finished their food and they checked out shortly. She packed her clothes, using her sense of touch although Gray insisted. She folded it neatly which surprised them while he was checking a few things.

Once they finished packing, he took her downstairs and checked out.

"Darling," He smiled at her. "Do you want some fresh coconut drinks on our way there?"

"Can we?" She asked excitedly. "Are they sweet?" She asked.

"Yes, we will find something sweet like you." He grinned and kissed her cheeks after he buckled her up.

He quickly hopped in and drove out of the hotel. He reached her hand and held it as she smiled and held his right hand with both of her hands.

"Since this car is automatic, we can just hold hands until we get there."

"Isn't it unsafe?"

"Don't worry, I got you." He brought her hand to his lips.
