Yoon-ah's POV

"Argh. What do you want this time Yoon-ah." Eungi said, eyes glued onto her papers.

"I-I just thought you could maybe spend some time with me?" I replied hesitantly, giving her my winning smile.

She grunted. "I'm busy." Using her hand to swipe me away.

"But you could always take a break. Stress isn't good for you." I say.

She bangs the table with her fist. "Can't you see that I'm busy? And for your information, you are definitely the thing that is giving me the most stress." she snapped.

I whisper sorry before trudging out of her office. This isn't anything new. Eungi always gets mad when I distract her from work. I've gotten used to her aggressive attitude. Its already been three years.

I tie my thick wavy bright pink hair into a braid as I slumped down on the couch in the living room, pulling out my phone to watch some dramas.

But I couldn't help but cry when Min-Hyuk died. It was so depressing. Just as the tears started falling from my face, Eun walked in. She glanced at me and sighed, rolling her eyes.

"So immature," she muttered.

Yoon-ah entered the hallway and searched for her room number, 501.

As she walked through the hallway to find only a few people looking around, she finally found her room.

"Room 501," it says on the sign above the door.

And below it says,

"No lesbians allowed, Eun."

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵?"

-----------------------------------------------------

Yoon-ah took off her shoes and put down her luggage.

"I guess this side of the room is mine," Yoon-ah said to herself looking at the other side of the room.

It was a bland white with bare space and no decorations.

That meant she could do whatever she wanted with it.

She started unpacking.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮?"

Yoon-ah quickly snapped her head back.

It was a young woman, probably in her early twenties, with silver hair in a wavy bob. It matched perfectly with her sun-kissed skin and plump lips.

𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦. She thought.

"Hello. I'm Kwon Yoon-ah. Your new roommate? The door was open so I assumed..." Yoon-ah smiled shyly.

"This is my room." She said with a monotone, sending deep shivers up her spine.

"But I'm your roommate. Here it says my room is 501." Yoon-ah said quietly, padding towards her to hand her the slip of paper.

But the other smacked the paper from her hands.

"Fuck Aeun."

Now Yoon-ah was terrified. She was just trying to be nice, but instead, she got the exact opposite.

A few seconds later the grey-haired replied, "Get out."

"W-what?"

"I said get out. NOW." she yelled, pointing directly towards the door.

Tears started forming around Yoon-ah's eyes.

"I'm sorry, but why?" She asks trembling.

"Just get a damn new room. Get out before I make you." She ordered staring directly into her with piercing eyes.

Yoon-ah had exactly no idea what she did wrong.

She snatched her luggage and ran out the door.

Yoon-ah sat on the bench outside of the dorm.

Other students like her were laughing with all of their friends and going to wherever they wished.

She slumped on the bench with her half opened suitcase in front of her.

"Now what do I do." She mumbled.

"Hey! Is this yours?" A girl shouted to her from afar.

Yoon-ah squinted and saw a black-haired girl towards her with something in her hands.

"Me?" Yoon-ah asked, pointed towards herself.

"Yeah, you! Is this yours?" She asked again, holding up a scarlet bra in her hands.

Yoon-ah blushed. It was her bra.

"Y-yeah that's mine."

𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨. She thought.

"You dropped it in the corridor while you were running. Are you okay?" The girl asked sitting down next to her handing Yoon-ah her bra.

"T-thank you," Yoon-ah muttered.

The girl giggled loudly, a dimple forming in her cheek.

𝘚𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦.

"Hi, I'm Aeon and It's my second year here. I live on the same floor as you." She introduced herself.

"I'm Yoon-ah. I just transferred here this morning."

"You're cute Yoon-ah." She said pinching her cheeks, grinning.

Yoon-ah heated up again, her face going red from her pale skin.

"So, what happened?", Aeon asked in concern.

"Um...I guess I kinda got kicked out by my roommate?" Yoon-ah whispered.

"Really? By who?", Aeun asked.

"I actually don't know. She just told me to get out. I think her name was Eun something?" she explained.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry Yoon-ah! That's my best friend Eunji! It's my fault." Aeon apologized.

Yoon-ah tilted her head.

"Why is it your fault?"

"I was actually supposed to be your roommate but since I already have a roommate, I asked my friend Seol to take my place. But I guess she didn't really want to so she changed it to Eungi's room." She explained, guilty.

"Oh...It's fine." Yoon-ah says, forcing a smile to her face.

𝘈𝘴 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵. 𝘕𝘰𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘦.

"I'm so sorry. I can make it up to you Yoon-ah!" Aeun says, hopeful.

Yoona chuckled.

"It's not your fault. I can find a new roommate so It's totally fine," she reassured her.

"Really?"

Yoon-ah nodded.

------------------------------------------------------

"Hi, is this the main office for the dorms?" Yoon-ah asked the man in the office.

"I need a room. My room was 501 but there were some issues. Are there any other rooms available?"

"Um...okay let's see," she said looking through her computer. "Sorry all of the rooms are occupied 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 501."

Yoon-ah eyes darkened. "Oh. OKay."

"Is there any way you can stay in room 501?"

"I'll ask again. Thank you." Yoon-ah said, heading towards the door.

She was troubled.

Should she got back to this Eungi girl and ask again?

Or was it too risky?

It was worth a try. You never know what might happen.

Yoon-ah gathered all of her things and headed to the dorm.

𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬.

A few seconds later the door opened.

As soon as Eungi saw Yoon-ah's face, she shut the door.

But Yoon-ah was quick and strong enough to hold the door open.

"Please listen to me," she begged trying not to shake her voice.

"I said I won't share my room," Eungi said, face hardening.

"But this is the only room that's left. I heard what your friend Aeun said and I'm sorry." Yoon-ah apologized.

"I don't care if this is the only room available. Go back home," she demanded.

"Please? Just for one night?" she pouted.

"No."

"Please! I'll do anyth-"

Before Yoon-ah could finish she slammed the door in her face.

"Great."

Yoon-ah slumped down on the door and sat criss-crossed, her back on the door.

"I guess I'm sleeping here tonight," she muttered. It was already 8 pm and Yoon-ah was getting hungry, but she was too stubborn so she stayed put.

An hour passed and Yoon-ah was beginning to feel sleepy....and she slowly fell into a deep sleep.

Eungi walked out of the door to go out for dinner. She saw the younger sleeping on the ground like a beggar.

"You've got to be kidding me." she groaned tapping her feet impatiently.

The sleeping girl sat there, snoring softly. Her long straight dark hair covering her mouth slightly. She was curled in a tight ball, shivering.

Eungi took out her phone and dialed a number "Hey Mer? Sorry, I don't think I can go with you guys tonight- yeah something came up. Bye."

Eungi sighed.

"Fuck."
