Falling for U

It was the first day of school, and the air was buzzing with excitement as students made their way to their new classes. Among them was 16-year-old Emily, who was starting her junior year. As she walked through the crowded hallway, she spotted her best friend, Alex, waving at her from across the room.

"Emily! Over here!" Alex shouted.

Emily made her way to Alex, who was already surrounded by a group of friends.

"Hey guys!" Emily greeted them.

"Hey Emily, how was your summer?" one of Alex's friends asked.

"It was good, just hung out with my family mostly. How about you guys?"

"I went to Hawaii with my family," another friend replied.

As they chatted, Emily's attention was drawn to a boy who had just walked into the classroom. He was tall, with messy brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Emily couldn't help but stare.

"Who's that?" she asked Alex, pointing to the boy.

"Oh, that's Tyler. He's new here," Alex replied.

"He's cute," Emily said absentmindedly.

"Uh oh, looks like someone has a crush!" one of Alex's friends teased.

Emily blushed and looked away, embarrassed.

As the class began, Emily tried to focus on the lesson, but her thoughts kept wandering to Tyler. She couldn't help but steal glances at him every now and then.

After class, Emily and Alex made their way to their next class, which happened to be the same class as Tyler's.

"Hey, do you guys mind if I sit here?" Tyler asked, gesturing to the empty seat beside Emily.

"Sure, go ahead," Emily replied, trying to hide her excitement.

As the class went on, Emily and Tyler struck up a conversation. They talked about their hobbies, their favorite movies, and their families. Emily found herself laughing at Tyler's jokes and feeling a spark of attraction between them.

As the class ended, Tyler turned to Emily and said, "Hey, do you want to grab lunch together?"

Emily's heart skipped a beat. "Sure, that sounds great."

As they walked to the cafeteria, Emily couldn't help but feel giddy with excitement. She was falling for Tyler, and she had a feeling he felt the same way.
