His soul eventually merges with the void, and he comes to understand that he has become a part of it. He develops new languages and abilities. After centuries, perhaps millennia, of existence, the MC decides to sleep, with his soul expanding through the void and connecting with the shards. He awakens when he encounters something new: shards sewn together with golden threads, forming a circle. This creation fascinates him, as it is bound by the strings of fate.
