𝑮𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝑳𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒍

After graduating the Blackwood Institute as a M-C, I decided to become an assistant instructor since I couldn't go to the middle realm. While I don't enjoy teaching other cadets, it's still the best way for me to get stronger quickly with rewards varying from the lightning element 3% Aspect Core, the various resources for training as well as the access to most library platforms and other places normal cadets won't ever see.

I opened my eyes after spending the night meditating and fusing the lightning aspect deeper into my body core. Which becomes super flashy when combined with my dagger mold that's equal to Grade-3 weapons. Grade 1 being easy to break weapons such as the wooden ones. Second grade being hard material weapons such as iron, and third being anything above that. Only few ores from mortal world are comparable to a third grade weapons durability, but if you were to make a blade out of these two, the blade from the ores will never be nearly as sharp as the third grade material one.

I brushed my teeth and immediately started waking up the upper cadets who are still sleeping

so they can get ready for the start of second years program.

After I was done, I visited Alaric. He was an older looking man with different scars of different depths and lengths all over his body. He was sent from the middle realm to look for kids with potential to become Monarchs one day, Monarchs being the direct underlings who serve the Overlord, that title being given to rulers of middle graded realms. Despite his unimaginable power which was easily above any Noble, even ones such as the head of the institute, who's very close to our Lord. He was a pretty kind and giving person.

'I wonder who'd win if he and the Lord were to fight.. '

He told me to bring him an upper cadet named Lloyd to him which was a little startling to me.

'Does he plan on teaching him?'

Lloyd was a relatively quiet and lazy person. A strong 16 year old who made a name for himself after beating almost all of his opponents without any difficulty but after he lost his dad who died in the middle realm which he visited often to guard one of the city lords children, he became very dispassionate person. He doesn't attend any school events that don't involve fighting, nor does he speak to anyone. All he does during his days is train and spar, without ever doing anything to get any form of reputation which in turn decreases the chance for him to visit middle realm one day.

Regardless, I passed the order onto the cadet and went along with my day.

Before getting to the office, there was a fight in one of the lower cadet hallways which I've broke off and punished the students. After that all the assistant instructors prepared a speech and papers with this years program for the cadets under them. Since I was assistant instructor for Alaric, there were only upper cadets so I had easier time in both getting the cadets to one place and readying them for everything.

[Canteen]

I notified all cadets under me coming for lunch about the whereabouts of where we'll meet and what to bring with themselves.

"No way you've already got everyone!" said a fellow assistant instructor who had about 80 middle cadets under her supervision.

"We barely have 30 people here.. "

"Well, a certain cadet still hasn't arrived but he should be aware of our meet up" I replied, both wondering if and hoping that cadet Lloyd skipped lunch and went directly to instructor Alaric.

[Outside of main building]

Now that we have everyone here..

"Before I begin, congratulations on not only passing first year but also becoming an upper tier for those who weren't before."

Few people cheered, some clapped. But majority of the cadets were already visibly tired after their first training session of the year.

"After this is over, please come to me for a paper with all the details on the harmonogram and an additional list that you'll returned after you pick your new major classes that'll replace last years basic theories. "

"Now, I'll start off with the most important thing. around this time next week, you'll be receiving your body cores. And I repeat, this time next week so mKe sure to be there unless you want to get a higher purity core with your own means. These were specifically sent from the middle realm we are under, and are very rare even for their standards, as they've been found in one of the sanctuarys storages that have been lost when the Eternal Kingdom realm shattered. Not some cores found on the market. "

"Also someone please notify cadet Lloyd about this and take two papers here, one of which you'll give to him. "

With everything done, I sent the students away to choose their classes. Despite the need to choose what you'll focus on for the next years to come, everyone seemed very happy and excited since they'll finally be receiving cores. With that, not only will they start their rise to power, but also be allowed to far superior training halls and higher library platforms with complex core theories such as "Implementing an Aspect into a Body Core" written by Instructor Alaric himself.
