My Problems Aren't Just Mine.

"Hey! Wake up!" Gale yelled as she jumped on top of me, "W-What do you want Gale?" I asked with a yawn, "What do you mean, What do I want? I WANT YOU TO WAKE UP!" She shouted in my ear.

"Okay okay, I'll get up, Jeez, So much just to get an Assassin to wake up." I sighed as I got up from my bed and rubbed my eyes, After getting up I walked over to the nearest window in my room, "Another quiet day, Huh?" I said as I put my hand into my left pocket, "Oh yeah, I forgot I had these pills, And my inhaler." I said almost in disappointment.

"You should take your pills Zakou, Please, You will-" Gale pointed out as Jonetsu knocked on the door, "Come in." I answered.

"Hey, You're finally awake." Jonetsu said as he walked into the room, "Yeah he is, I HAD TO JUMP ON TOP OF HIM SO HE WOULD WAKE UP!" Gale shouted, "O-Oh, is that so? I still can't believe you have the wind spirit as your companion." Jonetsu pointed out as he scratched his head.

Five days ago…

"Yo Zakou, Sorry to barge in but-" Jonetsu said as he walked into the room, "Oh, Hi!" Gale smiled as she realized Jonetsu had walked into the room, "H-Hi?" Uh, I-Is Jun here or something?" Jonetsu asked in total confusion as he looked at me, "Who's Jun?- NO, I'm the 'Wind Spirit" Gale!" Gale exclaimed with a bright smile, "T-THE WIND SPIRIT!?" Jonetsu shouted in total shock…

"As you can remember, I was literally losing it back then." Jonetsu pointed out, "Yeah I can remember, So what's up?" I asked full of wonder, "Ok, I have good news, and bad news, Which would you like to hear first?" He asked with a serious expression, "Good news." I answered because I wanted to get it over with, "Okay, But once you hear them, You won't be allowed to leave this room until I give you the bad news." Jonetsu explained, "Yeah yeah, Just tell me." I hurried, "Misaki is awake." He said with no facial expression as the air got tense.

"A-Are you serious?" I said with a gasp, "Yeah, But here are the bad news, She won't be able to walk for a day or two, She was so badly injured that she won't be allowed to use her 'Element' for a week or so, How did she go from critical condition to almost perfectly fine in a week, I don't know, and I don't want to know, I'm just happy she's awake-" Jonetsu explained as I slowly walked past him giving no mind to what else he had to say.

Once out of the room I slowly walked towards Misaki's room while Gale followed me as well as Jonetsu, As soon I got to her door I came to a stop, I hesitated to open the door, Part of me at this moment wanted to see her, But another part of me couldn't face her at the moment, I quickly made up my mind, Bit my lip and slammed the door open.

"M-Misaki!" I yelled as I slammed the door open, Oh Hey Zakou!" Smiled Misaki as she didn't expect me to jolt into the room, "Y-Your awake." I shuddered as I started to tear up, "Yeah I'm awake; Are you okay?" She said as she could clearly see I was seconds away from crying, "You're crying." She gasped, "Well, It's that- You're finally awake." I smiled to try and relieve the tension in the air.

Something was different this time, Usually when I'm strongly moved by my emotions, My eyes will assume the respective color of that emotions, This time, my eyes were split into two different colors, the left side of my pupil stayed blue, While the right side glowed in a bright yellow. (yellow is for lightning which stands for happiness.)

For a moment I was able to hold my tears, So I walked towards her, I wasn't going to break down in front of her, No, Not here- Not now. It won't help going into tears in front of her, But I can barely keep my sanity right now.

"H-How are you feeling?" I asked Misaki after sitting next to her, "I'm doing great." She answered with a genuine but forced smile, "I see, Well that's great to hear." I said in a low tone of voice as tears came down my cheeks.

It was so sudden I didn't notice I was crying till she looked at me in the eyes. The left side of my eyes started to glow brighter than the right side.

"I'm very happy you're awake, Misaki." I said as I gently picked her hand up, "And, I'm sorry." I said as I took my gaze from her hand to her face as my tears came more fiercely, "Z-Zakou." She started but I cut her off, "For everything, I'm useless, I-I couldn't do anything useful in those moments, I couldn't save you from being in this state, Nor help Jonetsu, I couldn't even do a thing." I cried out.

"Zakou." Said Gale and Jonetsu as they heard what was going on in the room, "I will go in and talk to him-" Jonetsu said to Gale as she stopped him, "Let him get this off his chest, It's the least he can do." She said to him with a frown, "Yeah, Your right." Jonetsu sighed as he took a few steps back and leaned on a wall with his arms crossed.

"I'm really sorry, Not only you guys, But also Hideo-" I cried as she spoke over me, "Zakou, This has always been your bad habit, Haven't you noticed? You never have asked yourself, Am I doing okay? You are always thinking about those around you before even thinking about yourself." She said to me as she looked at me in the eyes.

"B-But, I couldn't save my sister…" I cried even harder, at this point I was whaling, "Zakou, Look at me, There is nothing I can tell you about your sister or your family, I can't, I know nothing about them, I could end up saying the wrong thing and end up hurting you more than what you already are-" She tried to calm me down But I spoke over her.

"Misaki, I-Im an assassin, Worrying about I getting hurt emotionally is like asking a doctor, Why are they working as a Doctor, I've been closer to death more times than I've wanted, I won't expect you to see me the same way, But I have also killed more people than I've wanted to, Bad people, Scumbags that I wish instead of killing them I would have erased them off the face of the planet, And none of that affected me, But this few days almost dying once to some guy I have no idea what he wanted, and almost dying to my powers… I DON'T KNOW WHAT GOING ON ANYMORE, I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING INSANE." I cried out all of my problems, "WHAT SHOULD I DO? I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T KNOW-" I cried and screamed until she gently placed her hands on my face and pulled me closer to her and whispered into my ear.

"I'm here for you."

All of the problems that seemed to be tearing me apart, washed away like sand in the beach, I laid there in genuine shock, I felt at peace, I felt nothing more than peace, I laid on top of her crying and crying as she pulled me closer and comfort me while patting my head, until a while later I fell asleep, I stayed awake for a whole week; I fell knocked out over he lap.

"Well, This is more than I expected." Sighed Jonetsu, "What do you mean!?" Yelled Gale in anger, "ARE YOU NOT THE LEAST BIT WORRIED!?-" She went on as Jonetsu stopped her, "It's not that i'm not worried, Of course I am, I've known him for ten years, If anyone knew this was going on with him would be me, But my point here is that if he never spoke to me about this is because he wanted someone that could really listen to his problems and tell him that everything is alright, I can't do that with a straight face or a smile, I'm not his psychologist. I will help him as much as I can." He explained to Gale with his eyes closed, Once he finished he leaned off of the wall and made his way towards the door where Misaki and I were.

"Hey." He said while gently knocking on the door, "Hey Jonetsu-san." She whispered, "Thanks for helping out Zakou, I will take him to his room now-" He went on until Misaki stopped him.

"Its okay, You don't need to thank me, He's an Assassin for crying out loud, I don't expect him to go through life with not the least bit of doubt or remorse, He's come so far and I always thought he was amazing in all aspect- If anything I feel like i'm closer to him than ever before, I want to be there for him in his good and bad days." She said while gently patting my head in my slumber.

"Well, If you say so, I guess I have less work to do then." Said Jonetsu, He turned around and took his exit, "I think you found yourself a good one buddy." He thought to himself with a smile.

"W-What happened!?- Ugh, I will take my leave then, Hmph!" Pouted Gale as she dissolved into bright orbs of light.

"M-Misaki." I whispered in my sleep.

Misaki pulled me closer to her and smiled, She got comfortable and went to sleep herself.

A couple of hours later…

Once I got up I looked around confused while rubbing my eyes.

"Well I haven't slept like that in years." I subconsciously said out loud while rubbing my eyes.

After I finished rubbing my eyes, I put my hands on the bed and oddly enough, I felt something squishy and round at the palm of my hand, and in curiosity I squeezed it.

"Z-Zakou." Moaned Misaki with a blush, "AAAAAAAAH!" I yelled as I fell off the bed, "I-I-Im so sorry!" I said while bowing down to the ground, "I-It's okay, More importantly, how are you doing?" She asked while fixing her shirt, W-Well thanks to you I feel like I was just born today, I can't thank you enough." I thanked her while bowing even closer to the ground, "N-No it's nothing, I'm just happy that I was able to help you." She answered, "M-Misaki, There is something I want to tell you, I-" I started until one of my classmates slammed the door open.

"Good Morniiiiing!" Yelled Reimi as she ran through the door, "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" I jumped as my pupils rapidly changed from red to a dirt brown, and out of nowhere a large wall of earth formed in front of me.

"Wh-What the- Did we interrupt something?" Asked Reimi as my other classmates walked into the room.

"U-Uh no, Nothing important." I sighed as I voluntarily retracted the earth wall back into the ground.

"M-MISAKIIII!" Cried out Reimi as she ran up to give Misaki a hug, "W-What are you guys doing here?" Misaki struggled to speak.

"What do you mean what are we doing here??!" Sniffled Reimi as she looked at Misaki's face, "We came here to see you!" Shouted our other classmates.

"Were being dispatched today." Said Jonetsu as he came into the room dressed in his usual clothes with his hands in his pockets.

"And, We also have a surprise for you three!" Smiled Reimi.

"A surprise?" Jonetsu Misaki and I asked with a gasp.
